ForzaRC Update – May Testing
2018 was a fantastic year of growth and learning for the Forza Racing Championship. Since last year’s Forza Racing World Championship in London, the Forza Esports team at Turn 10 has been diligently working behind the scenes on the future of ForzaRC, with an eye towards continuing to iterate on and evolve the experience for both viewers and competitors alike.

With this in mind, the team has spent a great deal of effort evaluating the program and considering the feedback received to identify opportunities for both growth and innovation. The next step in that process is happening this month as the Forza Esports team heads to Los Angeles where they’ll be conducting a private week-long test. The purpose of this is to test a number of variables the team believes will play an important role in the continued evolution of ForzaRC, including various competitive formats, exploring new on-screen talent, the broadcast production, and more. This is going to be an intense and exciting week of experimentation and learning, all with an eye towards the future of ForzaRC.

But this wouldn’t be a truly informative experience without having some of the teams involved, so we’ve invited four of them from around the world to join us in L.A.: Sauber Esports, Red Bull Racing Esports, Lazarus, and Williams Esports.

These teams will be a critical part of the test, going hands on and providing direct feedback on the various elements tested throughout the week.

While we know many of you will be excited to learn more about the test and the results, this is a private test and as such there won’t be any public broadcasts or social coverage during the week. That said, we don’t plan to keep this all a secret forever and look forward to sharing more about the test as well as more about this year’s ForzaRC plans, in the months ahead.
