Hello there,

there is it again, like in Forza5, mostly during the race the sound is cracking, disgusting!

I can't tell especially when, but it's happening when a few other cars are around me in action more often.
There is no problem with every Forza except Forza5 and now Forza6.

Please fix it, please

Thanks

Can you tell me more about your set up? Specifically:

What system are you playing the game through? The TV only or some sort of audio system?

What are your Xbox One's audio settings? What are your FM6 audio settings (Home Theater, Headphones, TV)?

Which car(s) are you driving when you experience this issue?

Thanks,
Brian

Thanks Mech for looking into to this and posting that you are. It's nice to see that issues are being looked at. I understand it is a very busy time for Turn 10 as well as you yourself so I just wanted to let you know I appreciate it and love the game. Now if they would only get us the info. LOL

To support the issue and not start a new thread, I'm having the same audio issues.

When players talk it starts out long and drawn out with a mechanical, robot type sound then toward the end of the sentence it will finally clear up just as they quit talking. I also have a new issue though...when players talk while racing, my game lags and pretty much makes online play impossible.

It happens through my television and headphones. I do have a soundbar hooked up to the television and my audio settings are set to Stereo Uncompressed for both HDMI and Optical.

Edit: Just to do a little troubleshooting I realized the optical output was hooked up to the television so sound was going from the Xbox, to the television, and then the sound bar so I hooked the optical up to the Xbox to eliminate the television and then turned the sound for HDMI off so it only uses the optical. Will report back.

Second Edit: Issue resolved.

Thanks a lot for taking my issue serious!

First, this noise is coming from my TV, Headphones and Surround System as well.
So, all my systems are working, i guess.

XBoxOne Settings are 5.6 and Home Theater

Forza Settings Loudness 80 and Home theater as well

This cracking is mostly happen when i drive a rain race and a lot of cars have to brake in curves or have spinning wheels. In Prague is this problem very big but not if i'm driving alone. But the uncanny thing is, that this soundproblems are growing during gameplay.

Only after a complete restart it's gone for a while.

Thanks again

I experienced it on the demo and the full game. Crackling sounds during race. My set up is optical output from TV to soundbar. Xbox is set up to "home theater".

Doesn't happen all the time, but was surprised to see it in the demo for sure.
