Car Horns in Forza Horizon 3


FH3 players have a variety of car horn options which can be found in the Garage at any Festival Site:



Some horn options will be locked at the beginning of the game. Most can be unlocked with the Horn Import and Rare Horn Import perks in the Skill Shop. A handful of horns can only be unlocked through designated Forzathon events or with the $2.99 DLC Horn Unlock Accelerator.

Horns can be changed an unlimited number of times but the current horn applies to all cars. Press or hold down the right stick on the controller to use the horn while driving. See this discussion thread on using the horn with wheels.

Does anyone know if the unlockable Comedy Horn Pack and Halo Horns from recent Forzathons are accessible via skill points or anything else? Because if they aren't I don't wanna go through the trouble of getting those Halo horns when I already have the Warthog, if the horns can be found elsewhere.

I complete the game but still dont have Halo themed Horns and few others (maybe from first forzathon). Anybody can help?

The ones you don't have are Forzathon rewards. Buy the Horn Accelerator to get them now if you don't want to wait for them to come back around.

I am very glad that they finally added car horns in to Horizon. I believe they should add Jeremy Clarkson quotes for car horns. That would absolutely make my day.

Hey all,

I have the ultimate version, purchased every other addons including the horns which should have been part of the ultimate version. But it's cheap enough.

Not once I heard horn sound in the game. I have the top Xbox controller right now but I don't know where to access the sound.

I need help. Thanks

I believe you honk by clicking in one of the joysticks. I could've sworn there was a controller map somewhere in the options with the info.

I completed the game, got all the cars (except for the Mini Cooper HE), completed every Forzathon up to now, still I'm missing the Tooter and Cash Register horns. Any idea about what I am supposed to do to unlock those?

Tooter was from a forzathon though according to the first post in this thread

Both might be available through upcoming #Forzathons (from november 2017 +++) but are not announced yet.


ManteoMax's list also might be incorrect. The 'Tooter' horn wasn't available in any Forzathon yet, and it's not listed in the upcoming till beginning of november 2017.

Thank you for the info, if it's going to be in a Forzathon I'll get it for sure.

About the Cash Register horn, I thought it might be related to the game currency or the auction house, but nevermind, I'm not going to buy the horn unlock for just a missing one.
