This for me is enough proof that future titles won't have the Fast & Furious cars anymore (which is a good choice, FH2 and FM6 is more than enough already). They probably started with the RS1600 F&F and turned it into the regular RS1600 (for Horizon 3). Would be nice if they did the same with the Plymouth Roadrunner and the Corvette C2 Grand Sport.

The unicorn car is the closest year/make/model to a car being raced in a real life racing series.

That's when unicorn cars are not just bad, but infuriating.

Yeah, and there was weeks worth of time to get it. Participate in the series and you got it. Even racing clean laps got you on. Just because some people are lazy and entitled doesn't mean the unicorns are bad.

In the instance you are referencing, you are correct. However, it was not always this way. In Forza 4, the unicorn cars were NOT handled in a manner that made them easy to acquire.

I also never stated that I feel unicorn cars are bad in principle. I'm explaining why they CAN be bad and your use of "lazy and entitled" is simply ridiculous as it has no bearing on this situation.

At least I have the Ferrari Can-Am car and the Chryslus.

Now that is actually an excellent idea I haven't heard before yet. And it would give some added value to being a VIP member because right now the only benefit is to have some extra cash in a game where cash is in abundance already. People who have a busy life and don't play the game daily/weekly or started playing later can easily grab VIP membership and buy the missed unicorns that way.

This is what is already added to the game but not possible to buy right now :

1970 Dom's charger
Classic Nissan Silvia
Ferrari 312 PB
1977 Aston V8
2015 Huracan
2008 Ferrari Cali
classic Ford RS1600

It's exactly 7 cars, perfect for a DLC pack. If they add this to the store I'd buy it instantly and then also the last 2 DLC packs because right now the collector in me lost interest to collect cars. And there isn't even one car in the Top Gear or Hot Wheels pack that I'd rather have than the Aston V8.

Until Turn 10 sorts out this mess, I'm happily playing Dirt Rally.

Know what?

That's an awesome pack (California excepted). That's a pack I'd gladly pay good money for, especially over this month's pack. (Thank you, what little Microsoft money I had left.)

As much as I wish they would finally get the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR into this game, I wish Turn 10 would just announce this pack and be done with it. Put this unicorn mess to bed once and for all.

Why are some of you moaning about Unicorns still!? The slang it's self gives them meaning, if they were just part of the DLC and you paid for them, then they wouldn't special and you wouldn't post a message about them. Turn10 Add them to the game to add a challenge for a game that's been out a while and keeps the consumers playing better to acquire them.

Unicorns are there for those people that like the challenge. They usually become available in the future to everyone anyway. I have only the one in my garage and I have nothing but respect for those who have earned theirs.

If you look, you'll also notice that the Ford Escort is in fact Right Hand Drive, making it either Australian, or from British colonies..... Not the US, as many other Fords have been deplicted. Such as the XA Ford Falcon GT, the other Escorts, the Capri etc etc.

Most of these cars are built, sold and designed in British countries. Just saying....it'd be great if things were shown as they should be.

I think most of Turn 10s attention is just on their new child in the family. Namely Apex, and the all new Forza title thet will be announced at E3. Be prepared for some interesting news come E3.....

It wasn't a question i was asking myself. Why are other people still moaning on this thread as well as the countless other previous posts?

Just look forward to the unique things that we get given and have a chance to win. There is really no benefit for you or the others moaning about the lack of information or it being "too difficult" a challenge.

This mark 1 Escort was never produced or sold in the USA so it's unsurprising that it isn't depicted as a USA model lol.

Indeed it's a European car, with most mk1s built in the U.K. Even today it is Ford's most successful ever model built outside the USA.

The U.K is where most of the culture/racing/performance and scene for it remains as you would imagine. It's probably unsurprising it's RHD then, it's likely where they sourced the car to model.

I've Joined the ESL as well as tried to register for the open series, and it keeps spitting me back to a Failed.

Any reason for this. No matter what rules I read, whatever league I try, it just says, nope...

Frustrated.

So basically, due to the high volumn of ppl entering the op n leagues, does that mean it has basically closed entry to Xbox live members.

As no matter how I try and join either league, it just says I don't pass the things required to register.

Even though I'm registered on ESL, and it signs me in every time without any hitches.

Can Max or Brian please explain.

The ESL sites not that user friendly either I might ad. Just an observation.

When you sign in click on "choose game" at the top of the screen. Choose forza. Then on the top of the screen click on "ESL Open" it will expand with the 4 leagues in it under "upcoming". Click the one you want to sign up for and it will take you to the quick rules page.

On the right hand of the screen there is a signup. One of the things is game-id. Click on change and type in your gamertag so it can confirm that you have the game. Then sign-up. It takes you to a page where you need to tick a box and click on accept.

It worked for me just there. If you are already doing all that and it isn't working then perhaps a firewall problem?

Many thanks Will, really appreciate your assistance, I'll give it a go now.

Most appreciated 👍👍👍😎

Worked perfectly mate.

Seemed odd that it asks you to 'change gamertag'!?..

Yet it wants you proper current gamertag lol..

Anyhow, registered, but sadly it's not until the 29th this month for the Open a Class, will try for the Elite Classes as well.

