Anyone else see the final round of the BTCC at Brands Hatch GP circuit today? The championship had already been won by Colin Turkington, but the the sun was shining and conditions were prefect so the whole grid was after going out with a win to take into the winter break. Rob Austin took an early lead with his Alfa but Josh Cook soon fought back and wrestled the lead back within a couple of laps in his Vauxhall Astra. Cue last year's champion (and phenomenal driver) Ash Sutton in his Subaru Levorg to come charging through the field into Second. He was clearly faster but for 10 laps Josh Cook managed to hold him off, putting his car on every apex, forcing Ash to go round the outside. Twice he managed to put his nose alongside, the spent a whole lap almost side by side, ash even got in front briefly but Josh somehow found a miracle cutback. Last lap and around Clarke Curve for the final time and Sutton somehow throws his car up the OUTSIDE and got the run down the straight, winning the race by 3 thousandths of a second. Now THAT is racing.

Fully agree man. Touring cars - best type of racing there is. Hands down.
