In doing private lobbies, when I set the grid sorting to Random and click OK. It resets back to PI.

This seems like a bug.

Then in large races, we see a number of Driveatars without names.

Also just like in FM5, when you change vehicle class in a multiplayer race, most of the Driveatars wont change their car spec to match.

"Cosmetic" damage doesn't work either. It's stuck on Simulation damage.

Not exactly: if is set in cosmetic, the game ignores the lobby settings and uses your game settings. If you set the lobby to simulation, then everyone will have damage regardless of their personal settings.
Still broken, but this is the current behaviour. Tested it last night.
