Forza Motorsport 7 Track Wish Lists

Disclaimer: This thread exists to keep wishlists in one place and to monitor user interest. This thread is not an automatic determinant of which tracks the developers may choose (or be able) to add to a game either at launch or as an add-on.

Thread format
  • Using standardized names and list format will help for counting frequently named tracks. I've listed common names below.
  • List instead of paragraphs (one location per line, bullet points and dashes are not necessary). Place descriptive notes below your list.
  • Location name alone is usually enough ("Daytona" covers both oval and infield courses), clarify when necessary (street circuit vs permanent course).
  • See some examples of nonspecific track types below ("More Japanese tracks" etc).
  • Don't double-post lists; if expanding your list later, post new names alone or quote your previous post in this thread and put the additional list underneath it.
  • Don't +1 other posts. Remove quote box code if copying someone else's list as your own submission.
  • Don't debate another user's list or logic; own wish list is the counterpoint. (one user, one vote)
  • Use common sense about the length of your list; while you can use this as a place to save your perfect game list, remember that Forza games have not had more than a few dozen locations. The more focused your wish list, the clearer the community's interests will be.

Users may hear of news reports about tracks being scanned which may lead to speculation that they will be in the next game, but this hasn't always panned out. Turn 10's pattern has been to only reveal tracks when they are ready to be added, so we won't have a reliable answer to questions like "Does anybody know if [track name] will be in the game?" unless there's an official announcement.

Racingcircuits.info is a great resource for tracks around the world, with lengths, course names, and history. I put together this online map showing major racing circuit locations with icons denoting different series that can be filtered (may be incomplete - message me with suggestions). See also the 2017 Racing Calendar thread in the General Automotive forum for current tracks in use this season.

Examples of non-specific track types

Fujime Kaido!

And I'd love to see the EbolaDrome make its debut in a racing game.

Also a new test track area, this one could do with a refresh now.

Good to see my requested tracks in the list, but here it is again

These are tracks I'd like to see in FM7. I admittedly know far more about racing and tracks in North America than the rest of the world. Some of these are to go with features and cars I'd like to see in the future. And some historic versions of tracks would be great, too.

North American tracks
Current tracks in game:
Laguna Seca
Sonoma Raceway
Long Beach
Road America
Indianapolis
Lime Rock Park
Watkins Glen
Road Atlanta
VIR
Daytona
Sebring
Homestead

New tracks:
Barber
Mid-Ohio
Mosport
Mont-Tremblant (if I may be so bold as to ask for two CDN tracks)
Another street course or two (St. Petersburg, Belle Island, or Toronto?)
A short oval like Bristol
Pocono
maybe another 1 mile oval, like Phoenix, perhaps?
There's a lot of great tracks in the US. Miller, Thunderhill, Willow Springs, Pacific Raceways,we could go on but any of these would be great.

European/British tracks
Tracks in game:
Brands Hatch
Silverstone
Catalunya
Hockenheimring
Nurburgring
Le Mans
Monza
Spa
Top Gear track (use it as a replacement for Airfield track)

New tracks:
Donington
Oulton Park
Goodwood circuit (not the hillclimb)
Imola
Mugello
Monaco (apparently I'm a masochist of some sort)

Australia
Track in game:
Bathurst

New tracks:
Phillip Island
Surfer's Paradise

Japanese tracks
Suzuka
Twin Ring Motegi
Autopolis

New environments:
This game really is about car culture, and three very big and somewhat under-represented parts of that culture deserve a place, too. The ones I'm thinking of are land speed record cars, drag racing cars, and drift cars
It would be nice to see some different environments for these cars, such as:
Bonnevile Salt Flats or El Mirage Dry Lake bed
Some dedicated drift circuits for the drifters. Never going to "get" drifting, but it is apparently a thing with the kids these day. Fujumi could make a return here, just please don't make us race on it, Rio and Prague could be turned to drift circuits maybe?
Some of the more famed and historic dragstrips. Like Pomona, Gainseville, Englishtown, and of course the strips that exist with other in-game tracks, like Indy and Sonoma (which is of course already in-game).

I just want "my second home", my closest race track in the game being Sydney Motorsport Park in the game. The main track i'd be cutting in laps. There are plenty of layouts, including the extension that adds an extra kilometre.

My only "wish" is that all tracks are either included at launch or provided via free updates later on.

Forza Motorsport 5 did this, but Forza Motorsport 6 locked its post-release circuits behind a paywall, which severely impacted how often they could be used by people in Multiplayer and Rivals.

As for specific circuit additions, I'm generally quite happy with what circuits are included in a Forza title, it's just their widespread availability that I am concerned about.

Here's what I would really like to see:

Circuit Tracks:

Suzuka
Mugello

Only two added to the current list...that's not too much to ask, is it? :-)

Drag Racing:

Let's get some real support for the drags...working Christmas tree, timing, etc. Any tracks would be fine, but let's get this working please!!!

Thanks!

So many tracks... Too many to list, too many to name, and so many names I just don't know at all...

Definitely would like to have Suzuka +variations on it (East and West, as previously), Motegi (speedway and in/outfield road course variations, as previously), as well as Mugello +variations on it as before... Those are really important to me. Negotiate if need be. Hell, make it clear to whoever owns the tracks that doing exclusive contracts is not especially great...! The more games their track appears in, the more exposure it gets, the more fans will come and actually watch races there, because the more people will know about the place! Also, the more fans will be drawn into motorsports in the desire of actually going 'round their tracks, fueling the sport with fresh blood...

Need DTM-specific tracks/variations, F1-specific track/variations, Indy and NASCAR tracks/variations, other Japanese GT tracks/variations to go along with Suzuka... Tracks/variations appropriate for the Super/Euro Trucks, too. Of course, we'll need full fields of applicable vehicles for these locations, but that's for another time/place...

Would be nice to include old and new variations of some tracks, too. Silverstone, for instance. I hate the new Silverstone, but loved the old layout/build... All the information and details should be kicking about, and it is a video game, so there isn't any reasonable explanation for why there can't be old and new versions of tracks. Speaking of old and new, I think it was Monza that had a huge banked turn way back when, for one route? Would be absolutely amazing to have that, and other 1930~1960 variations of a couple of tracks, if we're going to have some 1930~1960 GP/Formula machines, CAN-AM machines, classic sport/LM/GT machines...

I'd like to see new fantasy tracks. Anything for a change. I find real world tracks tend to be a bit dull, especially those that have been in countless other games before.
