Tried really hard to tolerate being forced to take part in online adventure. 4 tries, team absolutely dominates and disconnected midway during the final event. Thanks for destroying the game PG :)

Ai was terrible in this one, they was super slow and only thing AI was doing was ramming, on my second try in first race AI ram me out of track even before first corner so i drop in last place and still i get in first place allready end of the second lap.

It must favour some cars, I've had no issue with it, just ran it again and it was an easy team win.

In the context of Friday night so one or three beers consumed and I'm not really driving at my best!
I don't wall ride or ram, any rubbing is friendly trading paint and I usually get a lot of clean racing skills.

Using the Lambo 750SV @ s2 998

Race 1. Started 11th, got to the front, missed two check points.... but still placed third ahead of all the DT.
Race 2. Started 9th, got to the front early then led the pack to a win. Several team mates behind me but the lambo was just leaving them on the straights. respect to them, no ramming in the corners!
Race 3. Started 8th, missed a checkpoint on a fast bit, dead last but recovered up to 4th with just one DT ahead.

The Lambo is just a beast, it reels the other cars in easy on this track. When I originally did the event, it did 11th to 1st by the first corner at Holyrood. That didn't work out tonight as there were spinning cars to dodge. The other lead cars weren't quite as fast but seem to easy out drag the AI.

I've just shared the tune if anyone wants to try it, basically max aero, weight reduction, power and gear tuning + asphalt tune.

Other cars should be similar if you go for max aero to carry speed.

So as the Lambo 750SV is a fairly rare wheelspin car, I thought I'd look for something cheap and easy to get as an alternative.

The 2012 Aventador LP700-4 fits that bill, costing 310k credits and with 21 perk points you get 200k credits back so a net 110k credits.
Unfortunately to get it competitive in S2 you need to bolt on almost all the upgrades which is a good few credits, still for under 300k all in, its a cheap car for this weeks S2 challenge.

I've run the race half a dozen times today and made a few tune changes, no S2 car is going to be super easy to drive but it is fast enough and reasonably settled so I can beat the AI in any race where I don't miss a checkpoint and even in those I do, I can usually pass most of the AI on the short races even with the 15s+ deficit. In the last Holyrood race, I was punted out of a checkpoint at the start so was dead last and was still able to be ahead of all the AI by lap 4.

Other cars are probably faster, or better driven than I can manage, but this can do the job. In most races you only need to be ahead of 2-3 AI for t team to win and the lower ranked AI are straightforward to get around with tuned car. I think this is about as cheap as you can go...

Shared the LP700 tune if anyone wants it seeing as my SV750 tune is getting a lots of downloads and uses.

So do we have to shoot for 100% this week or can we just do the 80%? and same question for last week's season

According to the comms 80% should be enough.
I'm still aiming for 100% for the first 3 weeks as that should be enough to get 80% of the season by early in the third week.

I'm really sorry to those I left from during the #Forzathon Live event, but the dang game glitched and it froze my "influence" tracker for the event and I couldn't trigger the speed zone anymore. And currently the only way to fix it is to close the game and go back in. I usually never like to leave people hang like that, but either way I would've been useless thanks to the game not closing the speed zone influence tracker. :(

It still counts, things just don't display for you correctly. I've done a seasonal PR stunt while the skill bar is stuck on the screen, still got the objective/influence/etc.

The speed zone/danger signs etc still trigger, it just doesn't seem like it and you can't see your current score. You'd have been ok carrying on until the event was done and earning your points before restarting the game, but I agree, the progress update at the bottom of the screen not disappearing after leveling up is bloody annoying. It's been like that for months, and I'd have thought they'd have fixed it by now.... It used to disappear after doing a race or travelling from/to Fortune Island, but even that doesn't work now.
I could agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong

Well, I guess only for me then it doesn't like to work. Because, whenever I went through the speed zone with that bar stuck at the bottom, it didn't trigger the speed zone, like at all. It kept telling me to turn around when it was safe to do so, and it only does that if you didn't trigger the speed zone. It does this even when I'm not doing forzathon live, when I drove through a speed trap, that influence bar popped up and didn't go away. And when I tried to go through a drift zone, it didn't trigger it because it was still stuck on the last motion triggered zone that I passed through. I don't know, I guess the game doesn't like me. :( I won't let it stop me though, I'll still keep doing them even if the game lags or goes out of it's way to freeze and stuff.

