Evening all, for the past week or so I have been experiencing problems trying to race online. I can access user created races, but when I try to get into a s class circuit racing lobby its nearly impossible. It attempts to join, then after a minute I join a empty lobby. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

sorry i let my live gold expire. i play off line and was only useing it for the free games so i cant test it for you. i know that wen i entered a lobby before if it was going to take too long to start the race i would quit that lobby and when i went back in it put me in a different lobby. have you tried other classes to be sure its only s class?

I'm still not being able to get into lobbies, its as though there's no one else racing. Is this happening to anyone else?

If you're trying at an obscure time of day, it just may be that no one is racing. However, S class almost always has a lobby open, so it might be a connection issue on one end.

Cheers Bulin, its usually when the kids and missus have gone to bed, about 10ish UK time. Can get into user created races no problem. I'm still playing my way through the event list, so there's plenty to do, but its not the same as racing in a lobby.

I've also recently experienced such connection problems because I can't "reach" the lobby host player so it's difficult to join almost everywhere. I'm still up on this! Add me if you'd like to race.

Check your NAT settings. If its moderate or restricted, you won't be able to connect to other people. Make sure your settings are open.

I am also having this issue, but my NAT settings are Open already. Could there be another cause?

If you're trying to get into open hopper lobbies and can't find any, then yes: the game is 5½ years old, almost everyone has moved on to FM6 or is using user created lobbies.

Or are you having trouble joining these user created lobbies?

Its a strange problem, A class lobbies appear in seconds, but s class doesn't appear at all. Turning off the console, then the router, then let the router power back up then turn the xbox back on used to help, but to be honest its a pain in the **** to do that so I stick to a class or create my own.
