FM6 FAQ: Playground Games (Tag)

Other than timed races and drifting, FM6 also has playground game modes. Tag is available in multiplayer on the Airfield track variants, and Bowling is available in Career Showcase events in the TopGear group. FM6 does not include game modes for Cat & Mouse, Soccer, or demolition derby etc.

Tag
Tag events are available in the Multiplayer Hoppers menu with restrictions that may change from time to time. Players can also created a Private Multiplayer Lobby and set the Game Type to one of the three Tag options with their own car restrictions.

• Pass the It - One player is identified as the 'It' from the start and passes it to another player by contact. The player with the lowest time as It at the end of the timer wins.
  
• Keep the It - One player is identified as the 'It' from the start and tries to avoid having it taken from other players by contact. Most time as It at the end of the timer wins.
  
• Virus - Once tagged each player remains infected and can tag other players. The last survivor to be tagged wins.

November 12, 2015 Xbox One console update

New Xbox One Experience
Today's Xbox One dashboard update does not directly affect FM6 content but may prompt questions about how to join or invite friends to multiplayer gameplay and parties. See the announcement link for a video overview of the dashboard and party/invite features:

In addition, the update now allows for button mapping on the standard Xbox One controller under Settings / Kinect & Devices / Devices & Accessories. See the Accessories page at Xbox Support for more info. Remember to update the firmware for each of your controllers after you have installed the new dashboard.


Xbox One Calendar App
Look under Games and Apps for the new Community Calendar. This app will include events for FM6 such as the regular Tuesday and Friday Twitch streams.


Forza Motorsport 6 Game Hub
Like other Xbox One games, FM6 has a Game Hub on the dashboard that is separate from the Forza Hub app. Press the controller button while on the FM6 tile to bring up options, select Game Hub, and select Follow. This feed provides announcements similar to those at twittter.com/forzamotorsport