Was there one for this Friday (isn't it based on US time, as it's Friday night here in Australia, yet it's still Thursday in the US....isn't It?

Nae bother Oz.

The GT thing had me a bit confused too. I have to agree that the website is not noob friendly, but now I know what to do it seems really simple.

The times on the website are BST (British Summer Time). Perfect for me as I'm from/live in Scotland. I think you are 9 hours ahead of BST.

Ahh, so I've 'missed the boat' as they say.... Bugger me....

My family cones from the Royal House of Stewart's of Scotland back in the early 1800's. My great great great grandparents settled in NZ first, established a little Isle called Stewart Island, (funny that) which was the very first island that the royal family stopped at in their very first visit to NZ back in the day.

The family eventually moved to Australia a generation or two later, and settled in the outlaying suburb of Sydney called Bankstown.

That's all for my ancient history lesson LoLo...... Where are Ye from ládie......

How have you missed it?

I may have caused some confusion here. The BST times I am seeing are when the events start. Looking at the quick rules we have to be signed-up by 11:59pm PDT the Friday beforehand. So we have about 15 hours from now to sign up. The event starts 8am PDT which is 5pm BST (my time) on the Monday. That finishes on the Thursday at 11:59pm PDT. That is the qualifier period for the elite event.

The open event kicks off at the same time but closes on the Sat instead of Thurs.

Sorry, my times on the front page and in some of the subsequent pages are in BST, the website automatically set it. I didn't realise in my last post that the rules were in PDT. It is ridiculous how much a timezone change can throw me out of whack.

I have heard Australia is a wonderful place to visit. I know a few folk that went there for a few months backpacking. I want to visit, I don't want to move there though as I hear bad things about the internet quality. Plus does it not get frustrating that a lot of computer games schedule their downtime at an hour that is suitable for UK and USA but not Australia. It works out as your peak time for internet traffic doesn't it?

I'm from a town 20 miles south of Glasgow called Hamilton. Been working in Edinburgh for the last 6 years so moved here 2 years ago. The Edinburgh festival kicks off the day. City will be mobbed but some really good shows on to go and see.

Sadly I got busy with family and missed this week, but will be doing the next session soon as it can.

Thanks for pointing out the time zone thingy.

Australia is in the throws of rolling out the NBN (National Broadband Network) using super fine fibre optics that are as thins as a pin, yet I'm getting 100 mbs.

About 2/3rds of the rollout has been completed, with most major suburbs of the major cities already fitted with the NBN Box on the side of the houses.

I get extremely fast times, as mentioned before. So don't believe everything a disheartened player or network user spits out on a forum or on the net somewhere.

The weather in Australia is very diverse, and the one thing everyone from overseas can NOT get over once they arrive.....is the shear doze of the entire Island, the biggest in the world. Our cities roll on for miles and miles, changing 'suburbs' as each one melds into the next.

Unlike many overseas towns, there's no real demarcation area between on City suburb send the next. They cn literally be across the road in the same area.

So tourist see the road Sydney, and think a decent size city. When in fact, Sydney City proper, is no more than a few miles square. But he entire Sydney Metropolitan Areas spans miles.

And no, there's no kangaroos jumping around in our streets anywhere in shy of he city's or suburbs.

You'll find those fellas out in the outback, or on the huge farmlands near gum tree forests and bush. Never walk up yo a wild one. They are cute, but a full grown Big a grey or Zbig Red, can open you stomach up with a swift kick of his back legs as he sits on his very muscular tail.

Yes, we do farm Roos for meat in supermarkets. But a BIG NO to the thought that we do the same with our cuddly Koalas. By the way, they are NOT BEARS like Rome ppl call them, they are marsupials and rear their young in a smsll pouch initially. Same as Roos do.

The map you'll get in Horizon is a mess of places all crammed into one huge map. There's no way the Great Ocean a Road is just a few miles away from Byron Bay, or The Yarra Valley..

If you ever do come 'Down Under' please give us a shout, send I'll be honoured to show you around our great state, enjoy our bohemian lifestyle, our open sidewalk cafés, beautiful Zoo, and nature parks where you can pat a big Roo or Rock Wallaby, and see the cuddly Koalas.

What about our famed terrors.... See one of the worlds largest beasts The Australian crocodile, and you'll have a new respect for our Scully monster friends that keep tourist numbers down. Seems tourist can't resit swimming where there's BUG SIGNS saying. DAMGER Cricodiles kill people, do not swim in this water.

That's msunly for upper Queensland, the Northern Territory, upper Western Australia.

These are THE biggest beasts in the world. With the largest being recorded at 9.2 meters long, and can swallow a young child whole. You think American Gators are big, you ain't seen nothing till you see a Big Croc looking at you like you're a snack before lunch.

And finally, no, spiders do not live in every house where you're unsafe to rest your head. Amazing what one persons experience out in the bush changes and makes ppl scared to come to our wonderful Isle.

Australia can just fit into Nth America with some room to spare, just. We'd have to cut the top off the island, and squeeze it in somewhere else. And we only have a population of a medium sized European city. 23 mil approx at the last count.

Huge place, but not much habits areas. But do come, you'll enjoy it immensely. I'm serious about the assistance mate, just reach out and we DSL soto something out.. Enjoy...
