I have noticed the Telemetry option in the replay doesn't seem to be showing any. Is it the same for everyone or is it only available for certain events?

There is a bug with it if you view the replay right after the race. If you save the replay and view it later from Forza TV it will show telemetry. Replays from the leaderboards will also have working telemetry.

Is anyone else having this issue, or is it just me? Do I need to be in a specific mode for the telemetry in the replay to work?

I thought this was removed in FM5? Live telemetry only, not in replays.

They supposedly brought it back. When you go into Replay mode there is a box for telemetry and it does bring up the familiar live screen, except it shows no data.

Same here, I can't view the telemetry either. Hopefully it gets fixed soon!

As a tuner, seeing the telemetry in a replay gives me volumes of info on the car's weakness, so how come there is a telemetry tab in replay mode, but it doesn't work. Just a static visual...is this just me?

i was hopeing telem would be back in replays. they took it out in fm5 because tuners claimed people were useing it to steal their tunes. can't be people useing useing their own replays to tune their own cars, has to be someone stealing someone elses tunes. "if you are good enough to use telem to tune your own cars you are good enough to tune without it" was the claim which i know is bs because i need consistency AND telemetry, only having telem while racing gives me consistency or telem. if i watch the telem i blow the corner, if i watch the corner i miss the telem. there is a reason texting and driving is illegal. but just like storefronts, auctions and gifting, its gone because some non racers decided they were more important in a racing sim than the racers and dan agreed with them. distance markers were an option for the fm5 hud, but they were never in the game.

you are teir 8, maybe they'll listen to you. my lowly teir 4 butt was not worth them paying attention to, other than to tell me i was wrong and only theives have any use for telem in replays.

Man, i can sympathize with you all day! Watching telem and trying to lay down solid lap times is no feat any mortal should undertake. And you are also right about the BS reasoning for the telem. If i can watch someone's tune and re-engineer it, then it means i was already good at tuning to not even need to go to that extreme. Trying to improve a lap time and squeeze out the most out of a tune requires having to watch the replay WITH telem.

To tease us with the menus of telem, but the inability to use it is cruel. Hopefully we get a patch post global launch.

Sorry about that! Glad you're using telemetry though.
This is a known bug that we're looking into. In the mean time, saving the replay and viewing it later from Options | Forza TV will get you working telemetry.
Telemetry also works if you're viewing a replay from the leaderboards.

So I was watching a replay and saw the button for telemetry, which got me all excited to see that again during replays like in FM4, which was gone in FM5.

Well, it brings it up, but nothing works. All values are static or zeroed out.

Anyone seen this? Do I have an issue? Is it working for others? Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere to implement it?

When watching a replay there's a button for telemetry. Click it and the telemetry doesn't work. Why have the option for it but it doesn't work?

Also on replays you can't view what lap you're on and the timer. Something else I was hoping for on replays was to be able to skip entire laps. For instance on lap 3 during a race you did a mega drift or something cool and want to watch it you should be able to skip the straight to that lap rather than taking ages forwarding to it.

I'm a replay geek btw lol.

Something I was thinking about today when looking to take some race photos; is there any way to have the "race UI" (lap count, total time etc.) show up in a replay?

Such information has been available in every racing game I've played in the past that had a replay function (ie: almost every previous Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo title) but I can't seem to find the relevant menu option in Forza Motorsport 6.

If it's possible to do this then pardon my ignorance for not knowing how, but I figured I'd ask regardless.
