Gave the Supervan a try with ATK Mango's S1 Circuits tune and found it a bit too twitchy on this track for me, could get into the 1:03s but not lower. Are you using the BRRRR tune by Scaans, Jezza?

Next I hopped in the GTR LM FE after seeing Rayne's time (I've never used this car before) and it is an absolute dream to drive. I'm using the handling tune by Scaans.

Edit: The Scaans tune is significantly better on this track the the ATK Mango tune, after 10 laps I managed a 1:02.4 in the Supervan 3 which is basically equivalent to what I ran the other day in the XBow and about 0.2 behind the GTR LM FE.

Yep, I’m using Scaans’ tune for the Supervan.

Scaans' is using full front tire width which normally is a PI waste but gives it the edge at this track. Without it it understeers quite a lot in the sweeping corners.
Don't know why he uses the V8 swap though. Doesn't seem better than the stock engine.

I was wondering what tune that was for the van. I’ll try but not sure I can do any better. I was surprised to get into the 1.03’s.

1.01.8 in the X-bow GT4. GTz Marple AWD tune.

Wow great time. That’s the one I have been using for the XBow GT4. Tried the Van but no luck.

XBow GT4 1.03.080. Almost in the 02’s.

Down to 1:01.7xx, I clipped the shed by the finish line but it didn't flag my time. Thanks, Forza gods.

Squished out a 1.02.3 with the '99 Elise (S1 Grip V2.2 tune - race tires). It is one of my favourite cars all time so it was fun to have a suitable track for fine tuning it. It is gritty and lively, may tighten it up a bit further - I imagine I'll put a V2.3 tune out before the end.

Could hit 1.02.7 with Bac Mono, haven't tried anything else.

Nice time RB. Looks quite a significantly different build to the ForbiddenBeef21 one I was using but more or less identical times (best I’ve done is a 1.02.2).

I managed a 1.01.7 with the Bac, using Nalak28’s build. I was using the old one but I see he’s created a new one this weekend, so I’ll have to try that as well.

I improved my time too, but got flagged because i clipped the shed by the finish. The Forza gods dont like me that much ;-))

Hadn't read through the whole forum, nice to see I could get there with my intuitive build. I put a flagged 1.02.200 flat, but losing hope it could break 1.02. Will try Forbidden tune for comparison, and Nalak's Bacs! Max Bono.

Down a little, just a tiny bit better. 1.02.729 Same XBow GT4. I’ve tried everything else you guys have listed but I seem to do best with that. I’m really enjoying this circuit.

I tried the XBow GT4, and it's certainly very easy to drive, but I felt it had a low performance ceiling, I felt like the car didn't have much more to give.

I tried the BAC Mono and GTR LM FE, though not the same tunes mentioned above.

My best time is now with the 8C FE, which has a much higher performance ceiling, it feels like the car has a lot more to give than my performance got out of it. I can't remember what the tune is, it's whatever was good for the big FI circuit many months ago, when I was using a wheel and the car was undriveable for me. With a controller it's absolutely fine, doesn't give any hint of how it behaves with a wheel.

I drove against RB033's ghost, and the 8C FE is closer to his '99 Elise in balance between speed, acceleration, and handling than any of the other cars I tried. The 8C FE can definitely beat his time by a decent margin, but I can't come close to matching how well he takes that last corner through all the foliage.

@Bree, do you know what engine was in the 8C FE? I want to try it, plus I think we can get forzathon kms with it!

Found a way to maintain more speed on the uphill section in the second half and improved to 1:01.361, same place on the leaderboard but another 0.26ish seconds shaved off my time. I don't think I'll have any more time this week to work on this event but that time is getting close to optimal for me in the GTR LM FE.

Hey, I wasn't the only one 😄 Nobody responded to my suggestion in the first place; it fell flat and I figured it wasn't desired and/or approved. I only moved on to the manx after exhausting what felt like every single remaining vehicle. Wasnt trying to be a brazen non-gentleman. Sneaky, always, but ungentlemanly, never 😄

Just checked, it's Nalak's "S1 Handling" tune, looks like the stock engine. Tried CODCAOS' tune, which might be a different engine, it has less power and less weight, but I didn't match the time I did with Nalak's tune. Hlundh has a tune with the same power as Nalak's, but it's 1lb lighter, so that might be worth a try.

I was so curious and put my own brew together, tried stock engine and euro 6.2 (stock is slightly faster). Pulled off 1.01.89, I can gain time on the uphill from my ghost, but can't match my intro section again... sigh.

That's going to be though with my RWD build. The last turn costs so much time because I can't use the grass nor steer so harshly.
Maybe it's time for the X-Bow GT 4 now.

I’ll leave this open until Sunday evening as it feels there are still a few new builds being tried etc and I haven’t ran the LM FE at all yet. I’m fairly sure I can go quicker than my current time in the GT4 but don’t think I’d get to Aleriooon’s time with the build I’m currently using.

It's a great track. Supplying the roster with some S1 handling cars is a good thing too.

Improved slightly with RB’s 8C FE to 1.01.678. I was struggling to get a lap I was completely happy with and this one was still slow in the last corner, so sub 1.01.5 should be possible. Current leaderboard is fairly tight:

I had a run with the GT-R last night. I think it’s probably 0.5 seconds quicker than any other car I’ve tried. Did 1.01.0 using Scaans tune. I might have one more run to try and sneak under 1.01 but will be tough as that felt a strong run. Otherwise I’m done, unless anyone comes up with a new car/tune to try.

I tried the Four Cheese, Alfa Romeo Quattro Formaggi (4C), a nice 1.02.4 but that's about it.
