I'm on PC

Found better build for Evo 6 and will try finish+share tune after work. Should be Legacy beater once done.
After Evo 6 tuning also found out full weight reduction is no longer always best way like in FH3. Might have to try heavier builds for 22B as well.

Sitting at a 1.52.2 so far with the Lancia Delta. Slowly learning to drive these kind of tracks. Good fun!

BTW I’m on Xbox and controller.

Based on this advice I thought I'd give the heaviest car a go. Knocked two seconds off my previous time by using the Galant: 2:57.311 (on Xbox X/controller).

Wow, I'm horrible on dirt! Lol. I've got some serious practicing to do for sure. Granted if only run this track twice so far, but still a loooong way to go. But I finally managed a clean lap, so that's good.

First run was dirty, second was clean but slow in an LS swapped Legacy. It was 3:10 and change, like I said, slow!. I'll bring that down before we move on!

I am on an Xbox one, controller with big fat hands, lol.

Just wanted to throw this out there since I'm still trying to improve that "tuner designer" stat thing Horizon has, I'll be sharing whatever I use that's worth sharing, be it a tune or paintjob. Lol, obviously the Legacy I used for my first run prolly won't get shared, lol. But when. I start chopping that time down there will be a few shared. My times are not indicative of how fast my cars can be, usually fast friends are way faster than me in my own cars.

Anyway, just wanted to throw out a little self promotion. Never know, I might come up with a good one every now and again, lol!

Very interesting finding! Will have to test a couple of cars and see how it goes.

Pulled a bit further away from Zepp (and closer to everyone else) with 2:58.912 in a Lancia 037 with Ang3lripp3r's tune

A bit late posting here but that’s mainly due to the fact I’ve been working my way through the Car Type and my times weren’t worth posting 🥴

Struggled to do much more than 2:55’s in the RS Escort, Evo 6, Quattro, Delta S4 and 037 but made some headway with the Renault 5 Turbo tuned by Ang3l - currently sitting at 2:51.9xx (console with controller)

Added a few of you from this thread and will try to use as many of your tunes as I can. I’m not the quickest but hopefully I’ll do some of them justice 😏

Me too. Tried ANG3LR1PP3R's Renault 5 tune and made a significant improvement, down to 2:52.940

Glad to see you guys back! Shame I missed 2 Seasons so far thou...
Giving the Evo 6 a try I cant confirm what Cornerer said, my full weight reduction tune did quite well on the dirt, placed #6 overall.

I'm driving on PC with controller, and for dirt and CC i use normal steering.

Oooh, that's cold! Lol All pointing out "closer to everyone else"! Haha

Gimme more than my 8 or so laps buddy! Besides, I know I'm not that strong a driver, but I'll paint a nice car now and again. Even come up with a good tune too! Must I remind you guys of my '49 Merc for FH3? Lol

Really though, I don't expect to be all that close to you guys, but I plan on closing the monstrous gap a bit today.

I'm sure I'll be miles behind you when Moss and Kid pick one of the Muscle Car divisions, still can't get one of those cars to turn after all of these years.
Just spotted that Catsmeat has found a whole bunch of time so I'm chasing someone new.

Went a little faster, 2:52.623 using the Lancer GSR tuned by DJS. Wish replays were available to see what it takes to go 9 seconds faster.

Can’t you just select them as your rival?

Pretty sure he is referring to the inability to select a rival to watch his lap, to see telemetry, gear changes, etc. Available on other Forza games in Rivals mode.

Ah gotcha. Ignore me then. I’ll go back to trying to work out how to get a Lancer to break 2.53.

Ok, to start my slow time defense;
A. I have spent most of my time making thing go fast in a straight line while waiting for these to come back
2. I haven't driven much on dirt on this game, surprisingly
And D. I'm not using conventional cars/tunes yet
lol

Yeah, all excuses for being slow! But I did cut at least 10-13 seconds off my time in between chores and football games! Also painted a couple cars, shared a 037 Stradale along with a tune for the 037, the Galant and Subby 22b. So all in all it was a productive day.

My time for tonight is a 3:02.716 in my Galant.

Its shared. If anybody does get boarded and tries anything of mine out, please, by all means let me know what's up with it good or bad. I used to be pretty confident with my racing tunes, since I haven't run these in a while and been outta the loop I have no real gauge yet.

no idea why Nathan and DJS shared tune for HLC :P But anyway my latest 2:44.6 was set with DJS's tune which was better than my own tune apparently, but after countless rewinds I could not visualize this tune being capable of reaching Greddy's time. IMuecke at most. So I guess I was wrong and Greddy's lightweight route still the way to go for this track.

Greddy's tune is also in store by the way.

Managed a 2:52.072 with GReddy's 99 Lancer tune
Went back to J04THON's Lancia Delta tune and got down to a 2:51.572 👍

I'm on Xbox with Controller
Nice to have the HLC's back 👍
