I must say I loved the trial this week. In this case, slower is better AND more fun. MORE PLEASE!

The problem is, 4 weeks ago i had a horrible time trying to complete the "Hyper, Hyper"-Trial. I managed to complete it back then, but i am not going to do it again this time, if in 4 weeks the trial will be reset again. I will replay the normal seasonal champisonships, but i will only do the Trial again if it will shop up as completed (with Gold) and will never be reset again.

The championships are 'new' each season. Do it again if you want the reward. If you don't want the reward then don't mess with it.

You will find enough threads here on the forum, where people were complaining about seasonal Championships on Fortune Island being already completed. This had been the case for me for many Seasons. This is the first season/time for me where the seasonal Championships got reset. So, no, they were not showing up as "new" each and every season.

What's the issue
Anything you do on fortune island doesnt affect the playlist

Drivertar difficulty on "expert"?

I recommend the Hoonigan RS200 tuned to S900 for this event. It's compact, light and very nimble. Very useful traits for the first track.

I tried about 6 cars, and this is the best one. I don't use rewinds, and this race was the hardest ever.

Who on earth made that first community route for the dirty championship? It's absolutely horrid, Checkpoints are far to narrow, far too close to each and half of them you can't see, so you just slide off the route missing them. It's everything PG's own route creator said not to do when making a route weeks.

That sort of thing seems to be standard with custom routes, so people can ambush other players with them in PvP races once they've learned how to drive it well.

I was able to complete this without locking frame rate on PC, but it seem to only count for me when I was on the highway running near max speed. If drove on any other road
no mileage counted.

Both community championship routes were pretty bad IMHO. The first route was alright except for the awful one-car-wide checkpoints near the end, the second one was just bad. Way too much tarmac for a dirt track, awful checkpoint placement on 90 degree corners.

PG, you need to do a better job of highlighting GOOD routes, not ones that make obvious mistakes that you yourself cautioned against.

After a break, rebuilt my rs200 and won. Turns out, some fool (me) had it on unbeatable and forgot to change it back. Thanks all for the assist

80% completion award for the playlist.
Rules of troubleshooting:
1) Have you tried turning it off and on again?
2) Is your Internet working?
3) https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status < Check here for service issues.
4) If all else fails open a service ticket and/or forum post.

The first route would've been better if the game bothered to render more than 2 checkpoints at a time. I didn't dislike the course, but with checkpoints that narrow and close together, you have to be able to see the next 5-6 checkpoints so you can judge your speed and angle of approach, as it was the constant pop-in basically ruined it.

Its wasn't the smoothest championship I agree. Actually, I liked the tracks, more narrow and challenging that requires some practice and skill.
The problem for me was, I couldn't enjoy it in S1 because the cars are way to fast.
A or B would have been much nicer and more enjoyable!

Yes, of course, Fortune Island has no effect on the playlist. But i had done all of them before, and now it is like the game does not remember. Let's just say, it is a personal thing, that i like the feeling of having completed things and that i enjoyed the game showing me that i have completed those events.

Let's just stop here. We don't have to discuss this any further. I am sorry that i have wasted other people's time.

I used a stock 1991 Hoonigan Gymkhana 10 Ford Escort Cosworth Group A and won both races first attempt, if you're a Car Pass owner and have that vehicle. Definitely one of the more challenging championships thus far though, do to route layouts.

You mention you forgot to change it back, like you don't normally use unbeatable drivatars. If you changed if to unbeatable, just for trials, you don't have to do that. You can leave drivatars on expert and run trials, that race automatically sets drivatars to unbeatable.

Just about made me sick playing at 30 fps, what a huge difference that makes. But it did work, not sure what the deal is with that, something for the devs to work on.

The RS200 works perfect. I use it all the time. It's already tuned from when I first got it so I didn't have to spend any cash on it this time around. Won the races without much effort using it.

Not really. If you qualify for adventure you can skip the trial and playground. If you've already qualified for adventure before (10 ranked adventures) you only need to do one qualifying ranked adventure this time around. A lot less painful than winning playground and the trail.

I feel this. Halo 4(and I think also 5) wouldn’t count my offline campaign missions towards my Service Career. I completed the campaign, but the game didn’t show that I did. I believe it may be due to the limited amount of tracks, thus limited amount of championships etc. It is a slight annoyance, but the best thing to do is know that you completed them. You should have the stat showing so I believe.

On a side note, you’re not wasting anybodys time by posting in here with curiousity.
