If you got over 80% in Summer) - You will still receive the Porsche.

Aye ... that's a short drift zone so not much room for error ... thankfully it is less than my PB so I have high hopes

My weapon of choice for drifting is the Hoonigan Gymkhana 9 Focus RS RX, got the drift zone on the 2nd try with a PB to boot. Speed zone was done with the Mosler, first pass 139.99 (how annoying was that?) and 2nd pass smashed the target easily.

8) 6% Seasonal championship #3
9) 6% Trial
10) 6% Playground games
11) 6% Showcase remix
12)18% Ranked online status
13) 6% Rivals clean lap

This week's Playlist has basically 12 challenges (no showcase remix):

6% 3) Trial
6% 4) Seasonal Playground Games

All too easy this week imo... I realise skill level varies but I prefer the ones that need multiple tries and a bit of thought into how to get them. These were all a relative cakewalk and I did them in no time.

Shame cos the PR stunts are my favourite thing left in the game really, and 10 mins of play a week isn't quite enough.

I'm really not good at drifting, but had been practising over the past couple of days. Good to see the target is only just over the 3 star.

After a few false starts where I was struggling to hit 30k I realised I was in 1st gear manual, usually drive in auto as it's simpler + had the sound off so no audio clue.

Notched it up to 3rd and got it on the second go using the stock #777 FD 240SX, of all the cars I tried over last couple of days it seem to suit the slower tighter area.

So not that brutal

Well, remember. The setting on challenges are set to be difficult, but still reasonably possible for the average player. They cannot set them based on what would be difficult for a person with a perfectly tuned car and hundreds of hours in the seat.

This drift zone, and the one in spring are easier ones. Good incentive to help learn countersteer. This one is more than doable with a rally car, dont need an FD. Player will find themselves more proficient at rally. It is a good one to practice on.

Some of them are pretty challenging for me, others are so easy it's silly, and anyone remotely competent would do them at a canter. Like the speed zone this week.

The danger jump took me half a dozen tries to get a clean landing but otherwise was very very easy again.

The drift zone was slightly challenging though my PB was already better than the requirement. I got 53k in the end and that is a subpar score which is only in the top 8% of the leaderboard.

There was a danger jump a month or two ago which took me hours to get. It provoked a lot of discussion online where people discussed what cars and tunes to use, the line to take etc. That is how it should be! A real challenge. And a real feeling of satisfaction when you do it.

I too love the PR stuff. I do that before I even do the championships. Every season change I jump to the island, do those PRs then back to the mainland. But since trials are a thing now on the island, i'm there a little longer to complete that.

There is just so big variation of skill of players that making real challenge is not so easy when need to think abaout more casual players also, like this week drift zone less than 25% of players that is get score there is done 3 stars so in most peoples just to getting current seasonal target score would be challenge and same time i did all this week PR stunts in first try without never even watching what seasonal targets are. Sure it would be great if those would be more challencing but in same time i realize that then those would be too challencing too many players.

Hopefully this 80% fix will go in soon so I can skip the drifting challenge.

As someone who doesn't 'get' drifting and hasn't completed the stories, all I have to show for trying is a migraine, motion sickness, and a top fluke score of 33,000. And the target is 46,000? Nope.

The 80% target is a good start, but still kindof grindey, and I think still requires the co-op trial, which I have never won. So I'm probably still not going to bother with it. A little more adjustment wouldn't hurt.

But, I'm just going to throw this out there as a suggestion while it's on my mind to see what others think about it:

You know how the Fortune Island seasonal prizes are always just wheelspins? That's fair. That way, even people who don't own the DLC still have a chance at the exclusive content prizes.

But, what if people who did own the DLC could have Fortune Island and the future yet-to-be-named DLC seasonals count toward their completion. That way, people who don't own the DLC don't have to buy it if they don't want to, and still have a shot at the playlist prizes. But people who do own the DLC have more options as to how they go about completing the playlist.

Seriously, I went into Fortune Island this week for the first time in weeks, because I'd been grinding at all the mainland chores. Now that I've done most of what there is to do over there, I often forget I even have it. Give me a reason to go back.

The drift stories can be completed and 3 starred with Traction Control switched on, so you don't spin out so much. Just steer side to side and you don't need to try too hard to control the drift as TCS does it for you. Once you have enough points, drive normally to the finish so you don't run out of time :-)

I used the Hoonigan RS200 from last week's Forzathon to bang out the drift and jump PR. Super easy with that car. And the Mosler for the speed zone ran almost 10mph over the PR speed needed.

As for the new 80% completion... I tried to 100% last month. Did the Playground Games for the first time and managed to win but hated every second of it. Also did the Trial for the first time ever and really enjoyed it. However trying to get ranked to satisfy that requirement and getting disconnected twice after finishing 5 rounds really was not cool. Glad I can skip that now. Otherwise as long as the events are actually playable, I like the new format. Not really looking forward to more Playground Games but small price to pay for a nice car.
