So new season and my start wasn't really that good.
The trial ... more like bumper car racing with B 700 retro rally cars. My usual pick was Subby on stock tires. Got bested by player in power Toyota on first race, so 2nd. Easy win on second race, as I could escape the first corner pileup, Started last on last race worked my way up, with all the pushing and showing, again only managed 2nd, bested by speedy drivatar. Trial won, my mood in shambles along with any creativity.
Subaru Impreza 22B, tune - 100 074 112
or Lancia 037 Stradale, tune - 232 493 781
or Nissan Pulsar, tune - 551 716 645

To solo championships and starting with fastes - high rollers S2 998 road racing, I simply picked already used Pagani.
Pagani Zonda Cinque roadster, tune - 175 062 114
or Lambo Centenario LP 770-4, tune - 109 997 332

Next to more road racing, this time with S1 900 cars made in Germany again just picking something that I already used.
Porsche Cayman GT4, tune - 154 999 145
or MB SLS AMG, tune - 130 630 292

Finishing with street scene racing, with A 800 cars from Japan, first I wanted to tune something, but life got in the way, so just took already tuned Subby for weekly forzathon. Somewhat soft suspension, as its tuned for offroad, so a bit more leaning in corners, but easily took the win.
Subaru Impreza WRX STI '15, tune - 172 871 538
or Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec '93 , tune - 438 995 437
or Honda NSX-R '92, tune - 875 735 173

PR stunts and as usually used Koenigsegg Agera RS, tune - 167 849 655 for speed trap and danger sign, used McLaren Senna, tune - 176 256 116 for speed zone. All done on first try.

Weekly forzathon and its using a modern rally car to reach around 300 kph , do some 3 star jumping and go for 10 min drive :). So used Subaru Impreza WRX STI '15, A 800 tune - 172 871 538, if going east from festival on downhill section or on highway trough first two tunnels, it'll hit those 300 kph, will easily take 3 stars from Ambleside Edge danger sign, with good spare and finally win the Gauntlet (no shortcuts, as almost nobody uses them, its a nice 10 min sightseeing run anyway).

Weekly Super 7 reward is Italdesign Zerouno.

That brings us to finishing pic :)

Hope this can be of any help to someone, will try and do challenges with some other cars and post their tunes. Also if using some other car and there is my tune for it, feel free to try it.
Take care everyone, have fun and bb

Thanks for all the weekly updates you do El Barto, i use your tunes a lot of the time and they are always competitive in most instances blowing away the competition. I used the Subaru Legacy RS and the Lancia 037 Stadale for the Races (not your tunes this time). Subaru was a bit of a handful but straighline speed was fast, Lancia was great all around but lacked some grip especially on the last race the tight twisty one. Do you have offroad tunes for the Lancia in B700 class as that felt like it could have done with a small adjustment grip wise and it would have been unbeatable. The only other competition i got in the races was from the Audi Quattro, that was fast as hell but looked a bit loose on the turns where it lost time and i took it, might be worth looking at that for a tune if you dont already.

You are right on the bumper cars, there was a lot of ramming in the Retro Rally race for sure. You have to contend with the Drivitars zig zagging wildly at the start then if you manage to get through that you will most definetly get smashed into full speed in the first corners. Adds to the fun i suppose, if its what makes people laugh then you know what, knock yaself out, life has been **** lately so there are many more worse things to worry about than some newbie rammers having a laugh at my expense! Thanks for the contributions, keep em going!

Also to you @ManteoMax, your work here is tireless, just had a look at your website and OMG you are a total data junkie! Fair play borther that is some crazy stats and data you have put together there. Thanks for putting it all together for the folks like me who are too damn lazy to do it! :-)

Personally found the Pulsar the best for this week's trial, plenty of good options though.

Staying connected will be the biggest problem for me this week, I'm almost expecting it between finishing the 2nd race and the end now in trials.

Thank you and you're welcome.

Not really feeling of doing anything after loooong night shift, so I did try and put together few more tunes - updated the first post.
For trial I also tried Nissan Pulsar of many powers and only few grips ... idk its not something I'd drive, but if anyone wants to try it: 551 716 645.

Can any one clue me in on how to complete the Showcase Remix #3 - FOREST SPRITE - ?
Been trying to complete it for what seems ages and can only get to 3-5 secs behind blue and only see the bikes at the start as they are so far ahead!
XB Series X and are using H/S or Unbeatable.

There are a few corner cuts you can take up to the quarry, and dont go through water where you can avoid (there is a big water hole as you take the bend into the quarry go to the right up the bank a little to avoid it). On the last bit where you come down the hill to the big finish ramp you can cut the corner a lot there, bike will be out wide to your right then he will cut across, he slows a little so if you are within range you take him. Dont hit him whatever you do, its like when you hit the hovercraft...you shoot off the track. You dont really need to use the brakes at all if i remember correctly its just timing on cutting the corners and taking the shortest route to the checkpoint. They always are ahead, you never catch them until the last man at the end. remember you can rewind and even lower the level if its too hard.

Yeah i tried your Lancier tune, its very similar to the one i drove before, not the greatest of grip but still blew everyone away as its very agile, has good manners but is also very "flickable" around corners and has good pickup speed. I applied your tune to the Scooby but didnt drive it as i couldnt get into a trial for some reason so gave up. Will use it again tonight to see. Thanks again, top man.

