Did you drive the cars stock, homologated or tuned ?

Every car is completely STOCK, just few of them were changed, esthetically like the rims or some new bumpers, maybe in 2 or 3 cars

These times look good to me! Pretty close to what I've achieved myself with stock untuned cars using my Thrustmaster wheel and FACR Bean's setup. Been a while though, even though I drive on the Nordschleife frequently. Desperately need some FM8 action.

Great you have a steering wheel, sadly i just use the controller, that makes precise curves very difficult to do. I had a wheel but it was so bad that i sold it and i never want to see it again (thrustmaster ferrari red legend edition). The laps i've done are pretty casual, because the major part of the cars i've driven set their lap at their first attempt (i didn't want to lose time doing many laps for every car to set a good time, that would take me months xD ), becuse i decided to set laps for every car in my garage, but there were already about 60 of them, maybe i'm gonna compare my laps to yours and try to correct those who have fallen back too much

Yeah same, I wanted to validate the first "clean" lap always, as long as there was no big mistake or corner cutting. But putting a lot more time on each car would make a big difference, especially with the race cars and all the adjustments you can make. My wheel is a Thrustmaster TX Ferrari 458 Italia with the 3 pedal set T3PA and H pattern shifter TH8A. Wheel setup thanks to FACR Mechanical (he did a fantastic job). Since the new revised Force Feedback, it's actually really fun.

Have at it and destroy my times!

Regards.

Get the Thrustmaster TX wheel. That POS you had before was not FFB. Any wheel that doesn’t have FFB can go straight to the garbage.

I'm using an Omega GT wheel stand for the wheel, it takes space but not as much as a full on Playseat. And yeah it takes a bit of a budget to get all the right accessories to enjoy the game with a wheel, my advice to you is to go step by step, and hopefully next gen you can play with a whee since all current wheels will be compatible.

You didn't race on the Nordchleife circuit but you ran on the complete one. Wich includes the GP track. In real life they don't use that part to set all the lap times but only the circuit "in the woods"

Figured I'd chime in here, since running stock(ish) cars around the 'Ring kinda reminds me of an old GameFAQs group I was a part of way back in my Gran Turismo 4 days. Every week we'd pick a new car, everyone would run it 'round the 'Ring, and we'd share our thoughts and experiences with it. Had a few "How fast can you go for X in game credits?" competitions, too. Those were always fun.

NOTE: Any of my cars will have Race brakes added if the brakes aren't adjustable on the stock car. Other than that they will be completely stock. Wish we could just add a proportioning valve to the stock brakes (or better yet, all the stock brakes weren't so ridiculously front-biased on every car in the game), but that's not an option.

I actually realized i've done a terrible lap on my Carrera RS, she didn't deserve it, so i've redone it and... after like 3 laps i've made 8.46,4
BTW if you upgrade your car with race brakes that's not stock :D

Heh. Yeah, that's why I was clear about adding them. Didn't want anyone comparing my times to legitimate unmodified vehicle times, even if I'm nowhere near a good enough driver for it to actually matter.

And, in my defense, I did say "stock(ish)".
