I love everything about Forza Horizon, however the only thing I feel is lacking is a cinematic replay video after completing a race. In horizon 2 you can choose which camera angles to watch, but its not like Forza 6 where the camera will automatically change camera views. In horizon you can only see angles next to the car, nothing stationary as your car speeds buy, and I thought it would be great to get an updated replay system that showcases a race you completed in cinematic fashion.

Will there be a better replay system in this game?

Thank you

Drone Mode might be the answer, look for that thread.

The replay in itself won't be better. That im fairly really sure of. But with the drone you get to make your own videos. All tho I do believe it would be hard to use it during a race. Unless someone else films it

From what I was reading, Drone Mode is considered another camera option. So during the replay, you can choose the Drone as the camera, which should allow you to move the camera around. Hopefully it will also allow you to do the stationary angles that are in Motorsports but not Horizon.

If drone was stable then i would have been ok, but the drone moves a lot and the videos from it aren't steady.

I didnt see any drine mode option in the replays. It seems to be the same from horizon 2. The only one that slightly dies a good job is the last option. I dont remember what its called but you can choose that than hit the X button to change the distance or whatever. Its still car oriented though. Im not going to say im suprised that a track based camera system wasnt developed yet, but i think it wouldve been an addition by now.

I know they made some improvements, but a good 80-90% of the game is cut and paste from the last title. Drone mode is cool i guess but from what i can tell one person has to sacrifice driving a car to fly a drone around to capture what the others are doing with the game dvr feature.

Yeah, Drone mode is not in the replays at all

Oh well.

Can't save replays, can't watch other cars in replays, can't see telemetry in replays, can't get replays in Rivals, can't get Replays in MP.

Unfortunately watching other cars and "TV" camera angle is not FH3 and the reason is simple - open world. They didn't bother setting up camera locations. In circuit racing it's easy, but in FH3 they would have to spend time testing all camera to make sure they aren't blocked by trees and stuff.

Lack of telemetry and car switching is even simpler - having them would expose their terrible AI. You would see that AI's Reliants don't roll over at 2G corners or see that AI simply stops working when you are too far away (Goliath race).

It would be nice to save at least your races to watch them afterway or to do photos after a race.