Lawn chair tune works nice EB.
Disconnected after 2 wins.
3 other times punted by teammate while leading or 2nd. Of course took 2 rewinds to get to missed gate.
Just futile. Worst in awhile.
Hope you’re mending ok EB.

Here is a demo. A full run of a reasonable time, and then the last bit of a much worse run where I still won. The AI seems to adapt to what you do, so it's almost impossible to lose if you take the last corner reasonably well. You can use rewind if it goes wrong anywhere. The quality is terrible at the moment, because YouTube is taking an eternity to process it to full quality (has been several hours so far, for a <3 minute video).

This is arguably my least favorite remix. I can usually always get it, but it usually takes me 2 or 3 tries, even knowing the script. I know I've got it in one shot a couple times before, but I often have to do it at least twice.

You start in 4th gear, which is too high, and you won't know it because the gauge renders in slowly after the opening cutscene. You immediately have to downshift to 3rd as soon as you get control. Then change your gears more naturally after the puddle.

After that, it's just taking the lines, which can be tricky, since the sprite bounces around a lot. One mistake can mess you up, and make it hard to recover.

The bikes are scripted to a degree, but they do rubber band. If they get too far ahead of you early on, it's tricky to catch up. Don't neglect your pacing thinking the bikes don't matter until the end. You need to keep pace. You know you're on-pace when the game does that cinematic slowmo thing, and the bikes are in-frame, stunting, or looking all photogenic. Breeminator is actually slightly ahead of pace in a couple of these, so it's a pretty good run. The critical one is the last one by the lake. If you're on pace for that one, it's your race to loose. Even in what he calls the bad run, Breeminator is on-pace at the cinematic. He's able to correct after crashing into the sign, and has no problem at all after that.

Where the finish line is, is a bit fuzzy. So you don't actually have to race Blue to it. If you're keeping good pace with him after the last turn, or even better, gaining, you've probably got it.

Thanks for this as I won by half a second using your tips.

I had to turn of T/C and Stability then switch off the brakes.

I think I threw caution to the wind too!!!

I was met with heartbreak after heartbreak after winning 2 of the 3 races (and usually winning the 3rd) 8 consecutive times of running the Trial only to be booted out during the final race. The 9th attempt I was booted after winning the 1st race with some good teammates and then booted once again during the start of the 2nd race. The 10th time I finally was able to "survive" the servers long enough to win the Trial with a few good drivers while the rest were just being aggressive on purpose towards fellow drivers.

Very frustrating Trial, though not from the usual bumper-car-shenanigans (though there were a few too many from racers who either didn't care or were racing after already winning the Trial) more from the servers kicking us out.

The most successful car I used was the 1980 Renault 5 Turbo using Keinegnade8 's tune. It had great acceleration and launch after corners with decent handling and braking through the curves. It would usually and quickly leave AI and fellow (untuned) drivers in the dust. I came in 1st and 2nd place the most with this tune.

The second best was the 1984 Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205 using Uber Driving 's tune. It had decent speed, accel and launch but the handling was not as good as the Renault in curves but still respectable against opponents (AI and "live"). I landed 1st (twice) and 3rd (once) and 7th after being slammed out of bounds by a "teammate" in 2nd place.

The third best was the 1998 Subaru Impreza 22B STI using betinhogvx 's tune. Good speed and handling but not as quick off the line after corners as I needed, but still a go-to tune I like using in B-Class off-road/mixed races.

PG was glitchy as well with fellow drivers dropping like flies (me included) but I survived long enough after the 3rd attempt to earn the win.

Hope this helps.

Predictably my 1st go after posting that I went through it with zero issues.

Had a good 3 races with a teammate in a Legacy so that looks like a good choice too.

Edit: Fun fact for everyone, not from me but according to FH4.

The AM One-77 is actually a B-class Retro Saloon.

Doing well, thank you Sfumato720

Just notice one thing that future holds :)
Last weekly Forzathon challenge in spring:

Super GT and Princess street speed trap, hope they also put Aston Martin DB11 PO in Forzathon shop or backstage, for easier completion.
In any case, its gonna be a busy place again ...

Don't really feel like opening new thread.

I just got a small update of 600MB on PC, nothing on patch notes.
Is there anything we should know about it?

Last time they had this (some time ago) I ran it in a Ferrari 599 GTO. It's a Super GT and available from the Autoshow. The 812 Superfast is also Super GT but I haven't tried it in this event.

If people are having issues, I'll post the 599 tune. Then probably see how many others I can do it with.

Hope this can be of any help to someone, will try and do challenges with some other cars and post their tunes. Also if using some other car and there is my tune for it, feel free to try it.
Take care everyone, have fun and bb

It took awhile to feel comfortable with the Silicon Rally because it was; "THE TRIAL". I began with the Subaru and the Toyota and did get podium to earn victory on day one.
The worse day was the assault team of three Pulsars ganging up on my Toyota. These guys were undesired wall bashers from **** and they demolished me into the wall or pushed passed the gate flags.

Sooo, I began to use your Nissan Pulsar, tune - 551 716 645 and it has allowed me to own turn one in just about each race since. The Audi & Lancia seem to earn the extra points for the podium by following the Nissan.

Congratulations to El Barto inc for creating a very FUN tune.

I used most of my post-race time drawing up a livery.

I'll be busy for the early bits of Season 33/Winter most of the day. I'll be looking forward to testing your Thursday tuning notes.
