While we can turn it off while driving (d-pad right) and while in the menus (I have radio volume at 1 and can't hear it) , it would be nice to not hear it when races are loading.

Can't comment on PvP as that's not really my thing, so what I'd like to see:

- Ability to apply special colors to vinyls so we can make, say, stainless steel stripes on a matte car body. (Guessing it's a coding thing with how the body is rendered, but thought I'd ask. 😊)

- A few "regular" race tracks mixed in, like smaller, local tracks you often see -- dirt, short road courses, etc.

- FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CAN WE GET A REGULAR COUNTDOWN RATHER THAN AN INSTANT "READYGO!"?!?!?!

I've played around 30 hours by now, grinding some cars before get into the pvp to only then find out the mess up that MP is.

- Why remove the old (fh3) online adventure mode? Can we have it back?
In my opinion the fh3 score based races was one of the smartes things i've ever seen in a race game. It was fair to those who dont own the best cars and most important motivates people to race clean to get those extra points. The score system also helps to make it even to those use asistence vs those who dont.

- Why remove the online voting system? (this makes no sense)

I would like the old system back, actually i would like to have an evolved version of the old system with improvments such as the ability to look for races that are only RWD for example, but by now if the old system get back would be enough.

I have 2 months of xbox game pass yet and by the end i would have bought the game but since the late game is all about a decent MP i'm not buying the game until theres a some signal that some major improvments are coming in that direction.

(i know that are tons o coments similar to mine, but here it is Turn10 and Playground, another one!)
(there are other things to add to the wish list, but this is the most important and urgent!)

I'd like if the player ghosting was less visually apparent.

When l do forzathons or just cruise freeroam a lot of other players are gray see-through cars soon as l get even near them. It really kills the togetherness vibe for me.
I feel they should turn into ghosts only almost on contact.

And no, convoying with all random players l come across is not a possibility plus it would turn collisions back on.

Please fix multiplayer for FH4.
I like the 3 events separated by freeroam rush events. The "team" format encourages dirty driving. At a time when Turn10 is developing FRR to clean up dirty racing, , playground comes out with the new game that is all "team" format is discouraging. It should be individual results.
Also, there needs to be a choice at the end of each championship. Something like FH2: B Class off road, A Class mixed surface, S1 road racing and so on. I hate the "here it is, take it or leave it", system you have in place now.

This is supposed to be a driving / racing game. How come there isn't a single driving suit in the "customize character" section? You included everything to make your character look utterly ridiculous. However, I'm an adult, and would appreciate if you added a few driver suits to choose from.

iam gonna start off with this game as very gorgeous graphics!

something I notice when I first started is that I can't sell cars form the garage, I can only sell them in auction house. now I get what your tying to do! allow the community to build the market! but this would have been better if there was a bigger range of cars. about 700+ cars to start with! even with all the DLC cars to come, if you factor in the 450+ cars now you still probably be under 650 cars still! The barn finds was not what I was expecting, 1983 Audi Sport Quattro, 1986 Ford Escort RS Turbo, 1997 Lotus Elise GT1, 1998 Subaru Impreza 22B STI, 1998 TVR Cerbera Speed 12, 1993 Jaguar XJ220 are all not that great of barn finds.... anything beyond 1971 is **** ! and I still need to unlock the last four cars. this as been an problem in Forza 7 and as still NOT been fix...ironic how the same 2017 Ram 2500 Power Wagon as the same problem with is front wheels in Forza 7...they barley have any turing movement at all!!

I am personally not very much into the clothing, the emotes, or the horns! I could care very much less for them... something that bugs me is the driving in the snow! none of these supercars or hyper cars would be able to go through 6 inches of snow they get stuck about 6ft in. and the snow isn't even that slippery.... I can corner in a 2018 McLaren Senna at around 80-97 mph! luckily were talking about a game.. cuz that car would have gone off road into a tree!! something I like to see changed is the rain effect on the windshield, like to see Forza Horizon 2 rain effect on the windshield would be better or even Forza 6. The rain effect doesn't look natural. also making it so that the snow sticks to the car. off road tired tread be imprinted to the dirt or snow would be cool cuz seeing a street tire while I am using an off-road tire looks really stupid.


I just thought of something adding the Fully opened Top Gear track to Forza Horizon 4 would be awesome! the Location is right so I don't think Top Gear would mind....I actually think they like that idea! Rimac's Concept One car would be cool to add!

