Doodley Squat 5 year memorial tribute paint. Taken from the Toon Patrol NASCAR collab he did with Evil Will Rise back on Forza 4.



So i started listening to J-rock right before i bought my 360 and started painting in Forza 4. Pretty much all my paints have been made to a Japanese alternative punk rock or shoegaze or post rock soundtrack. I always meant to paint an album cover or something, but i guess i wanted to get some practice in first!
This year I've been listening to a lot of Gusya Ningen and buying their back catalogue up from Yahoo auctions through a proxy service. When they announced a special gig at the same time my firms Christmas Vacation starts, i texted Kame, the guitarist, and asked, in bad Japanese, to reserve me a ticket. She's awesome, so she did! I scheduled a few extra days off in the hope the jet lag will of wore of before the show!
The wait is killing me so i had to do something to fill the time....

Gorgeous paints! Especially love the Tomb Raider liveries.

Amazing photo-realism, excellent shadow work. Any time I see DLK I know to brace myself for some very beautiful fantasy paints. Very nice job on all of these!

Thanks HotRod and Nightstalker, it's good to see you both around.
I think i'm gonna take a break from the forums, my shift at work changed and no painting or studying is getting done. All time sucks are going to have to go, which includes photos here and all the signing in, loading screens that entails. The number of times i had to sign in just to get my entry for the paintcomp in was ridiculous. Haven't seen any rewards from either of the last two comps, so i guess im not even placing anyway. The only reason i can upload theese images is because i have them still saved in a note.
If i paint anything new, i'll show them.

Sorry to hear about your situation and I am hoping you'll be able to find more time in the booth soon. That being said that Land Rover is incredible. Very nice job as always, you know I'm in awe of your photorealistic detail. Very fitting for Horizon Winter as well. Keep in there and I'm looking forward to more soon!

Well first off, a long overdue thanks to Ace, AB and Dubh for the kind words. I have three whips from back then that were never finished....
Lately though I've been busy in the both with American Eagle Disabled American Veterans and Doodley Squat tribute paints both started and finished and a Lionesses England Women's National Football team project in full steam. Enjoying painting and playing and finding a little time for the forums.
Cleaned up this thread and my creative hub so everything is a little more synced.

There's a secret about Sucker Punch that not many people know about, it syncs to a couple of David Guetta albums in such a way that you can hardly tell that the sound was turned off. The coincidence is magical... take a look, I have uploaded the entire thing...

It's just a coincidence, but the whole movie works, and the story is still told in the words of the songs. If you watch you will see a coincidence every second, such things like the word bullet proof glass is said in the song, and you are shown a lightbulb which gets hit by a bullet.

The tracks of the song are played pretty much in their correct order, just 1 track taken out.

I post this presuming that you like the films on you vehicles.

Glad you like the Lionesses paint, C-bob, it's now a project. Painted the keeper on the Aston Zagato in FM7 but found out the car isn't (hasn't yet?) in H4.
Sucker punch has finally received an official Horizon 4 version, on the Durango.
Also going to cycle my Saloon car variants in and out for the next few weeks, I'll try to find some time for pics, but painting is priority.

Nice work on the graphics. Hard to believe you can get all that in the 3000 layer budget. Who would have thought mini-skirts and bare midriffs would make such effective combat attire?

On a more serious note, I don't have a Memorial Day paint as such, but thought it would be a good weekend to share a full Disabled American Veterans paint that the Eagle was requested for. For Horizon I chose the Ford F-150 Raptor.
