Hi everyone.

Back when I was playing Forza Motorsport 4 I was an avid livery painter, focusing on race-themed designs. I don't play Forza 4 anymore but all of my designs should still be up on the Storefront incase anybody wants to try them out. I'm also posting them here since my previous thread is now on the Legacy Forums.

All of my paints, tunes and vinyls can be found with the manual keyword "PJT" or through my gamertag (PJTierney).

That Bitburger Beemer is such a great paint, and the Minolta and Shell are spot on replicas. Glad you put up a thread.

Great looking paints. Are any of these available in FM5 or FH2? Will you be importing from FM5 or FH2 to FM6?
FM1 = New XBox / FM2 = New XBox 360 / FM5 = New XBox One

Thanks for the kind words.

The Bitburger M3 was one of the last paints I did before moving to the UK.

The Minolta Toyota 88C-V was one of my favourite cars in Gran Turismo 4, and at the time that I created that livery (and the Silk Cut Sauber) I was going a lot of R1 and X-Class Public Lobby racing. I remember the lower side skirts being particularly tricky due to some odd texture mapping that was going on, but ultimately I got it all sorted.

The Shell 962 was a fun one to put together. I never really drove the Porsches that were added to Forza 4 but the 962 had a lot of potential for good paints. The hardest part was getting the typeface right (it's quite similar to Times New Roman), and ensuring that the full text on the rear wing (+ 2 Shell logos) was able to get under 100 layers. There was also some texture mapping distortion on the front wheel covers that I had to work around.

The Nagoya Gallardo was actually a re-purposed version of a car I used in a competitive race league. Myself and 2 others teamed up and dominated the season from start to finish.

I currently don't have an Xbox One. After moving on from Forza 4 I bought a PS3 and Gran Turismo 6, which I played up until this week.

If I do get Forza 6, I might re-make some of these designs, but a lot of that will depend on what type of UGC-sharing options are going to be available. I made great use of the gifting and Storefront tools in Forza 4 and was disappointed to see that they have since been removed from future titles.

Be good to see you back in FM6 should you return. Am patiently waiting to see which way things go before I get too excited on FM6, but hate GT so will probably get it anyway lol

I'm considering getting an Xbox One for Forza but haven't fully committed yet, need to learn more about Forza 6's features before making the call. From what I've read Forza 5 was terrible for paint searching.

I quite enjoyed GT6 and spent 18 months racing on it. It did have its issues (stock setups are built for wheels, not pads) but the lobby and community options kept me playing for several months longer than I would have otherwise.

I've now added a section to my website where my Forza content is archived (both FM4 and FM6); it also serves as a handy, memorable URL to work as a shortcut to both my FM4 and FM6 paint threads.
