Hello Forza community! I just recently got to the route creation scene, and I've decided to share some of them with you. My routes are a bit longer ones, but rather fun to race in. So hopefully you won't get bored!

Route creation was a very nice addition to the game, but the tool still needs some improvements IMO. For example checkpoint editing is pretty clunky and restricted (not adjustable along racing line), also braking lines are very much off from ideal.

Forest Rallycross Circuit

Title: Forest Rallycross Circuit (Dirt Circuit Series)
Share Code: 174 269 989
Starting Location: Whitewater Falls Cross Country (Cross Country Series), Just East from the quarry
Car Selection: Rally Monsters
Recommended Class: S2 or lower
Route Lenght: 8.1 km / 5.0 miles
Number of Laps: 2
Race Time: 7 min (S2)
Season, Time of Day and Weather: Summer, Afternoon, Light rain
Surface: Mostly dirt

Somewhat twisty dirt circuit, that takes place in the shadow of the forest with two bridge crossings. Probably my favourite track in FH4. Drivatars may be sometimes a little bit clueless, though...

Westside Story

Title: Westside Story (Dirt Circuit Series)
Share Code: 122 914 769
Starting Location: The Goliath (Road Racing Series)
Car Selection: Homologation Heroes
Recommended Class: S1 (may be good on higher classes, but drivatars can't stay on the road) or lower
Route Lenght: 58.5 km / 36.4 miles
Number of Laps: 1
Race Time: 20 min (S1)
Season, Time of Day and Weather: Spring, Sunrise, Clear
Surface: 60% tarmac and 40% dirt

Lenghty and technical circuit with high speed apshalt parts and very twisty dirt roads. You want to bring a very balanced car to this route. It's also recommended to use driving line for the first time racing this circuit.

I was initially planning to make this route much longer, so there's lack of checkpoints in the beginning of the course. The lenght was cut due the limitation of custom routes.

Starting Location: Ambleside Scramble (Dirt Racing Series)
Car Selection: Variety of rally cars from 1950s to 2010s
Recommended Class: A class or lower
Route Lenght: 7.5 km / 4.7 miles
Number of Laps: 2
Race Time: 8 min (A class)
Season, Time of Day and Weather: Winter, Night, Heavy Snow
Surface: Mostly dirt

Yeah another dirt scramble... This time the circuit takes place around Ambleside village and its meadows during winter at night time. Couple of jumps followed by blind corners make this more suitable for lower car classes.

I Follow Rivers

Share Code: 155 070 613
Starting Location: Ashbrook Loop Scramble (Dirt Racing Series)

Route Lenght: 11.2 km / 7.0 miles
Race Time: 7 min (S1 class)
Season, Time of Day and Weather: Current (Alternating), Afternoon, Clear post rain
Surface: Water!

This one ain't really a race, much more like a survival of the fittest. You'll start near the "lake" heading down the river. When you arrive to the beach, all you have left to do is climb up this narrow and unpredictable rapid. Agility and high ride height are essential to get to the finish in one piece. Don't be afraid of flipping over!

Race Time: 8 min (S1 class)
Season, Time of Day and Weather: Current (Alternating), Sunrise, Fog
Surface: Mostly dirt

A long rally stage starting with narrow country roads, thru wind farm's silent fogginess, ending up in a soothing peace of the forest area. These banned Group B rally monsters pay a tribute to the passed-away rally legend Henri Toivonen.

To get a little competition going on (and get some use for my credits), I'll pay 10mil CR for each driver who can set the fastest time for any of my routes, during the first week they're up. So you'll have until next Sunday to post your times with a proof to be eligible.

I’ve got them marked down on my phone. I add some of the ones I like to a list to keep track of.

Thanks! I'm just learning the ropes. Checkpoint placements may be a bit bad on some corners, when trying to maintain good driving line and braking points. I wish there was an option to move and rotate them. Hopefully FH5's route editor will more advanced in every way. Also drivatars tend to overshoot corners here and there.

I have only had time to try couple of your custom routes, but I've liked them so far!

Inspired by the winter season, I've created couple of new winter rally stages. Routes are pretty long and challenging, with tight corners and narrows roads. They are most suitable for A class (and below) rally cars and may be too tricky for higher classes. If I could, I would have made these solo races, because drivatars can be a little pain in the a**. But don't mind about them, just enjoy the routes!

I will update the post later with more info, but here are the share codes for now:

Heh! Just tried your routes. Good stuff again! Just one issue; stage 4 is broken. Drivatars by-passed 1/3 the track and beat me by over a minute. 2 drivatars basically cheated it which means a check point is glitched. Still, fun stuff.

Don’t worry about check point placement to much. Yours is really good! Believe me, I’ve seen a lot worse. Lol The only other thing I would say is don’t be afraid of wide check points on dirt and cross country routes

By the way, I’ve also been inspired by winter:

I'm glad you liked them!! Yeah I noticed there's an issue: those cars starting at 11th and 12th place skip the whole first offroad section. They just drive "the wrong way" from the get-go. Losing the race doesn't bother me, so I won't be fixing it. At least not anymore... :D

Also the route isn't exactly what I had in mind. I wanted to make a similiar 1vs1 rally course like they drive (/drove) in real life, super special stage maybe(?). Basically they drive 2 lap race with slightly altered layout on second lap. But FH4 didn't like me crossing the starting line from the wrong direction, so I ditched the idea... It's still my least favourite route of these, but not as bad as I felt while creating it. :D

Narrow checkpoints are thought-out thing on these routes. I wanted make them challenging and unable for corner-cheating, when there's no real hazzard going off the road. Driving with drivatars is a bit messy, though.
