World Tourer Achievement requirements

This achievement requires you to races on every track in the game. The Benchmark tracks are not required as these are DLC, and weather variants don't matter. To count, you must record a time on these tracks through a race, not just hotlapping. Most tracks are covered if you go through the World Tour, and you can look at the leaderboards to see which ones you may have missed (try the P2P and Drag tracks first), but a good way to confirm you've raced every track is to set up an online lobby with one AI opponent and go through the tracks sequentially.

Apologises in advance if this is in wrong place but
Last night I finished all track location and the achievement didn't unlock, I have done all tracks myself across all classes and p2p oval and drag. It's frustrating as I hate Fujimi.

Any help would be great

Nice listing all of them.

I wonder with the badges where you have to drive a 1000 miles can it be with multiple cars or does it have to be with only one car. I guess I will find out soon since I'm close to putting 1000 miles on all my BMW's.

Just unlocked the Super Sport badge yesterday so you can use multiple cars to unlock the 1000 mile badges will probably go after the BMW one next or the Corvette one. Also I'm pretty sure that the European version of the game actually has a few different badges. Anyway thank for the list again.

I've got all of these. The only ones I need ManteoMax did not list, which are 75 of the manufacturer affinity titles and badges. And I don't know what to tell you Raze the Dragon, if it were me I'd just keep trying.

If you didn't import a level 50 Forza 3 profile at the beginning of the game, then you're S.O.L. for that game save. I did some monkeying around a while back, and started a new game, after I got Forza 3 driver level to 50 (didn't get there before Forza 4 was released) and it unlocked the badge.

So, unless you want to lose all of your progress, you can't get the badge after first starting the game. Kinda stupid why they had those types of challenges, also the unicorn ones (which I don't believe you can get them anymore) if people are just getting the game now. But not as stupid as the Kinect achievement (I bought a Kinect just for the achievement, then gave it to my nephew. Didn't want it to begin with, lol)

JTerk438, I for one agree with you about the unicorn and imported-save-to-begin-career things being stupid, as well as the kinect one.

A better way to handle the save importing might have been done before, by another game; back on the original XBox, there was a game called Sega GT2002, which was very much like Forza, a celebration of the automobile. It touched on some historical aspects a bit more, with events tailored specifically to the 60s, 70s, 80s, and even had excerpts, little history lessons, about each of the cars that scrolled across the screen during replays. Sega GT2002 didn't have visible damage modeling like Forza, but it did penalize you monetarily for coming into contact with other cars, the walls, etc, by having a sort of damage meter, and even rewarded you for no damage. An interesting thing from Sega GT2002 was that you could purchase used parts at a lower price and randomized availability, but there was a chance of those parts being of lesser quality; the used exhaust systems, for example, would sometimes fail during a race, leaving you limping along with less power and a smoking car. Also, there was engine, suspension, brake, and tire wear, and instead of the game acting as if you were a rich man with sponsorships or more money than sense, it treated you more like a man who only spent his weekends at the track, and the damage persisted and grew worse until you repaired or replaced parts. You had to either purchase new engine components, or have the ones in use overhauled. Tires had to be replaced, and would last you several races, depending on the type of race and, perhaps, how hard you pressed them. There was also a garage, which you could sort of physically move about in, even customize to an extent and decorate with items purchased from another section of the game's parts shop.

Before I get any further off-topic, let me cut to the chase; a short while after Sega GT2002's release, a second, updated version titled Sega GT2002 Online was released, which featured online multiplayer and a few different cars, as well as a few additional ones. There were also a few cars that could be downloaded. But the important part, the part you've all been waiting for, the genius bit---was that you could transfer a save file from the first manifestation of Sega GT, into the second, online manifestation of Sega GT. The save file, when imported, brought over up to 300,000 credits. That in and of itself isn't too amazing, it's pathetic compared to the cars you can get from importing the correct Forza 3 save to Forza 4, but it does bring up another possibility; rather than ONLY allowing you to transfer some cars and get a couple of achievements at the START of a Forza 4 career, shouldn't it have been possible to have the alternative option to transfer a save after the start of a Forza 4 career, and get money instead? Or STILL get the cars? Why be limited to only being able to transfer the save at the start of the career?

