Same... The Nova FE is so common they are worthless in AH. Fat chance of ever getting rid of them now!!!

Cars that should just be removed from the game:

  • Subaru Legacy

  • Other such common garbage

Absolutely not, used to own a 1991 Legacy Turbo it was a great little car.

Please, could anyone still help me out to complete the seasonal coop-championship - Mountain Rumble?
Because it's super difficult with random people & especially when they don't max out or buy some performance parts to reach the required max PI for such events.

Btw. I also have enough money to buy the best suitable SUV hero for this championship.
For now I just maxed out my Alfa Romeo Stelvio Q4 to A 800.

I'm also looking for people for future seasonal coop-championships.

Did the same thing with "Shake Your Tail Feather". I had a stock Ferrari Dino already, and all I did was adjust the tire pressure. Won it on the first try.

Starting off by upgrading the car for a weekly challenge is usually a bad move/

A:If you've never upgraded it before what are the chances of of you driving it afterwards? (thus the money is wasted)

B:Even if you download a premade tune, chances are a ton of garbage tunes are being posted that week by clueless tuners

Which is partly my point. I've been messing around with upgrades and tuning a lot lately, and it gets habit forming. I almost always drive the car around a bit stock before doing anything, and get a feeling for it. But my main instinct lately is to go into the shop and start putting on better tires, suspension, unlock the tuning options, and such, and it just escalates from there. Some cars, it's absolutely necessary.

So when these weekly challenges roll around, we all get into tinker mode, and try different tunes to make it easier, or just to get through it faster, and come into the forums and make a lot of hay about our tuning setups. But in a lot of cases, like these, the stock setup is perfectly drivable, and even competitive within its class. It helps, too, that the AI is capped at more or less the player's PI.

It really doesn't make sense to have drift/e-drift skills as a challenge for a front-wheel drive car. Yes, I know you can swap it but then you might as well just make a rear-wheel drive car the featured car for the week. Something to consider for future Forzathons.

Despite of this, I did the e-drift skills using FWD setup :>

I still need to complete it too. I've been putting it off because like you said randoms are no help. I kept getting brand new players. Not even 1 star players. Imagine my luck

I agree with you on this but what about the distance counter. Mine hasnt even reached 2 miles of the 12 yet and this season is almost over. Do you think the new update will fix it or have any tricks that may get it working?

Forza junkie since FM2. Horizons are the break I need from the track. 🏁🏁

FH4 and I have a volatile love/hate relationship 😑

Hopefully FH5 will treat me better 😬😬

I suck at drifting, and even I was able to get this one without swapping it. Gun it down the airstrip to build up speed, kick off a drift, and slide out into the field.

Thankfully, they usually set the drift challenges low enough that it's not too high a bar to clear even if it's not something you're usually good at. (bugs not withstanding). One of these days, they're going to ask us to 3-star a drift zone or something, and I'll be like "You know what? This might be a good week to take a break".

I had the same problem, with the counter stuck on 0.18mi/12mi since Thursday last week. Today I upgraded my Volvo from B Class to S1 with the Rally engine and AWD and voila, the mileage counter was fixed instantly. A drive up and down the highway gave me the achievement and a few drifts around the roundabout at the end of the highway saw the challenge complete. Bloody annoying, but I'm glad it's done. Not that the 6- bonus points will appear, but at least I got the 200 now.
I could agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong

I did try it but I will try it again once more when I get home. Did you change it and then reset the game? Or just change the setting and go for a drive?

@Dog8MyGamertag: I did swap in the other engine but it isnt the rally engine. I'll try that too and see what happens

I think that was the point, get people to do something they may not have tried before. Honestly, it was extremely easy, since you just hold the ebrake and drag the rear tires around. Swapping to RWD is missing the point entirely.

I just changed it. Looked at the speedo and it was miles, run the highway, got it and changed back.
At least i think i did it like that, but to be sure you should restart. I hope the best mate!

Another ******** coop event PG has the secret, combining every worst stuff FH4 can offer : Bad driving people, cheaty godlike drivatars, offroad maniability randomness due to unavoidable roll over following badly programmed jumps making you going from 1st place to last, and last but not least, the cherry on the pie : A nice sticker t-shirt you've all been dreaming on as a reward !

10/10
Thanks a lot PG, i had so much fun failing this event again and again.

Counter still isnt moving. I submitted a ticket but they probably wont be able to fix it before the next season rolls in. Its currently at 1.91 of the 12 miles. How crazy is that? Maybe i'll try a RWD or AWD conversion to get it working?

That's sad, at least it's "just" FP you miss and nothing special.

I just drove around in the country area below the roads to the south, about 4 miles end to end so three bumpy runs and all was good.
Used the totally stock car

In the ticket they suggested use performance mode but I run in performance, so i switched to quality and the damn counter started ticking! How crazy is that?

For last Spring, was the Hoonigan RS200 in the "Old Rivals" seasonal a regular car that you could get in Autoshow?
