Out of interest as at the time of horizon 1's promotion and launch I was into Tdu2 so didn't get horizon 1 til about 7 months after release, my question is if any one remembers did they announce the cars that turned out to be barn finds in the car list reveal or where they not known til people started finding them in game?

From a quick glance I see the Gullwing and M1 revealed in mid-September.

ok well having looked I see the Ferrari 250 aswell on the list so that means it could be any of the announced carlist then, just hope the Vw Camper isn't a barn find so I can own more than 1.

dang, i was hoping it would be cars that they didnt reveal until you find the barn finds, then in that case the barn finds are most likely all the cars that are new to forza on the list now and upcoming cars :( but hey they are barn finds i guess i was expecting brand new cars haha

Guys does anyone know how many barn finds there are this time round?

I'm still wondering about the '78 Corvette that is in the demo opening, and the commercial. It hasn't been announced, but there is in game footage of it. I'm kind of leads me to believe that we don't know the cars that are actually barn finds yet.

I'm also thinking the Ford Capri is going to be a barn find, if so I just hope it's an early one.

Game footage? Where? Or are you talking about the opening intro?
Anyway, we already know the barn finds, that Corvette is not among them.

Yeah, the Corvette plowing through the field in the opening intro was obviously not in-game footage.

How do we know the barn finds?

I ruined it for myself. Sadly none of the cars listed are barn finds. All the barn finds are part of the car list. :(

Kind of a letdown that if you go to the Barn Finds in the Garage, it shows pretty identifiable silhouettes of each Barn Find.

I liked not knowing what they were until I found them.

Found a few barns, but no ride.

I watched the first find on the YouTube video, the Willy Jeep... I did find that location last night, went again this morning and nothing, no cut scene.

Do I need to get a little farther in the game to trigger a video telling me of 'lost cars' just waiting to be found? I recall they did that in H1.

With none of my VIP etc working, I thought maybe it was tied to that some how.

The wife seems to have taken over the TV with the 'Face Off' marathon on SyFy... gotta get the man cave done.

Is there any way to buy barn finds after you've found them? Because I want a second Volkswagen bus, so I can modify it.

You could do it in the first Horizon, but I can't find an option to do it in Horizon 2.