But, that is all in hindsight. It was only a possibility, something that could have been. And maybe a lesson, an example, as to what could be, in the future to come... Oh, and Sega GT2002, both versions, also had adjustable boost levels for turbos at least, though I can't say for certain if it really made any difference. Might've wore the engine out quicker, the tires too... Not too much else was tunable, though. Not sure if I recall anything else being tunable, really... That game also featured moving aero pieces, for those cars that had them. The Caspita Jiotto concept car, the Ford GT90, some others I think.

Now, on to the unicorn thing... First off, let me just say I don't like the unicorn system, to begin with. Most of the time that I've had my consoles, I haven't had them hooked up to the internet, so I haven't been able to do online multiplayer. Surely there are others out there who have been in the same boat. Not everybody has online. Not everybody can do online multiplayer. It doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to grind away and eventually purchase that somehow nearly impossible to get Z28, or whatever. Those cars? They're already there, on the game disc, just waiting for you to be able to afford. Sticking them behind another layer of red tape at the actual real life dealership is one thing---not just anyone is allowed to buy an LFA, right? But, in a game, preventing someone from grinding up the cash and eventually basking in the glory of a sweet new ride is a bit...impish? Excessive? The 999,999,999 credit price tag to roll around in an H1 Hummer was bad enough on R: Racing Evolution for the XBox or PS2, but at least that could be done, and without needing a good stable/fast internet connection, and really good skills. I get that games now-days want to reward people for playing online. I get that they want to reward you for good performance. I get that these rewards do need to be something a bit special. Do I think it should be cars that someone who hasn't touched online mode can't get, ever, at all? No. No I do not. Do I have any idea what the reward should be? ...well, no, I don't have an answer for everything. I wish I did. Maybe special liveries. Maybe tons of money. But maybe those two things aren't special enough. I can sort of understand that. It's a slippery slope, I guess. But it sucks not being able to get your hands on an S204 or Z28 or certain RX-7, when the data for them is right there on your console, from the moment the game is installed and running...but just, for some reason, doesn't show up in the manufacturer's listing... Putting them behind the red tape of something obtainable would be a good option. Reach level 25 in manufacturer affinity, and, oh, what's this? A new car has been unlocked in the dealership...? Whatever could that be? Oh! It's one of those unicorns! Cool! This could be a good incentive to actually grind up manufacturer affinity for every manufacturer, beyond level four or so. Grind up Lexus to 25, get access to the LFA. Grind it up to 50, get the Nurburg Edition LFA. Just tossing ideas out there...

You are forgetting that the rewards for FM4 were GIFTS and not transferred from FM3, the gifts were determined by your FM3 having particular details in it. Probably wouldn't work to transfer anyway given the way the Forza saves are locked down. At the end of the day you aren't really missing anything - except the badge, and it was meant for those that had played FM3 BEFORE FM4.

Can't say I am sad to see the unicorn idea die - was fun but became too important to way too ma ny people instead of them just playing the game and enjoying it.

Helo TURN10 :) I am one of many many players on Forza 4 who wants the Maple Valley Challenge back again. You had the Maple challenge in 2012 last time. Alot of players missed that challenge and are therefore a long way down the leaderborards on RWD and awerall drifting. And it really matters for allot of us who still plays this good game. And it would bring allot of players back to Forza 4 and make it interesting again. My old gamertag is banned for noe reason by you. But my new one is doing very good on the leaderboards. Im ranked number 29 in the world WHITOUT the Maple Challenge, and it really makes me sad and upset. Only bacause i startet plaing Forza 4 too late and missed The Maple Challenge. You will be getting allot of messages about this Maple Challenge in the future. Allot of players really really want it back so they can get the chance to catch up with the players who did good on the Maple Challenge. It would really make a difference for those of us who still plays this game 4 years after it came out, and still thinks this is the bast car game in the world. Thank you, Hope you will do something about it soon. My gamertag is: im2slow4every1

Not going to happen - T10 have well and truly moved on from FM4.
Also - ban are not discussed in any way here on the forums (and people do not get banned for absolutely no reason).

I'm a little late for this, but I saw on TrueAchivements that if you attempted to load your vinyl groups from FM3 without doing the "import" yet, it would give you the prompt to import your FM3 status and if you said yes, you would get the achivement, the badge/title, and your cars/credits.
