Hi everyone,

We're aware of an issue with an issue with today's Porsche Car Pack for FH3. This issue is affecting Xbox One players; in-game players will see a "Marketplace Error" screen when attempting to purchase the pack. In the Xbox Store, players can purchase the pack, but will be unable to install the pack.

This is a known issue and the team is busy working to resolve it as soon as possible. We will update this thread as soon as we have more information to share.

Per the announcement in the Xbox Support forum, this content update fixes a previous issue with Barn Find rumors not appearing for some players.

Observed changes:
20 wheels from Borbet, Boyd Coddington, Brabus, Dub, Dymag, Halibrand, Holeshot, iForged, Konig, Mickey Thomson, RO_JA
1 new Barn Find slot in the menu.
Porsche added as a new manufacturer - now 91 total.
The 2012 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 engine (493hp "4.0 F6") is a swap option for some other Porsches.
12 cars added to menus and Horizon Promo - there are now 503 total.

We are aware of this issue and investigating. If you experience crashes or indefinite loading screens trying to load up Blizzard Mountain after installing the Hot Wheels Expansion then please let us know your gamertag in this thread.

We are aware of the problem and have a fix prepared. We are working to release this fix as soon as possible.

We are aware of an issue affecting Forza Horizon 3: Hot Wheels, where PC players cannot play or travel to Blizzard Mountain since the Hot Wheels update. This issue is surfacing for players who have purchased the Expansion Pass but does not seem to be affecting players who purchased both expansions separately.

We are working with the Xbox Store to try and remedy this situation but there currently is no ETA on when the fix will arrive. In the meantime, there is a workaround that may be successful for affected PC players who own the expansion pass but are unable to launch the game because their previous save was from Blizzard Mountain. Until the issue is resolved, we recommend temporarily uninstalling Blizzard Mountain. Doing this will spawn the player back on the main map of Australia, where they can continue to play and access the Hot Wheels expansion.

For PC players who own the Expansion Pass and who want to play Blizzard Mountain, but are getting an “infinite load” when trying to travel, we advise temporarily uninstalling the Hot Wheels expansion. This will allow players to play the main game and access Blizzard Mountain content.

In both cases, once the issue is resolves, players will be able to reinstall the expansion content and will be able to access both sets of content as expected. We’d like to apologize for this inconvenience and will keep the community updated on the latest on this issue here in the Week in Review and in the Forza Forums.

An update on the issue where PC players are not able to play or travel to Blizzard Mountain since the release of the Hot Wheels update. The good news our friends at the Xbox Store have a fix on the way for this issue, although we don’t currently have an ETA for when it will be released. While we have some known workarounds that can help, this fix should solve the issue for players and won’t require an extra download. Once the fix is released, we’ll update this story with the news.

Playground is aware of the problems with the Hilux such as not being able to tune springs and getting stuck in the ground easily. This was investigated and will be addressed in the next update.

You're right that we got the wrong engine sound wired up to the E49 (rumbling V8 instead of the spitting 4 liter 6-pack Hemi it's supposed to have), bit of a database foul up that we noticed too late to fix before release, but our intent is to address this in a future update.

Yes, the bug that causes aftermarket wheels to add 6000lbs to the Titan has been an issue since the truck was released with Blizzard Mountain, an unfortunate bug which we've known about, investigated, and have concluded will not be fixed. Sometimes the fix to a bug can lead to much larger problems than the original bug itself, and that's something we want to avoid. Such is the case with this bug.

Here's why:

Lowering the weight of the wheels will cause a big jump in PI of any tunes that don’t have stock rims. This causes a whole load of issues as the PI is only worked out when the car is loaded, so any that are in the garage when the update goes out won’t be updated, so they will be able to get into rivals etc. for the incorrect class via car reloading at the event signed up. This would effectively destroy leaderboards where it is used.

Likewise, all the shared tunes on the server will have incorrect PI, causing the same issues.

In short, the change will affect PI hugely (it jumps up a whole class on a fully upgraded Titan) but we can’t auto update all the Titans in the game to reflect this, causing a load of issues.

We are aware of an issue where a small number of Forza Horizon 3 players are unable to launch the game. This issue is related to a bug introduced with the latest update to the game. This bug affects two groups of players in slightly different ways.

• Players who had been in a Toyota Artic Hilux equipped with a drivetrain swap prior to Tuesday's update are not able to launch the game.

• Players who own the Hilux with the same swap upgrade but were "in" another car at the time of the update can launch the game but are not able to remove, select or do anything with the Hilux without crashing the game.

The team is busy working on a fix which we estimate will be rolled out at the end of next week at the earliest.