2: Street Port (Upgrade 1): Slightly enlarged intake (and sometimes exhaust) ports allow the rotary engine to breathe better. Higher power is possible, but slightly less torque and power are made at lower engine speeds, resulting in a moderately more "peaky" power curve. This porting type is the first that causes rotaries to exhibit their famous rough idle - the "braap-braap" sound.

3: Extended Port (Upgrade 2): The middle ground between drive ability and power. The ports are enlarged noticeably over that of a Street Port. Yet more air and fuel can enter the engine, but the "overlap" between the intake and exhaust ports are such that the engine now "braaps" louder at idle. The "peaky" power curve is now even more pronounced over the street port, with more high-end power potential but at the cost of a noticeable loss in power and torque at low RPM, which now begins to hinder low speed driveability.

4: Bridge Port (Upgrade 3): This is where the fun starts. The famous "Bridge" Port gets it's name from the "Bridge" of iron of the rotor housing that's left in place to keep the rotor's side seals in place, while the port is extended well beyond normal sizes. Even more air and fuel can enter the engine, meaning that even more high-end power can be developed - but at a price. Low end performance is now poor, with the engine developing a properly "peaky" powerband. Often, the engine's redline raised slightly as to more effectively utilize said "peaky" powerband. The "braaping" rough idle is now violent - violent enough, in some cases, to warrant raising the idle speed to 1500 RPM to avoid the engine stalling.

5: J-Port/Monster Port (Upgrade 4): For racing applications that don't allow peripheral porting (we'll get onto that in a second). This is, effectively, a bridge port on steroids. The engine is now pretty monstrous. Idle is now sitting pretty at 2000 RPM and the "braaping" is violent enough to rock the car in the direction the engine is spinning at idle. Low end power and torque are all but gone, sacrificed to the rotary gods in a bid to create even more high end power at a much higher redline. Peak power potential is now much greater, with 13B J-Ported engines seeing well over 600HP IRL, with redlines touching 10,000 RPM.

6: Peripheral Port (Upgrade 5): Say goodbye to the old ports, cast into the irons by the OEM. They're too small for what you have in mind. You're power mad! Mwahahaha! Redline, peak power and endless jets of fire from the exhaust are your life now! Instead, you cut whacking great big holes into the housings themselves as to allow the engine to breathe as best it can. The engine will now lose lots of compression at low engine speeds as to shoot back through the intake. Idles below 2000 RPM are impossible. As it is, the engine is barely able to idle at 2000 and it's braaping hard and loud enough as to set car alarms off a couple blocks away. Below 8000 RPM, there is nothing. The engine's low speed performance is pitiful. Citroen 2CV's have more power than you below that engine speed. Beyond 8000 RPM however, all hell breaks loose. With a minuscule and extremely peaky powerband, you're shifting all the time between 9,500 and 11,000 RPM! The peaky-ness has reached it's peak. Peak power on 2-rotor 13B engines can far exceed 900 HP IRL.

And there you have it. Rotary porting broken down and my proposals for what the upgrades should be, should this ever find it's way into a developer's hands.

Hopefully this will find it's way into the hands of one of the fantastic developers over there at Playground or T10. I'd love to see it and I'd imagine that all other rotary aficionados would as well.

Just a small request, when you use manual gear change and drive slow the game second guesses you and puts it into first gear for you. Really annoying. I always wind up reversing when I want first or second gear. Please change.

A cursory search on the internet will bring up all sorts of "issues" posts when it comes to Racing Wheel usage in Forza Horizon 4; and regardless of the content of the post it all seems to be due to one issue that Turn10 has only made clear within its "Wheel Setup & Tuning" page.

Here's the paragraph that answers most of the issues surrounding Forza Horizon 4 and Wheel Support:

Simulation Steering turns these systems off. The input layers of these systems are turned off any time you use a wheel, regardless of the steering setting.


This means, quite frankly... if you're playing with a controller, your car flat out handles BETTER.

If you're playing with a controller and you're on a street race, in a 200mph supercar... and your wheel grazes the dirt edge of the track, the car will laugh it off, you won't lose your steering line and you will be right as rain when you're back on asphalt.

However, if you're on a wheel... no matter what settings you use, Normal or Simulation, no matter what tweaks you can do to your tuning, no matter what FFB settings, no matter what you do in your wheel's control panel (on PC), that touch of dirt will result, 100% in at LEAST a rewind, as your car will go careening and spinning out of control...

... you know, like a real car would.

So the real question is: is this good?

The day will grow long and dark before you will get sim-racers and arcade-racers to agree on which is "better..." but the real issue, is that Forza Horizon 4 removes the "choice" of the matter. Again...

