Change exhaust, headlights, rear lights
Add more tire smoke and make last longer (burnouts, etc.)
When you add exhaust performance upgrade give it that distinct sound.
Add drag tires
1/4 mile drag strip
Dyno Tuning

Cars that could be added
2017 Honda Civic Type R
2010 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Turbocharged
2008 Acura TL Type S
2015 Saleen Mustang
2005 Saleen Mustang
Chevrolet Duramax
Dodge Cummins
Ford Powerstroke
2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon
2006 Pontiac GTO
2009 Honda Civic Si

Other then that FH3 turned out amazing I'd like it to stay the same other then more cars and more abilities as well as some more realistic features

Get rid of rubber banding.
Add a real hard rock and metal station.
Add a local track to the map that has a race track and drag strip.
Better exhaust sounds.
More tight, twisty mountain roads.
Leave off road racing to off road vehicles.
More powerful engines swaps in the same class instead of V8 - V10 - V12.
More varied weather conditions on the main map like snow and fog.

A feature like Cars and Coffee where you could get out your car at car meets and walk around and get inside cars with custom interior customization( Another feature that would be nice). I also have a lot of other features I would like if you want to read my earlier post

this is not really a prediction a more of what i want for forza horizon 4:

Location: North America... Ideally Canada would be cool because I'm Canadian, however ripping up and down the West coast of North America (Canada and the United States) would be awesome. I'm sure we all want twisty windy toads of the Rocky's, city landscapes of New York or Toronto, open highways in between and of course off road terran. Now that they intergated snow and ice I feel like it should be available off the hop in 4 (least a small section of the map).

Cars and mods: I cant stress this enough ALL MAKES & MODELS! It sucks when you cant build your car or your dream car. Maybe even add aftermarket exhausts that actuallly change the sound of the car. The sounds atm are okay, but I think there needs to be more of a range. As far as mods more rocket bunny kits. One idea I have is I'd love to see a nos kit, but make it realistic if you are in first gear and use nos you will over rev the engine.

A mobile application: I don't know about you, but when I'm not at home playing Xbox and I'm away I think about playing it. What if we were able to play some portion of the game on our phones. Maybe no race but have access to your car collection, the aution house. Maybe earn money/ credits by betting or some other sort of mini games

New races: I would love to drift race in a career race, doesn't matter if you come in first it's the person with the highest points that wins. Yes the drift zones are cool but not the same. I would also like to drag in career not just online.

Forzathons: KEEP THEM COMING! After beating every achievement and besides playing online with a friend it's the only thing I looked forward to.

I enjoy the horizon series a lot. Each one has been better and better. In the next one i would love to see better suspension physics especially in trucks and jeeps. Aka flexing. Like... keep the horizon tradition going with free-roam racing but touch on the offroading/rock crawling aspect too. I know a LOT of people love to do that in FH3. Also putting in more truck choices and personalizations from lifts to tires to kinds of suspensions. That'd be a neat add-on to the next upcoming horizon game if there will be one

-more tarmac/tarmac areas, drift areas
-nothing against the landscape of FH3, its great, BUTmore exciting and different roads to drive on(which challenge the driver ->technical corners, etc)
-paintable rollcage, disc brakes, neon/underglow, differently coloured wheels
-more upgrade options (it is not satisfying at all to have only 1 or 2 upgrade possibilities for bumpers etc for most of the cars AND ONE OF THEM is the forza splitter/bumper-->higher variety for more cars = better; even if some of the options look a bit stupid like in the old NFS Underground 2 times, THEY ARE MORE OPTIONS which make a higher variety of builds)
-possibility to take of hoods of cars, also while driving to see engine
-changeable head and tailights as well as mirrors
-possibility to put stickers on windows
-higher camber
-higher range of lowering springs
-adding higher angle kits for drifting
-more cars with body kits, maybe also some with more than one(they do not need to be from a brand, be more creative and create some things on your own->its just a game)
-changeable exhaust
-make smoke model better(more smoke, maybe adjustable for the players in the options)
-give the characters of the game a character, not just "a person" who speaks 2 sentences
-festival upgrade screens with different animations for each upgrade for each location
-possibility to turn of Anna in the options

I have no idea where it will be but usa wouldbe great and id love cops chasing me. and not just a crappy implement of them, it has to be like need for speed most wanted 05 style, the more stars you build up the crazier it gets. nothing got my heart beating more then 5 star wanted level and a helicopter shows up and im in a bright spotlight...And with that there needs to be consequences, 3 times busted in a car it gets put on the auction house repossessed..Also USED CARS for sell, and permanent damage, you wreck your RX7 into a tree you need a new front bumper, race without it and risk police attention or go to the used car section and buy a junked RX7 for the bumper. TRAFFIC LAWS so you can invest in police scanners n such. Time for horizon to become a big boy game no more arcade free for all watered down street racer. And last thing i'd like horizon cars to feel like the forza 6/7 cars, heavier more realistic feel.

