FM6 Mods List

This thread will compile a list of the Mods that players can collect and use in the game. At launch this list is partial and will be updated after release.

See the official Mods Announcement for T10's full overview. Mods come in three types: Boost, Crew, and Dare. Using each one will either give you a performance increase or extra CR/XP from accepting a performance decrease. Mods can only be used in Career and Free Play, and lap times set with Mods rank below 'dirty' laps on the leaderboards. You can win Mod packs from Prize Spins when you increase your Driver Level or maximum Manufacturer Affinity. You can buy Mods packs at any time and see your Mods inventory from a pre-race menu or the game Options tab.

Mod Packs
  • Base Pack - 12,000 CR - Common and Uncommon Boosts with a chance for Dare and Crew Mods.
  • Crew and Dare Pack - 25,000 CR - Crew and Dare Mods with a chance for Rares.
  • Superior Pack - 50,000 CR - mix with a good chance for Rares.
  • Signature Pack - 150,000 CR - mix with a chance for Super Rares.
  • Premium Pack - 300,000 CR - mix with a good chance for Super Rares.

Each pack contains 5 Mods and you will accumulate duplicates. Since Crew and Dare Mods can be used an unlimited number of times for each Mod, you can sell extras and unwanted Mods back to the game.

Sell prices
  • Super Rare - 3000 CR
  • Rare - 1500 CR
  • Uncommon - 750 CR
  • Common - 500 CR

Ive spent 6 million credits now on the Crew and Dare Packs, Signature Packs, and the Premium Packs.
I still have not gotten the manual transmission dare mod. Pretty sure I have the rest of the dare ones, and many duplicates.

Anyone else get it yet? If so, do you remember which pack you got it from? Or can you see what rarity level it is?

Of course I post this, then get it two packs later. Its "uncommon" and I got it in the 50,000 Superior pack.

"Back of the pack" and "Manual transmission" mod rarity?
These are two mods required for achievements; anyone know their rarity? I've loaded up on the premium pack trying to get super rares, haven't seen either of these yet.

ETA my findings:

"You shouldn't" achievement triggers with UNCOMMON "Manual Shifting" mod. (picture shows 3 pedals, NOT a stick shift)

"Up to the challenge" achievement triggers with RARE "Immersion" mod. (picture shows corner with a line, ghostbusters symbol over it)

"I dare you" achievement triggers with SUPER RARE "Back of the pack" mod. (picture shows car grid with an arrow pointing back)

Every man is unwaveringly convinced he is both of two things: a sensational lover, and an unbeatable driver. No evidence to the contrary will ever convince him otherwise.

I can't remember where I got the Back of the Pack (I think it's rare or super rare). Others mentioned that the Manual mod drops in the $50K pack for them.

Note that the Manual w/ Clutch mod will NOT work for the achievement.

They are both very rare, I got them from buying a couple of 300.000 CR packs.

Says "super rare" was curious as to how rare that actually was? Anyone else have it? Thank you :)

Still trying to get the Manual and Immersion mods, no luck yet. For those of you that have those mods would you mind sharing which packs they came in?

I recieved the "back of the pack" mod in the Premium pack if that's helps anyone.

Once you have filled a mod spot with a dare does anybody know how to remove it? I got one up and I can't seem to get rid of it as it is unlimited?

When you're on the select mods screen press Y to modify mods, then press A to remove selected mod.

What makes you think its ONLY the 300k packs, the packs are random, your more likely to get a super rare or even more than 1 in the 300k packs but they can also be won in the less expensive packs.

Hi, I got a dare mod from 300k pack which isn`t listed here.
I think it´s one of the best dare mods:
Starting from place 24 and no rewind. Game rewards you with +50% Credits.

I think it´s called "back of the pack" too. I play in german language, so I´m not 100% sure.

For the are mods you list only up to Serious Brake Reduction - I have purchased two more.

One lowers your brakes by 20% for a 20% payout bonus and the other lowers your brakes by 25% for a 25% payout bonus.

Super Rare: Brutal Brake Reduction: Braking - 25% Objective = +25%
I forget the adjective for the other one but you get the drift... ;P

I've also gotten a green Mod for +100% Driver XP earned but I don't remember the name and I've used it. There has also been one for +60% Driver XP.

In the English version, it's called "Long Shot." It doesn't trigger the "I dare you" achievement unfortunately.

So the wet racing expert mod which is a rare has plus 9% grip. The grip expert mod which is also a rare has plus 9% grip and plus 8% breaking. Is there any reason I would ever keep the wet racing expert mod card? Wouldn't I want to always have the additional 8% breaking bonus. Or is there some special thing about the wet racing expert that their grip is different based on the wet track? I have not tested this to see if I can determine the difference, wondering if anyone else has tested it or knows for sure. Otherwise the specialty experts seem to be a waste when there are non non-conditional mod cards that have extra benefits and work everywhere.

The reason to use them both is to get the tier points for 50 unique mod types used :)

Do, one time use? You also don't need that mod for that achievement - there are plenty others you can use.
