Why is it when cars behind me (or even in front of me) quit out, I lose points? It would seem points for finishing position should be based on number of starters, not number of finishers. Way too may people quit out at the first sign of adversity, and it makes those of us who stick it out til the very end of the race, no matter the damage, end with very little in the way of points.

You should be getting points for people who quit. They made this change a few months back.

Edit:
I just finished 21/21, 22 people started. I got 300 points so you do get points for the quitters.

Yesterday I had a lobby where seven people quit out on the first lap, six of them behind me. I finished 12th, and got 100pts.
