Just get out no body got time for your lack of mind.. No ONE is getting a locked FPS of 60 at 1080p with high end graphic cards (titans and 1080's) so please tell me how you think your getting a solid 60fps "all the time" on 1440p with a dang 980.... gtfo

I7 4790K
Strix OC gtx980ti
Samsung 850 evo SSD
32GB DDR3

I last about 5 minutes before CTD. Runs good for the 5 minutes though. With so many decent rigs not able to run this I have to ask, was this game even tested before release?

CPU - i7 6700 @ 4.0GHz
GPU - NVIDIA GTX 980Ti or GTX 1080 | AMD R9 Fury X
VRAM - 6GB
RAM - 16GB
Hard Drive Type - SSD
Hard Disk Space - 55 GB

You have to be joking

i barely get 30fps let alone stable fps or game performance at all.

what a joke of a port.

Since when have ideal specs for a driving game meant 30fps?

Where was it made clear at the time of purchase from the MS store, that these recommended specifications would only result in a target of 30fps? I didn't see that message.

Previous Forza titles have been marketed as running at 60fps, falling short of these standards in a sequel without communicating this information feels misleading, regardless of the platform.

On these specs I can run Ultra settings at 30fps, but cannot get a stable 60fps even with the preset set to low!

CPU - AMD 9590 @ 4.7GHz
GPU - NVIDIA GTX 1070
VRAM - 8GB
RAM - 16GB
Hard Drive Type - SSD
Hard Disk Space - 80 GB
Resolution - 1920 x 1080
Windows Version - Windows Anniversary Edition 64-bit 14393.187

CPU Core 0 is permanently maxed out while the graphics card is only being utilised 50%, there is clearly an issue with the optimisation of the game and it's not right that you are selling a faulty product.

I run essentially that except my 6700k is at 4.5ghz and i have 32gb of ram, i run 1080 resolution locked at 72 fps and it doesnt drop at all. performs like a dream.

I get a stable 60fps (locked) on 1080p without any hitching on full ultra (except with MSAA off)

I5 6600K 3.5 (not OC'd)
16 GB DDR4 RAM
GTX 980 STRIX (not OC'd)

I think I'm just very lucky (?!) and it shows just how much of a mess has been made with this port when my specs can produce solid performance and those with twice the power cannot.
Luck shouldn't even be a factor here...

The game is running great on my system with the default Medium preset and FPS locked to 30, all other settings on Dynamic. It will run at 60 fps very well but actually looks better at 30. I unlocked the framerate just to see what it would be and I get a low of 55 and a high of 75. I see no need to mess around with any settings since it's so smooth now and looks extremely good.

By the way, AMD gives the FX 6300 as the minimum CPU needed and that's what I have. The only problem I have had was a couple of low memory warnings and crashes. I upped my page file from 4GB to 5 and that problem is fixed.

I am not satisfied with the initial load up time though. It's all of 8 minutes for me until I can actually do anything.

I didn't even install the newest video driver either. I'm still using 16.9.1 Crimson. I forgot to get the update and now I see no reason to.
CPU - AMD FX 6300 @ 3.5ghz
GPU - Sapphire Nitro+ RX 470 w/4gb VRAM
RAM - 16GB DDR3-1333
SSD - 1 TB Samsung 860 QVO

Hi. My specs are:

CPU - i7 4820 @ 3.7GHz
GPU - NVIDIA GTX 980Ti
VRAM - 6GB
RAM - 12GB
Hard Drive Type - SSD
Hard Disk Space - 55 GB

I also have a GTX 980 16GB ram an i7-4970k but I cannot make it run smoothly. It will launch the game perfectly and run it stable until some change in the game being it starting a race or the weather changing or even going into festival menus or any menu in general. I am also experiencing the big laggy delays in the tuning menus. I am running the game on the high preset when i should actually be running it on ultra with no problems. Please fix these issues! And microsoft please let us have more control over the game files!! I cannot check them to see if there is something wrong and it forces people to install in the C drive. :(

When I downloaded it, it seemed to be a 49GB download. I'm not sure what else it pulls down off the network, maybe extra cars and such depending on which edition you got. I haven't checked the size on disk yet, but they do recommend at least 60GB free, maybe for expansions later.

Games can't really be that much bigger than a Blu-ray, though the PC version in this case seems to be just on the money.

My specs:
i5 2400
8GB 1333 RAM
GTX 970
Win 10 anniversary
updated GPU drivers post-install

So I'm between minimum and recommended it seems. Anyways, I am able to average 45fps on 1080p, High. But it stutters like all hell. So tired of the stuttering, so I just run it on 1366x768, lowest everything, MSAA FSAA all off. Works ok for about 30min, then starts going nuts again (yes even on lowest possible settings). The upgrade menus are especially notorious, taking up to 5 seconds to preview each rim and performance upgrade.