The real key here is the phrase "regardless of the steering setting."

Bottom line: If you use a wheel, you are playing a driving simulation, and not a "video game" anymore. There's no option for all those "multiple systems layered together" to give your racing wheel the same handling benefits as controllers. None. Wheel = Spinnaroony unless you're the most seasoned of seasoned sim-racers. This gives a definite tier-advantage to expert controller users over expert sim-racers... and gives a HUGE deficit to casual wheel users over casual controller users.

What I want:

An "arcade" setting for the wheel. Something that gives the same stability and traction/recovery benefits as the "Normal" gamepad setting, but usable with the wheel. This would let causal/arcade players like myself enjoy Forza Horizon 4 on a whole greater level.

Removed Aston Martin DB10 from incorrect/bad sounds list on page 20. The sound for this car has been patched and now it has the sound of V8, like the actual car. I hope more sounds will get fixed!

To keep it on topic, I also would like to see Rivals mode improved as many people want.

In offline mode, all Drivatars have Level 1 and all drivatar level caps are grey colored.

In FH3 all drivatars were colored depending on which level you have in real.

The designs in offline mode are also not displayed by the creators.

Why are the colored levels above the cars taken over by FH3?

This little feature would give us even more festival feeling.

I do not understand that so many other players notice it. Does not it bother when all Drivatars in Offline Mode Level 1 and then all in gray colour?

PLEASE add in Offline mode fully colored Level caps over the cars like FH3!!!!!

Please add the option to change decal material tyoes, this is such a basic feature that honestly shiuld be a part of such a detailed and well designed editor.

So many cars hsve matte/chrome decals and strips on them, having decals whos material is only cjanged by thr base paint it inherits is in my mind, a massive dissapointment.

Games like Need for Speed, with a much more stripped down editor allow players to use sliders to edit the glossiness and reflectivity of each individual decal, I am dumbfounded as to why Forza does not have this option.

Please add this in an update, I would like a reason to design wraps again.

Can you PLEASE add separate FFB slider for off-road/gravel road roughness?

I can get very very nice FFB in Forza Horizon. By using Damper 0% and Minimum Forces 100%. This gets rid of the center deadzone, and gives very good detail of what car is doing. Very enjoyable to drive on asphalt roads.

But this results in a bit too harsh feedback on gravel roads and cross country. Could there be separate slider?

So ones who like a immediate, sharp feedback with no center deadzone, could make the gravel driving a bit smoother. Then the FFB would be perfect for game like this. But game has lot of off-road driving, too strong feedback can get a bit tiring. But it's necessary to have strong, to get best feeling on asphalted roads. Slider would be perfect solution

I believe most of the ranked team adventure issues have been mentioned here, but I'm not sure, if this one is:

More lower class races (A class and below). Currently it's just S2 and S1, rarely A class and never below that.

- Allow player to freely walk around the houses you own with a first person view. Could be very relaxing looking at the lake and landscape while the sun set and would make houses a bit more "friendly".
Because for now, they are just buildings that gives perks, very impersonal.

Adding this would be very easy to do and will add a bit more roleplay.

I would love a turbo 5cylinder inline engine swap on the Volvo 242.
I drive a 240 with a Volvo 850 turbo five engine in real life and they are common in Sweden.

Please remove clothing items, horns and dances that we've already gotten from our future wheel spins.
They kind of feel like a big middle finger when you land on your third pair of tropical leggings, especially when you spent forzathon points to get the wheelspin.
At least 1000 credits is enough for a flywheel upgrade or something.

higher taxes in auction house, so the pieces of cake (u know what i mean) who are using friends (or 2nd account) to "save" their auctions that are going "not so well as they wanted" will stop.
worst auction system ever seen in online games, slow, long loading time between pages, and too low taxes that permit people to "cheat"
(if their car is going to 250k with buyout at 1 mil and only 5 min to end, a friend will buy the car and put the car again in auction)
clap clap clap, congrats for the high IQ used to create a so awful system.

with whellspins so "based on low luck" (i only find cosmetics) and rich cheaters who abused glitches and are dominating auction house...

i think i won't renew gamepass till you fix at least the auction house, the game is already not so funny after a week for many reasons, and with the auction house in that condition i'm not interested in "pay to not have fun"

Have a way for civic leader to set a way point or marker on the map for everyone in the convoy.

We were doing danger zone jumps and it’s more of a challenge to communicate which one to go to next than it should be.
