Yay, I got a mention. lol. Ok, so maybe I have issues, but I love my limos. I have four of them all set up differently, including one for drifting. But Dirt Track Date is my favorite. Thanks for the shout out.
The Trial - So I ran this with quite a few vehicles just for fun. The three tracks are pretty different from each other. The first is nearly all speed while the last is total control. So I started with a tune I had for the Datsun 510. It simply lacked the speed to do well on the first track. Once it got to the gravel/dirt section, I gained spots up into 6th, but overall not a good match. Second track did well placing 3rd fighting through from the back. Third track, Ambleside, it destroyed. lol. I was about half a track length ahead by the end. Ended up blanking most of the field with oddly enough a single AI right behind me. Also ran the 1990 Nissan Pulsar and the 1990 Mazda RX-7. Both did well. Pulsar had better traction, RX-7 had better speed. But the best for me was the 1974 Toyota Corolla SR5. I feel it could have a little more top end, but it out accelerated everyone and when it did hit it’s peak, it took the turns flat out and kept everyone far behind. Blanked half the field on the second track and won at Ambleside but not as much grip as the Datsun. Gonna retune the Datsun to see if I get get some speed out of it.
1974 Toyota Corolla SR5 Tune: “Trial winner” due to no new tune codes
PGG - Ran a 1973 Ford Escort RS1600 because I had it tuned already…didn’t realize it was RWD. Soooo not recommended lol. Nearly everyone was a 77 Escort. Two Fulvias were also in it. So, kinda boring. Still won and that was with two untuned Escorts on my side.
Last Chance Saloon - So in keeping to my word, I will choose the Limo every event they have for Super Saloons. It just tracks really well, holds a great rally-style powerslide through the tight gravel turns and has a good feel to it. It’s a lot of fun.
2013 Cadillac XTS Limo Tune: 159 333 550
Rally 'Round the Flag - I just now realized I never saved my C600 tune for the 1990 Nissan Pulsar GTI-R. It did really well, decent speed, great control. Then I modded it up to 700 for the Trial and forgot to save the 600 version.
Beginner’s Truck - So I was looking at either a Jeep, the Scout, or a Hummer (might still do) and then saw the low PI Range Rover. It pulls a little slow at the start but then builds and holds it. It is a little tight in the suspension, it favors more a dirt track than open CC but it still did well enough. Even outran a wild Velociraptor that made its way into the series. lol.
1973 Land Rover Range Rover Tune: CC winner
PR Stunts - all three Someone mentioned doing all three with the RS200, and since the speed zone was def calling for it, decided to use it for all of them. The Danger Sign needs as much run up as you can give it though.