My rig may not be stellar, but it plays Witcher 3 on 1080p with High settings all round, pretty stable. Anyway I don't even care if I can't have the game looking super pretty, as I don't own an Xbox one, just want it to be consistent without the stutters and input lag.

AMD FX 8350 - 4.2 Ghz
Radeon HD 7970 Ghz Edition
8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz
1080p

Game runs terribly. With all settings on LOW and the frame rate set to 60 it hovers around 40-55 and drops down into the mid 30's at points.
With the 30 fps cap on I can turn up the settings pretty high and get a stable 30, however, there are these awful stutters where the game just freezes up for half a second.
Also, the event racing the train, when ever the train was in view the frame rate seemed to lock at 19 fps :\

Really couldn't be bothered to mess around with the settings anymore, disappointing when the Xbox One runs it much better.

It runs a fairly stable 30 FPS at 1440p Ultra (high textures 2X MSAA) on a GTX 980 SC... On some occasions though it has a tendency to randomly drop 10 frames. However it happens very rarely...
With framerate smoothing on, the game also runs alot better when using an unlocked framerate.
Still, you feel some dips but it feels like the game actually quickly gathers some faster frames and sowise tries to even out the dips... As for now, it is still much better to run at a locked 30 fps with some dip(s) occuring about once per 20-30 minutes.
I would also advise anyone with 4 GB VRAM to lower texture settings to high, as the game makes use of more than 5 GB when using Ultra textures...

It runs "meh" for me as well.

60 FPS for maybe 50% of the time, the rest stutters around 45-50 FPS on high(but the FPS won't change, no matter what setting) on 1080p.

Specs:

i7 6700k @ 4.4GHz
GTX 1080 OC
16 GB DDR4 RAM
Samsung SSD

I've had the game go through 2 complete swings in performance now. Usually as an overclocker and somebody who casually benchmarks on HWBot I can provide insight but here I cannot so I'll just describe how things went. I have a 4.7Ghz 3570K and an R9 290....on Early Access release I grabbed the proper drivers. At first the game ran awesome at 2560x1440 with a mixture of high and ultra settings, dynamic settings were off, MSAA was off as was framerate smoothing. I was getting 55FPS in parts of Byron Bay and on the avenue in Surfers Paradise by the tram stops and a solid 60FPS everywhere else with the game capped at 60FPS.....I uncapped it once and was running at 160FPS just leaving the outback festival but it was stuttering so the cap went back on and all was well...I was confused by the complaints of poor performance at this point.

A week and 2500miles of driving later I started to notice poor performance, at first I wondered if I'd missed it earlier because I was playing with friends. Sometimes I'd start the game and get 60FPS, sometimes 30FPS or less in the same spot. After that it just started running poorly all the time. As I've said I benchmark and this means I'm fairly stringent, there is no AV, no software firewall, no background applications, no updates going on...I benchmarked and stress tested my OC and everything is normal.

So yesterday I started to move settings around, the different between 1920x1080 at low settings and 2560x1440 and high/ultra settings in the heart of Surfers Paradise was just 15FPS(from 25->40). Then one restart it started to run awesome again, I turned it all back up and played for hours flawlessly(2560x1440, Ultra Shadows/Reflections/Textures, Medium Scenery/Other Cars). 55-60FPS in Surfer's Paradise and 60FPS solid everywhere else. Turned on the game today and it's back to being complete **** , even on low it's back to 25FPS in Surfer's Paradise.

I'm new to these forums so I won't share the imgur link just in case but I snapped a cellphone pick of the screen downtown last night at 60FPS and today at 30FPS....unfortunately game weather is cloudy in one and sun in the other but my issues aren't weather related. I just wish I knew more about the issue! GPU use is at 100%, it's not a processor bottleneck....gotta be the game or drivers? Either way I've seen amazing performance on my machine so I know it is possible to make this work.

It is 100% a CPU utilization issue. I could understand this if it was a DX11 game, but it's not. There was times, before the patch, I'd turn all my settings to low and get 70-90 FPS but the game looked terrible so I just maxed everything and played it unlocked because the stutters were somewhat minimal outside of cities. I've never been able to get that high FPS on low settings like I did at first, not sure what happened.

I'd be a happy customer if I could just lock it at 60 FPS, 30 FPS has crazy input lag and makes it really hard to race to the best of my ability.

Now, after the update, the performance has been worse than ever.