I think that forza horizon 4 should include more designing and upgrading options that I know people would appreciate and improve the quality of the product, for example

being able to add stickers on your windows

Being able to add halo headlights, tinted tail lights and under glow

More truck models like the chevy Silverado, Dodge ram and ford super duty with the option of a diesel engine and/or lift kits ability because I know alot of people that would like the game more if that was included

2004-2008 Hyundai Tiburon gt I've asked people what they thought on that being a good idea and they agreed

The ability to buy different exhaust systems

The ability to turn on/off AI cars because there always spawning and messing you up as your driving across the country

This is all things that I've asked people in multiple public sessions on what they'd like to see in the forza series if I hear anything that I have yet mentioned I'll include it, I hope you guys look and read this because it's what the people of forza would like to see thank you

I very well agree that Forza Horizon 3’s map is very good already. However like many others said above (is my reply even gonna be read?) the map has to be much much more technical. I guessed Australia’s was an exception, so now the devs have to find another country to “move” to now.
Tarmac, snow, mountains, and car park races? Yeah, devs should really consider the “island” of Japan a good think. Who says car culture isn’t great there? I don’t think anyone would say anything like that sort. And since we’re in Japan, why not, conveniently get Toyota back, by offering Toyota a place as cover car?
All in all, Japan is a great place for Forza to use for their fourth installation of the Horizon series. Fourth time’s a charm, am I not right?

I was just on the Facebook page and saw this. totally agree tbh. Horizon 1 was so much better for people who are competitive and like fast lap times etc. whilst still being lots really enjoyable. A racing game where racing is to be first can often mean nothing?! Its like saying in a football game the team with the most passes or best goal would be given points and could still be winners even after losing 3-1 and you lose points for yellow or red cards.

*Forza Horizon 1 on 360 was MASSIVELY better than FH2 & FH3 - Long 5 minute drives to events, where you're forced to cut over fields to arrive 1st, and so often hit a tree or flip etc. Its stupid that you have to pick one car for 4 different events - I pick a car built for tight cornering and sprint circuits like the Escort Cos - top speed maybe 5.5(a class) and its totally useless. There are no corners where I can utilise it! and stuck with it for 4 races and a 15km mission...its not fun when your opponents can hit 190/200mph when yours only does 145mph! off road is just poor and is more luck than anything as to which bump you hit or which idiot bumps you outside the checkpoint. The driving through water and sand is just painful too! The individual areas and circuits within them on fh1 were amazing and was good to be able to pick what car you had that was best for that event. The tracks had very exciting and unique corners that you could nail and open up a gap from the pack behind. It was much more exciting and precision cornering/fast lap times etc far more appreciated and satisfying. I feel like it is dumbed down for kids who probably would be able to compete with adults(even 14 year old plus) enough to keep them interested. Why can there just be the same mode as on FH1 for those that do just want to have varied and randomly set class/tracks. There are no other good arcade racing games out and FH1, then Project Gotham 4(2008) are still the best I have played to date.

I hope that in horizon 4 we have signal lights and flashable headlamps, and i want the map to be in the UK because come on they playground games are from the uk so why not. The other thing they need to do is get rid of the drift zones and the drivatars because them things get on my nerves

Before I start typing this I'm gonna say that I know that this is a lot. But I wanted to get all my ideas on one form in one post. Here we go.

What about this: Forget everything that T10 thinks they know.

Try an airport.

What it is is you will get country options. Europe, America, Australia, Japan, places with good car culture. You can take a plane like you would when you go to an expansion in FH3. You would get options at the airport place, like they had in 3, and you can go anywhere, but they would be decent maps, like Horizon 2. Not massive, just large enough to satisfy players by each of the maps. This would be a fulfilling experience with Europe and America's road perfection, Australia for offroading, and Japan for the scenic routes.

Also, we would have Motorsport 7 amount of cars, which is in the 7 hundreds if I'm correct.

We could have in-depth story that has some plot.

That is all I have for now. Like if you agree with me. I will edit if I think of more.

Also, what if we took popular tracks and added them to the drive onto and race around aspect. Nurburgring: Go to Germany (I think correct me if I'm wrong) from the airport, go out on the road, drive up and start racing. Or, you could bring in the top gear test track which is oh so popular in FM games. Or, even, with Grand Tour participation, the Eboladrome, which would be actual chaos to drive on.

