Rear diffusers
Exhaust tips
Sleek headlight options for popup models
More rear aero options (adjustable stock spoilers should actually allow adjustability)
Factory aero options (TA aero and vented hood for the Dodge Viper)
More engine swap options that make real power (not just :12 swaps)
Supercharger AND turbocharger options for all cars
Boost tuning (adjust psi separate from changing turbo/supercharger)
More tire width options
Ability to separate widebody kits (use only front or rear fenders or ability to not have to apply front/rear numbers that come with kits)

I just want to see more wings, race kits.
For example, GT1 rear wings for the Mclaren F1, CLK GTR, Saleen S7, procar kit for the BMW M1 and many more.
These are my expectations for the new customizations.

Window decals
Exhaust tips
rim depth selection
the ability to shave chrome and badges

That's all I want.

Visible engine swaps in Forzavista
https://www.youtube.com/...p;ab_channel=Ericship111

At 4:18 you can see that the engine model is separate from the actual car model. Imo this will make it 100x easier to get visible engine swaps in Forzavista, as u now don't have to model an empty engine bay and a new engine, just to see the engine swap. Or maybe I am wrong and the 68 firebird is the only car with an engine model separate from the car model.

I'd imagine opinions may be mixed on this, but here goes...

Horizon is a game as much about style as it is about racing, so my suggestion is to make Forza Aero, and maybe even wheels, be a purely cosmetic choice that doesn't effect car performance.

I often feel that all those super cool body kits you can add to a car often go to waste because they just add extra weight to the car that no one wants.

The player could perhaps still need to purchase downforce options in the upgrades somewhow, but not by buying a spoiler etc.

Does anyone else agree that the addition of more body kits like Veilside would make this game so much better? This would easily become my favorite game just because of that

500 cars x minimum 10 options per car (way low) is 5000.
Not per car, though 100/car not unusual in some.

I'm pretty happy we've seen new bodykits and rims across most of the previews we've seen so far. I think the real question is did they update or add aditional Forza aero and fix any of the customization issues from previous games (aka the Honda CRX missing its sideskirts for the last decade) .

One of the things I'd love to see I know many would frown upon but the fact that it'd be an ingame optional feature would mean there'd be no "right or wrong" - I'd love to have neon underglow to put on cars. I get nostalgic for things like that.
I'm going to prioritise the Supra here:
I'd love to have the 1995 series 1 J-spec back lights for the Mk4 Supra - the ones with the more defined black detailing between the bulbs. In addition, the UK-spec bonnet and the TRD bonnet as visual options; and for the car to come standard with the smoother-looking 17 inch rims - standard on UK twin turbo. Would love the Bomex front bumper version from the orange Fast and Furious Supra. Keep it right hand drive. Would also love the car to come with the series 1 and UK-spec clearer headlights with the chrome inside.

My good friend @pakmanz has created the PMZ Widebody for the 300zx. It would be awesome to see this in the game!

There are already many videos of preview builds on Youtube.
And from what I've seen of those videos, it looks like all the Rocket Bunny/Greddy body kits have been removed.
Did PG lose their license? Or did they not add their body kits in time for the preview build?

I just want different exhaust tips for cars like 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s japanese cars especially.
They are adding all these outrageous body kits that look aggressive with standard pea shooters it looks ridiculous and spoils all the work they have achieved.
They might has well have extremely wide body kits with the standard wheel track as that’s the appearance it gives

They have all these wide body kits from different companies but why not go to the in house tuners aswell for the more subtle look like Toyota (TRD) or big Japanese tuners such as top secret. Not everyone wants craziness all the time and not everyone wants subtle either just gives us a balance.

I’ve mentioned exhaust tips as an option but I think if that not an easy thing to do why not do it like they have with the supra as bumper options and aftermarket bumpers already attached, and also the wide body kits too.

From what I’ve seen up to now they’ve got it spot on and just missing little finishing touches that would make it perfect

I'm going to be salty if Rocket Bunny is gone, basically there goes half the new bodykits from the last two games. It also looks like Liberty Walk is still there but they've added zero new kits from them. I'm still overall fairly excited for Horizon 5 and crossing my fingers they'll be back.

i think with the fact that the exhausts finally make different sounds, we should be able to change the muffler tips as well. i also think we should get more wagons in the game. like the spec b bp5 legacy or the nissan stagea or the mitsubishi evo wagon. al these would fit mexico quite well

I agree with everything on this list, why because I’ve actually requested all these at least once for each game.
The only other feature I’d add is different manufacturer wheels and maybe even mix and match like granturismo when you get new wheels the replaced wheels remain in the wheel selection for other cars

Yeah the option to remove badging is a great idea and don’t think it would be hard for them to implement either
