The drift zone was slightly challenging though my PB was already better than the requirement. I got 53k in the end and that is a subpar score which is only in the top 8% of the leaderboard.

There was a danger jump a month or two ago which took me hours to get. It provoked a lot of discussion online where people discussed what cars and tunes to use, the line to take etc. That is how it should be! A real challenge. And a real feeling of satisfaction when you do it.
Just the opposite for me. I more than nailed the danger zone on the first try. I can't even come close (within 20 mph) on the speed zone. I will keep at it, even though I am currently at 81% for the new week already. I just need the speed zone, drift zone and the rest of the dailies.

Sounds like me ... the danger sign I aced first jump (Toyota Baja truck) ... the speed zone took quite a few attempts in various cars ... think it was Mclaren Senna that got it for me

IIRC the one that sparked a lot of chat was the winter windmill - it was soooooo much farther than the 3* and the run up was on snow!

Did anyone really needed to tune their cars for the classic rally races? Just won them in my stock Fiat on first attempt.

But the whole point was to force multiplayer in the face of (because of?) more than 100 pages of complaints about it.

A friend had the same high value autoshow car as top prize for 100%, I think that's a good idea. I've never paid for 9ne, have a few from wheelspins, already had this week's high value forzathon shop car.

That's a great idea, to occasionally have high-priced autoshow cars as prizes in place of things like wheelspins, or the high-percent playlist prize. Remember a few weeks back when there was a championship that the only elegable cars were vintage racers that were 10 million credits, or a barn find that only unlocked when you bought a castle? This way if a championship like that comes up again, people would be more likely to have the car already, and not need to spend the 10 million they might not have.

From what i can tell, it doesn't automatically give you the car until you click on the Festival Playlist tab AFTER you have reached the 50%/100% goal. The tab should have a small circle with a number in the lower corner, just like with a standard menu tab notification. Once you click on the FP tab, you should get a notice about the cars, and they will then be added to your garage.

So, let me get this straight...the completion reduction from 100% to 80%, does that apply to the weekly challenges, or the monthly series total, or both? Does that mean we can get the Ford Capri FE at the end of series 7 with only 80% completion?

The answer is No for sure cause, I haven't went that far to get to that 100%, but I only go towards the 50% mark to get the first car prize.

I'm genuinely surprised by that. I sometimes put up a YouTube video of me doing these events but only if I think they're sufficiently tricky that the average person might struggle with it. The last few weeks they were all so easy I didn't bother.

^ That would be greatly appreciated. I struggled a bit last week, too, but eventually found the best line for me, then it was just a matter to repeat, repeat until I nailed the time. When I finally did, it was a good bit over what was needed. I just haven't found the line this week.

1,201 ft on the Mam Tor danger sign was a good one which took me hours to get. I wish they all had that kind of difficulty.

I used an MC12 FE for the speed zone this week but the Mosler tops the leaderboards. Anything tuned towards handling and max downforce is my preference and I think most people would find such tunes easier, so it isn't so much about the car but how it's set up. ie. there will be McLaren Sennas which are tuned to understeer in exchange for top speed, which isn't generally good for speed zones.

Here you go... I did it far from perfectly and still got 150mph. 140mph is very achievable in most S2 or X class cars tuned for handling.

Need Tunes/Suggestions to help speed up the grind to complete your playlist?

CHAMPIONSHIPS:
Don't Need Roads (A800 Extreme Offroad): Jeep Trailcat: A800 (EZ Season Win) - you should be able to get the daily challenge for 2 airborne passes completed incidental to completing this event.
All Fall Down (C600 Classic Rally): '73 Ford Escort RS1600 C600 (EZ Season Win) - you should be able to get the daily challenge for 2 airborne passes completed incidental to completing this event.
Railyard Rumble (S1900 Rally Monster): I still need to make some tweaks, I don't want to promote tunes that are not finished. My testers and I were not pleased with the landing after jumps and handling over some of the smaller bumps and I need to reduce some oversteer issues. While we still all won the event with the tunes, it took a lot of concentration not to lose control (we use co-op when testing so there is no rewinding of drivatars).

THE TRIAL
Porsche 918 S2988 (S2 EZ Trial Win) *kept 10pts PI from max to keep handling manageable for more players

WEEKLY FORZATHON
Bowler EXR S S1900 (EZ Season Win 2)

PLAYGROUND GAMES (in order of preference):
Regalia Type D A800 (A Ranked)
Jeep Trailcat A800 (EZ Season Win) *same tune as the Don't Need Roads.

PR STUNTS:
Speed Zone: Mosler MT900S: X999 (Can't remember what I named it, maybe X Rocket). I take the run from the southwest end of the zone, going uphill, it allows for a faster run down the straight before the bridge, brake enough to make the turn onto the bridge (you can hit the solid/non-breakable bridge barrier to help keep you on track) and gas it up the hill (not too much though that you miss the end gate).
Danger Sign: Toyota Hilux Arctic Trucks AT38: S2 (Can't remember what I named it), aim a little left so you can land on the road and not on the roof of a house.
Drift Zone: #25 RTR Mustang (50% reward this season): S1 (EZ Drift Tune). I take the run from the East side of the drift zone so it leaves the long sweeping turn for last. >66k was my PB so far with it. If you friend my account on xbox live, I think you can go to my captures and view a video on the path I take for the drift run, it would be my latest video capture. I can try uploading it later.

Those top scores on that speed zone are insane and no other car than mosler dont come even close on those scores.

Definitely finding the challenges more tolerable (and enjoyable), and the prizes a little better then last week for sure. The forzathon shop Aston is a great choice, bought 3 right off the bat.

I hate drifting in drift zones, finally tried a few of the drift oriented cars, what a disaster for me. Switched to my skill point machine Renault 5 FE- that can rack up 100 skill points on one of the longer Skill songs- and easily slid through the whole course on the first try.

Much less of a grind then last week, loved both the rally events.

For me it shows that you care about everybody and not just the more skilled players ( and those with Internet issues as well ) you have restored my confidence 🙂

You weren't exaggerating about the Volvo tune. Used it today and won all 3 races first time by quite a good margin. Many thanks.

Cool!
I wasn't imagining it! :D

I ran a different car for each of the three Classic Rally races in the Seasonal Championship....all at Pro difficulty: Lancia Stratos- 2nd place to the Volvo, Fiat Abarth- 1st place, '73 Escort- 1st place.
Won the championship on the 1st try. :) I love this rally class. A lot of fun!

I'm still going to finish team adventure to ranked, only need two more events, even though I hate it. At least if it's a requirement monthly I'll get that 'bump' right off the bat. 80% is quite forgiving, even 90%. I can see some people getting hosed by being out of town for a few days(let alone being a parent!) for the dallies with no recourse @100% is really tough. Although, like most others, now I want to know what my ADDITIONAL 100% reward will be!! :)

That's me next week. Leaving early Wednesday which would leave me at 99% and missing the GTO. I'm so happy for the change.

Still there was been many people who is struggle to get those, i spent somethink like 5-6 hours on that speedzone today and see lots of peoples using bugatti's and FE aventador etc that are not best fit on speed zones. I was finally able to hit top10 in that speedzone so if anyone is wonder how peoples get 315km/h on that speedzone here's the video.

There is a trial event on Fortune Island, do we have to do that too to get 100 percent.