Finally, what about ANNA? SCRAP IT. Take the idea of ANNA and use the dpad as a dashboard for your car. You can do radio settings like station or even volume. You can set the GPS to the nearest this or that. And, what if we could take a Porsche 918, and let it just run on electric power, from that menu. Or, lets take the back off of a Sesto Elemento and expose its beautiful engine. Take our favorite GT car and pop the roof off. From the press of a couple direction buttons you could have a convertible back to a roofed car when it starts raining. Make it real. Add some in-depth launch control. Make it so you can murder tire tread before a drag race. Get some nice revs in that Alfa Romeo before you destroy your competition in a ten mile race. Turn on that blinker for some realistic driving, or set it so you have to activate your own wipers

I know that none of this is likely to happen. I just put all of my ideas from the past four or so days. I will make an edit for some more ideas in the future.

I may have written this already, I know I did before 3 came out. There alot of things I'd love to see with this next iteration of Horizon, here a few.

Location

Why does it have to be somewhere specific? It's never a very accurate depiction of whatever location is chosen, just a fantasy interpretation or theme of a stated locale. Why not just make a large openly fantasy map that includes all the things folks want their specific place for? Mountains, canyons, cities, open highways, deserts, forests. Snowy spots, etc...

Racing

Whether online or single player, there should be race tracks that you DRIVE to and race. Plenty of small towns and big cities have at least a small, hometown race track. Having a drive to location to meet up with friends or just drive to and run the track would be a much more immersive experience. This should include Drag Strips as well as track for drifting!

A few examples of small, simple tracks that would fit very nicely into pretty much any map. more usefully than a wharehouse area that is mostly pointless. at least pointless without some sort of drift track or autocross.

Home garages

I would love to see some of the random houses and barns that have populated the Horizon games be usable, drive to home spaces and garages. There are many places in 3 that I would love to have as my garage.

As a drive to location, have a progression that give upgrades to your location. For example, start out with just a regular garage at a house and work your way up to having a full on speed shop/race garage. This all being something friends can find and drive to. Have this be the "storefront" for this next game. Have the ability to park some of your favorites outside for display. Again, much more immersive than fast traveling to a festival.

Bringing up the festivals, these are fine. Just very impersonal and at this point sorta stale.

DRAG RACING

It's time drag racing made a PROPER entrance into Forza!! If it has to be Horizon, then so be it. Something much better than the 1 mile runway drag meet that becomes nothing but AWD boring cheat fests.

Like speed zones and drift zones, there should be some 1/4 mile and 1/8 mile drag zones in various spots along the map. In single player, have a head to head drivatar race and a heads up in multiplayer.

As I had said before, there should be drive to drag strips. These could include everything needed for good, proper drag racing. A burn out box, staging with a working tree. Time slips with at least the 1/8th and 1/4 mile times.

This really should make it into the game at some point. It's been over 10 years of Forza games between Motorsport and Horizon. It's about time for some progression in development!!

Upgrades

There should be an upgrade path choice when building a car. Circuit, rally, drift and drag, even a "show or custom car" path. Each having a specific set of upgrades for each specific type of car.

Everything is already there for circuit and for the most part rally as well. For drift, I fully admit I don't know much about drifting, but I imagine there are plenty of missing drift specific upgrades that would really make a difference.

For drag, here's what I see.

Proper wheel and tire sets. Everything from the little 4" wide, pro street front tire along with the massive 36", big tire drag slick in back. Drag Radials. Rims that are actual drag rims.

Chassis upgrades that start with simple traction bars and go all the way to back half-ing a car with narrowed rearends and 4 link suspensions with wheelie bars. (These do MUCH more than stop wheelies!)

Proper engine options. Huge HP V8 engines. Everything from 454 LSX to a 572 to 632 big blocks. Big, tunable turbos and Procharger setups. Realistic, NOS kits. Programmable EFI systems.

Transmission upgrades with drag ratios, trans brakes, two step launching.

Having specific upgrade paths for each type of car would ensure that a 2000 hp drag engine wouldn't be used in a circuit car leading to problems with either folks not being able to handle that kinda power and wrecking everybody online or folks taking advantage of all those horses on longer straight tracks.

Over the weekend I will try to get some pics on this post to show as much as I can to help others picture what I'm talking about. Mostly I just want something NEW, different than a copy and paste game. Something MUCH better than what Forza 7 gave after a 2 year wait!! It's time these developers started pushing the envelope again and not just recycle what has already been done or throw in some new, nothing to do with racing aspect that doesn't make things more fun or engaging.

Something's that i would love in the next Horizon is the Lamborghini hurcán lp 580-2 , Lamborghini hurcán performanté, Lamborghini aventador Av, Lamborghini aventador s, motorcycles and superbikes, Ford Shelby supersnake f-150 and i would want all of this or at least all of the Lamborghinis to be free and not have to be paid for in a dlc or the VIP pack. I personally think that FH4 should be along the west coast of the U.S.A

1. Drag strip. In FH3, it got annoy racing people over and over again on the same drag strip (airport.) Include baracades down the middle and a racing tree.

