I'm really sorry if I'm being misleading here but is that snow on the road in this pic?

We can dream but it's probably just an effect of the lighting.

Just playing devil's advocate, but... ferris wheel + European coast + beach = possibly sand?

I'm going back through what little gameplay footage/stills we have available to see. Don't see anything yet.

We can dream but I really doubt its snow. It looks more like a stucco wall, which would explain the reflection on le GTR but the stripes on the road seem too thin and there's too many of them to be tire tracks. Its probably just weathered paint

I'm no genius, but why would a carnival be going on during the winter, just my observation.

Even if it is snow, Forza 5 has snow too - it's just on the side of the road, as it might appear in this photo.

It's sand at night.

Even though I would love to see snow at some point, it really doesn't suit the setting, unless there are roads right up into the Alps. The game appears to be set on the Mediterranean coast during summertime.

I could be wrong, but to me it looks much more like the motion effect of the pavement when you take a photo in game of a moving vehicle. The brightness of the surface is likely due to the direct contrast of light from the headlights.

If it was the affect you are speaking of (shutter speed), the rest of the surroundings would have the same affect applied, specifically the wheels. Either way, I doubt the odds of what we are seeing as being snow.

If it was snow im sure they would have said something, its definitely something to brag about since many racing games dont have it

Now I remember that rally stage in Sega GT 2002. It is all covered in snow. If I remember correctly, it also snows in the level too.

Didn't they say that the game would take place in the Alps, France and Italy?