That happened to me once and I had to quit as well. The other posters haven't understood the point you were making. Don't worry about it, it's a bug with the game, not your fault, nothing you can do.

So it's like it got *stuck* in the moments after finishing a speed/drift zone where it won't let you start another PR event until it finishes cycling through all its tallies. Bad times. It's a mildly irritating delay even when it doesn't get stuck.

So like everyone else I’m basically hating the changes but I was wondering want you need to complete to get 100% I really want that gto, I’ve completed everything except the monthly adventure thing and the challenges that haven’t come out yet and I’m only at 79% everything o read said I shouldn’t have to complete the adventure but these numbers aren’t adding up, soooo will the weekly objectives really get me the missing percent or do I have to do the adventure too, cause I really have issues with adventure

daily challenges get you 1% each, so there is 7 % from each week
you only need 80% , which will be activated soon, and will retroactive
it shows on the playlist screen what things you need to do

CHAMPIONSHIPS:
Don't Need Roads (A800 Extreme Offroad): Jeep Trailcat: A800 (EZ Season Win) - you should be able to get the daily challenge for 2 airborne passes completed incidental to completing this event.
All Fall Down (C600 Classic Rally): '73 Ford Escort RS1600 C600 (EZ Season Win) - you should be able to get the daily challenge for 2 airborne passes completed incidental to completing this event.
Railyard Rumble (S1900 Rally Monster): I still need to make some tweaks, I don't want to promote tunes that are not finished. My testers and I were not pleased with the landing after jumps and handling over some of the smaller bumps and I need to reduce some oversteer issues. While we still all won the event with the tunes, it took a lot of concentration not to lose control (we use co-op when testing so there is no rewinding of drivatars).

THE TRIAL
Porsche 918 S2988 (S2 EZ Trial Win) *kept 10pts PI from max to keep handling manageable for more players

WEEKLY FORZATHON
Bowler EXR S S1900 (EZ Season Win 2)

PLAYGROUND GAMES (in order of preference):
Regalia Type D A800 (A Ranked)
Jeep Trailcat A800 (EZ Season Win) *same tune as the Don't Need Roads.

PR STUNTS:
Speed Zone: Mosler MT900S: X999 (Can't remember what I named it, maybe X Rocket). I take the run from the southwest end of the zone, going uphill, it allows for a faster run down the straight before the bridge, brake enough to make the turn onto the bridge (you can hit the solid/non-breakable bridge barrier to help keep you on track) and gas it up the hill (not too much though that you miss the end gate).
Danger Sign: Toyota Hilux Arctic Trucks AT38: S2 (Can't remember what I named it), aim a little left so you can land on the road and not on the roof of a house.
Drift Zone: #25 RTR Mustang (50% reward this season): S1 (EZ Drift Tune). I take the run from the East side of the drift zone so it leaves the long sweeping turn for last. >66k was my PB so far with it. If you friend my account on xbox live, I think you can go to my captures and view a video on the path I take for the drift run, it would be my latest video capture. I can try uploading it later.

And that monthly adventure for ranked is worth 18%. Gives a couple daily wiggle room.

Look at this guys post: https://forums.forzamoto...rch-28.aspx#post_1076531

Tells you what tune and car to use (you can probably use any formula drift car as well), also has link to video on the route you should take and what speed/gear to be in for the tune he posted.

Also, you can tell from the video the speedometer shows he runs his car without traction control or stability, so you need to make sure those two things are off to help maintain that wheel spin and ability to have the car slide around easier. It takes some practice to get the right amount of throttle to keep the car sliding without spinning out, but I was able to reach the 46k goal pretty easily after getting the hang of it.

So, just a real quick question... what car is on the picture of the Autumn Seasonal STRATHBRIDGE PR Stunt? It looks like a retro super car, but I'm not 100% sure and I'd like to give it a test drive. :) That is all.

Edit: Nevermind, I found it. It's the 10,000,000 CR 1966 Ford #2 GT40 MK II LE MANS. One crazy name for one crazy expensive car. XP

Ha ha! Del Boy drifting ...cushty

for giggles I have just tried it with a Morris Minor ... yay - managed over 50k (nothing tidy enough to warrant a video capture) ... the car needs some proper suspension tuning though as it's very bouncy

edit #2 THE Drift Morris Minor has arrived! ... 61,470 (Bill & Ted guitar riff plays in head)
and I think there could be more to come but I will probably leave it there
