Since Xmas i have been trying to complete my collection of PO cars from the AH. I finally got my last car yesterday the Ford Focus PO. when i was talking to some guys on a facebook fan page last night i was told to DELETE it and get rid of it because i could get banned ?

Firstly i understand it was meant to be a TOYS R US exclusive but they went bust. Secondly the car is still in the game and is SEARCHABLE and BUYABLE from the AH. I am after some official clarification as a LEGIT buyer and racer who bought it from AH can it get me in trouble. I hope not as i love collecting all the rare cars.

Hope somebody can shed some light on this as there are RUMORS everywhere on facebook.

I have all of them and im not gonna delete them, there is allready thousands of those out there so i gonna bet PG is not gonna start tracking 7 million accounts and ban those who have some of these cars.

I don't understand... Why would you be banned? What's special about the cars besides being toys r us related?

The PO cars belong to the person who ordered it and they can do it as they see fit, including sell them at the auction house.

Where people have gotten in trouble is when they have done stuff outside the rules to get it. Now they and us are not permitted to discuss moderation and events around bans here but others own without issue all the PO cars.

After all, that is why we have the seller's marketplace. So if you paid in the AH what would be reasonable for a PO and not say 1000 credits, you should have no problem. Low credit payments are a flag to RMT concerns and is most likely where bans around a PO transaction occured.

Edit: as for the Toys R Us part, I have no info on that specifically. But if there is some reason that it should not be in game, your best bet is to file a support ticket asking for official verification.

Well problem is nobody even know where these few PO cars is come, i have talk with few guys who have these in really early and both of them say they get them from friend. There is been some speculation that devs actually list those cars in sometimes, somebody is say that her friend get all PO cars as pre-order bonus. But only thing we can know right now is those are never officaly released but somehow they end up being in game before christmas and after that they have been more and more common in auction house.

There were players adding HS cars and various PO cars to the game by hacking save data. And they sold it at AH.
A few weeks ago, it was confirmed by reddit user etc that these cars were sold, and the PG staff already knows it.
And RetroKrystal already warns about these cars.

RetroKrystal as Community Liasion still communicates to player, to report other player if it is seen that a car is used, which they should not have.

How do the 7 million players know which cars are allowed and which are not?

On Reddit, DaCoPilot from the Turn 10 Community Team writes that this "memo" and its contents are not true.
So no Ban, if you own such a car.
https://www.reddit.com/r...pes_and_modders/efbb2if/

What do we learn from this?
The communication between Turn 10 and PG should be improved and sometimes a suitable statement should be published.

This is just the usual FUD on the interweb.

Almost all the PO cars are freely available. Any account that logs into my xbox gets a Senna, a PO Mclaren and a Zonda FE, not to mention all the car pack cars etc.
The PO car can be sold from every account, so anyone with a PO licence can make a duplicate PO CARS to sell in an alternate account with just over an hours play.
You need to get to Autum and then complete the first race so the player house unlocks. This means its no surprise lots of PO cars are available when people will pay millions of credits for a chance to bid on one.

The bigger issue is that cars are also being cloned at a near industrial rate and then often sold on to those we big buckets of cloned credits. I mean seriously, I doubt there is a mass market for 20m - 50m cars if those credits are earned by hours and hours grinding or buying and selling on the AH for 0.5m profit per car..

So back on topic, you bought a car from the auction house, how can that possible warrant a ban?
The company has made no official statement that is widely available, or any definitive statement I've heard of regarding these cars so there is no breach trigger enforcement.
There has a been a very small amount of ' you shouldn't' hinted at in the forums, thats about all I've seen

The mods may ask users to report car usage so they can guage the impact this is having on the game and keep track of any other vehicles introduced.
Given none of these cars are class breakers (except the HS taxi), there is no genuine reason for anyone to complain and most people probably don't even know which cars are which as there is no official list anywhere. Not even the autoshow lists all available cars.

If some people are routinely trolling others e.g. using the HS taxi to compete unfairly then I can see this triggering some action, though mostly likely a short duration warning than a ban for gameplay abuse etc.

The PO focus in itself is more a novelty, not particularly fast, not finished and the main issue issue is more likely to be licencing with Ford in having a semi broken model in the game.

So overall, I'm not going to lose any sleep about buying cars from the auction. I expect there may be some action in the wings, the AH was down the other day and that may have been for a server code update to allow more monitoring. The action I expect will be for far more serious breaches than buying an unofficially released car

The Focus PO is unreleased. Do you consider your collection incomplete because you don't have the traffic bus? It would be no different.

It definitely is different. The difference being that no one owns or drives the Bus. Others however can own and drive the Focus PO.

No one has the focus PO anymore.. They took them all out of the game. It's unavailable to search in auction house as well.

(someone correct me if i'm wrong).

Yeah, you can still have the Focus PO if you acquired it before they took It out of the AH. However, you can no longer sell them or acquire them in any way.

I thought there was a stop sale in AH on them? Very low prices on PO's too. Porsche, 720 all hard to get > 2-300k for non legendary tuner/painter.
You can't sell the R35 or AMG PO either.
FE Capri and 812 bring little $, less than a mil for the 812, upper 200's for Capri.
