Where do you think Forza Horizon 4 will take place?

My guess is somewhere in Asia - likely Japan. Horizon 1 was USA, 2 was Europe (Italy), and 3 is Australia. US, Europe, and Australia all have strong car cultures and those games had a collection of cars unique to those areas. Those locations also have a good variety of street and off road areas. Japan has a strong car culture and lots of country to drive around in. This isn't a wishlist / hope - I mean, I don't really care if it's Japan or not, I just feel like it's Asia's turn and there are a ton of weird / obscure little Japanese cars they could put in.

There was a leak/error years ago on Xbox.com saying that Horizon would come to Australia and California.

Funnily enough, half of it ultimately came true in Horizon 3. Maybe the rest will come true in Horizon 4?

It's a little early but I can see multiple countries in Horizon 4. I was really hoping for Japan in 3 though.

The first expansion pack will be an area with bad weather and the second will be a load of Porsches....? ;) :)

It's not a Question of whether the Glass is 1/2 Full or 1/2 Empty - A man dying of thirst would be happy to get his hands on either...

They should move back to the City/State motif of Horizon 2, just as they crafted Australia after Horizon 1. If they do move back to the USA, which would be great, they should concentrate on about 4 to 5 states in the South West of California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona with road trips etc. Among those four states there are enough driving roads and scenery to die for: from the Grand Canyon to San Francisco, Carson City, Tempe...oh my - that would be epic.

The could have done the same with Australia by including Sydney and Melbourne but they didn't, hopefully because they had already started work on the grand vision of the South West USA that will be Forza Horizon 4 !!!!

It'll be hosted in one country or on the border of two countries.

There will be a supercar or hypercar on the cover.

It will come out in Fall 2018 on Xbox and PC.

It will cost $60, with a Deluxe Edition of $80 and an Ultimate Edition of $100 (substitute whatever currency you use if needed)

There will be some sort of freebie pack thrown in with pre-orders.

There will be Speed Traps, Speed Zones, Danger Signs, Drift Zones, Barn Finds, Bucket List events, and Bonus Boards to find.

~85-90% of the cars from FM7 will be in the game.

Anyone want to borrow my crystal ball?

^^ Perfect description.

The only thing you left out is:
It will be accompanied by a lot of complaining about every aspect of the game. (lol)

It will also come with 2 passes, one Car Pass, and one Expansion pass. Neither of which will actually cover all the DLC.

That would be cool.

I hope some day there's a game that includes Kansas City... even The Crew - which has the entire US - left it out. They had St. Louis... then it went straight to the plains (KS / eastern Colorado) and then the mountains.... bummer for sure.

I also went up to where I used to live on the tip of Lake Superior - biggest freshwater port in the US, and it was just a random forest...

I was just thinking Japan would be something different. The west / southwest would be cool (and could also include that Japanese car influence if it had a section like LA), but the desert stuff would be pretty close to Horizon 1, I feel.

I'd love to go back to Europe. America would be okay too. I dont need more Cars. But some other Cars which probably have never been in a racing game.

i want a cinematic intro like always

i want a starting scene with the next Lambo cruising down a beautiful highway with 200 KM/H and "Against the Current - Runaway" in Horizon Pulse.

Im sure Turn10 will know how to generate that Summer-goosebump-feeling of Horizon again.

It would have variety in terrain, have a snow area, involve music culture and be a place that isn't usually chosen in video games so New Zealand it is.

With the leak last where it said Horizon going through Australia and California I'm really hoping for California especially since it seems like a good chance but could also be Japan. See the FH4 Features Wish List for my post about what I want in California locationwise and feature wise. Thanks

main reason i think NZ would be a good location because 1. 2018 will be the 20th anniversary of the end of our car assembly industry (like how 2016 was the start of the end of Australian car manufacturing) 2. land variety and beautiful scenery and a pretty big car scene for a small country 3. its something fresh and unexpected.

True, was going by the month too though, so if you wanted to be nitpicky it'd be 5 years 8 months ago
