Hello Forza, I've been a fan of your games for a couple of years now. Complained a little here and there about some of your choices and I just went in the flow for a little silence in awhile. However, as of late, when you guys managed to release it on Steam, I've been having frequent disconnection issues.

Sometimes when I start a match: Disconnect
Sometimes when I start an Eliminator session: Disconnect
Sometimes when I do a Ranked Team Adventure or Solo Adventure: Disconnect

So I don't get it: I have a connection speed of 176 MBPS and it's been doing that for me more frequently than ever. How come I'm being disconnected now post patches on Series 33 with all of these? I can't even race properly with friends anymore...
I don't even know if my Xbox account has been suspended or not, because no one sent me a mail... I've tried Microsoft Support and I've tried everything from installing it on a different PC, to using my Xbox, to reinstalling, even reformatting my computer. I, at least in some of the few people here, need some answers on what's going on with the cloud services on your application. At least address it so I know if I'm the only one or there are some people out there as well...

Same. Frequent disconnects when doing any online event. Prior to the current season / Steam things were generally very reliable.

I have also been having countless issues with disconnecting during races with my convoy we get in race for a second and then disconnect. We sometimes can make it through a race but that seems to be about 1 out of 10 tries to do the race i would appreciate it if this issue would be resolved.

yes just move on dont play ranked and cars behind 50% just for them to get on auctionhouse alot better for the bloodpressure.

this has been an ongoing problem for so long now.
doing a teredo policy edits makes it better but still dont fix the "random" disconnects when your doing to well in ranked drift adventures. sending in a report will just be a nice and tidy response of on our end everything is nice and dandy must be on your side.

but have you troubleshooted teredo issues? its a protocol that guilty of alot of connectivty issues when its doing alright.

2 weeks ago, I haven't had these issues, and you're correct.
I've only been having these issues recently and I hate it.

Same for me, I lost 60 points in ranked with three disconnection in a row. It was very sad because before the disconnection I won all the first races. I suggest to not play ranked in this period hoping that they fix this annoing issue. It is a general "forza issue" because I experienced the same in forza motorsport 7

Same here, I have been playing this game since it launched and have not had this many disconnects combined in the entire time playing as I have since the launch of the Steam version.
I finally gave up earlier today. After a half hour, I managed to finish a grand total of 1 race.

I can't complete any of the online required seasonal events this week so far, they all disconnect at some point. Seasonal games disconnected on the 4th event and then 10 seconds into the first one. I have a 1GB connection and I'm showing no connection issues anywhere except Forza 4. Teredo is all enabled for me (I never disabled it in the first place). I managed to get the monthly challenges done during summer last week so that's something at least but this is absurd.

They have been quiet on this issue as of late. You might wanna start getting on their direct support page.

Same issue here. I suspect they have a problem with the Teredo tunneling infrastructure. I opened a support ticket for the issue. So far nothing but a canned response.

Ok things may be looking up for this 52 yr old Horizon 4 addict. Not 30 minutes after venting on this forum (8 Trial disconnects in a row) I went back to the basement and completed the Trial three times in a row with 3 different cars without a disconnect. This is encouraging, maybe they've found the glitch, or maybe I was just extremely fortunate. Regardless, I'm thankful and hopeful I can get back to some normalcy with a game I still enjoy tremendously after two years.

Having the same issue as of tonight. My connection is normally very reliable as I'm using a wired connection but its disconnecting every 5 mins. All my online features were locked for about an hour about 2 hours ago.

I don't get disconnected from Horizon life in free roam ever, I complete Forzathon lives fine, but can't do any online event, which means I can't get the cars from Trial or Autumn Games :( I logged a ticket too but I can't imagine they're going to do anything despite it clearly being an issue.

This is seriously frustrating and not what you should be getting from the supposed world leader in online gaming systems..

Getting an average 1 out of 5 successful completions without a disconnect is unacceptable in my opinion.

I may have to go back to my PS4.

I believe it helps significantly. But there are some connection issues in general right now it seems. Online hangs a lot in between games.

They could all be conencted to the same Teredo server endpoint or their packet could be transiting the same network path close to that Teredo tunnel endpoint and getting dropped due to an issue they all end up having in common. I'm seeing oscillation of Teredo connectivity. But, there is no amount of client troubleshooting that will solve this issue. This is either a Microsoft or 3rd party network issue that customer's can't fix.