2. For 1, wheelie bars, but NOT for every car, only drag cars.

3. Not insanely OP cars, like the Dart Hemi.

4. Muscle, muscle, muscle cars!!!!

5. Parking garages for drifting.

6. Make it so certain cars (like Ferrari) need SPECIFIC upgrades to go off-road. In FH3, off-road cars was a loose term.

7. Bigger sand dunes, plus paddle tires for cars.

8. Variations AI. How bought some trucks?

9. Rock music. Like AC/DC, Guns N Roses, Van Halen, and Mettalica

10. More tunnels. Trust me

This pretty much concludes my FH4 wishlist

Sorry to say, but they will never make a bunch of very good, strong, powerful cars free. They made a similar mistake in Horizon 2. Everyone after a while got a free Huracan or two. Owning a Huracan was practically a badge of honor in online games, but then everyone owned it, the cover car, the car that people felt compelled to earn, and that ended the amazing car. It seemed worse, it was pointless in online games because everyone owns one, and it was a waste of time for P.G. because at that point, not a single person wanted a Huracan anymore.

So a lot of what I am writing about is sorta GTA ish I guess. Horizon is an open world game and it's still sorta soul-less. It feels really cookie cutter to me. Don't get me wrong, I love the game along with all the Forzas. Just feels like there's an identity crisis happening.

Players Garage.

* I think you should have a spot in the map to pick from, sort of like the barn find areas, that become your home. From there you can park some cars outside, manage your collection, etc. Have this home be your hub, or storefront that is an actual location friends can drive to on the map.
Just like festivals, just more personal.

* As you progress through the game, you can unlock features or upgrades for your garage. Turn your 2 car garage into a full fledged speedshop or race teams.

Career Path

* At this point in the Xbox one, what can be done with a game (Rockstar and GTAV for example) it would be cool to see an option to choose a career path. Road racer, offroader, drifter or drag racer.

At the beginning of the game you pick which you want to be the focus of the play through. Which inherently would help with repeatability, I would think. Anyway, you start off as a street racer/amateur wanna be, work your way up to pro in whichever discipline you picked. Or maybe in Horizon go from just a young, nieve wanna be racer then work your way up to Street Legend. That sounds more Horizon. Point is, your working towards something, not just a level.

It would be neat to see, for example, if you picked drag racing, you could unlock a personal drag track at your garage location. Not really a huge NHRA style thing. Unless you could work up to it, maybe. I'm seeing more a tiny little, hidden gem, private 1/8th or 1/4 mile strip with burn out box and working tree. All triggered like speed traps or drift zones.

Map

* As I wrote already, I think our garages should be an actual location on the map. Someplace to drive to, to have friends drive to. These would accessible for your friends through their map as well. At least the 1st 24 or whatever lobby limit is.

* This could be the new storefront system. Drive to their garage, see the popular cars parked outside. Enter the garage to access all the shared content.

* along with the garages, I think there should be actual tracks, circuits, 1/8th and 1/4 mile drag strips, gymkahna and rally tracks. Places built into the map to drive to and race on. Not set up an event, get in a lobby, all that stuff. Just something to drive to, pull into and thrash on some cars with friends.

Upgrades

* Career specific upgrades. Obviously keep the ability to build what you want when you want and all that. But have upgrades for circuit or road racing. Have drag specific upgrades, drift, rally and so on. For instance, for drag racing:

* proper tire packages, 4 inch wide fronts with up to 16 inch wide rears. Drag Radials and full on Big Tires.
* huge displacement engines, 700 plus cubic inches
* giant blowers, giant turbos and centrifugal supercharger with tunable boost
* NOS done properly, not Need For Speed
* Trans brake
* Chassis upgrades like full back half cars and tube chassis
* Wheelie Bars
* Body mods, more selections and customizable

* These type of things for each type of racing. It's been pretty much the same upgrades and PI system for a long time and it's due for an overhaul. I'd much rather have programmable fuel and boost management than a new wheelspin/perk system. But that's just me.

Car Shows/ Cars Meets

* Back to the drive up/drive to theme, have car meets or shows be another interactive, real time event and not a stagnant menu to sit in and wait. Make it a parking lot or warehouse that has a cool vibe to it. Maybe a few different spots with different personalities.

For me, what I want to see, what would make the perfect game, would be to take what has already been done and only work on giving Forza it's soul back. Make it personal again. There's enough "stuff" in the game, to me.

Personally i agree with all of it especially the customization part.

it seems like i have 12 of the same cars in my garage which means that if i had more customization i would have no similar looking cars
