Hello every One. As i can see influence is The new xp lvl up matter. So maybe someone know what is The max lvl? In FH3 were just 1k lvl and for my playing a lot was shame, becouse other forza games(motorsport) had more. Same for garage space. Tried to colect all Cars plus a bit more and fuuuuullll... A bit shame. Thanks for news.

Nobody is max level so nobody knows, the game isn't even in early access yet. The reviewers and Youtubers with early copies are not grinding the game.

I think the limits have gone up for each game in the series. FH3 let you go up to player level 1000 when your level turned into a Star icon. Wasn't aware there was a garage limit - think I had ~450 cars and rarely sold any. If there was a limit then presumably FM7 raised it as that had an achievement for buying 700 cars.

But just speculation at this stage.

Wait for the game to be out a few weeks, someone to find the 50 laps of Goliath equivalent race, do that for a few days and report back with a YT video of their end of race screen rolling through level ups

Pretty sure it has been 1000 since FM4.

Garage limit was 550 for every game before FM7, which raised the limit to 900. It is confirmed FH4 Garage limit will also be 900.

Forza Horizon 4 theoretically doesn't have a maximum level.

Instead, a "prestige" system (similar to most online shooters) exists where once you reach Level 200 you get a star (and number) next to your profile, before starting back at 1 again.

I have reached the max level and it's 200 then afterwards you get a 1 then a star above it

In the final level of FH3 your level is a gold star and it doesn't get any higher than that I think. I remember encountering a few players in FH3 who had reached that level before heading over to FH4.

I think i'm at 231, I wonder once I get to 400 if i'll get 2 stars next to my name. It might be one star per 200 levels

Max level has to go up with each tier. I'm first tier level 254 and haven't hit second tier yet.

Okay so, for every prestige, it adds another 100 levels before you can prestige again.
Level 1 is 200,
Level 2 is 300,
3 - 400
4 - 500
5 - 600
6 - 700 etc.

All of that together combines to make a max level of 9999.
There's something beautiful about that.

Does the influence needed per level get affected by your level or prestige?

IE: Influence needed to get from level 1 to 2 at 0 prestige = from level 1 to 2 at 10 prestige?

Here is the real story on Levels and Stars.

Thursday, 02 January, 2020
After reaching each level you go back to Zero, except @1,100 you get the Shield, then continue to 1,500 to reach Level 10, then you go back to Zero and start counting again. No idea how much it takes to reach Level 11? I’m not there yet!

Here are the Levels Needed To Reach the Star numbers!

FH4-Influence Levels!

01=200
02=300
03=400
04=500
05=600
06=700
07=800
08=900
09=1000
Next @1,100 you get a Black/White Shield added!
10=1,500
11??

I assume? nobody who has the max level so far has done it legitimately? I saw one in a game earlier.

I've played for 950 hours and am prestige level 3 only.

Gotta say I preferred the FH3 system. I don't like how you can get to the silver and gold colours and then have to go back to the other colours again. Should have made prestige, if we had to have such a system, like Call of Duty where you can choose whether to prestige or not.

Wait a minute, that doesn't make any sense. You have 950 hours in the game and you're still at level 3?! How many hours do you have under "Time Driven" in stats? I'm at 339 hours and I'm halfway through to prestige level 5 now, how the...?

Just had a look, time driven is 353 hours. 185 of that is in online adventures.

Total is 989 hours now.

The thing with the current level system is it's meaningless when people who've played for hundreds of hours can look like they're ranked in single figures (because they have prestiged and have a miniscule star and number next to their rank) and a standard colour, but someone else can have a big number and gold. Which looks better, 500 and gold, or 3 and red (or whatever) and a little star and a tiny 5?

The prestige system in CoD worked because it gave you a unique icon for each level. In Forza you get nothing, and yet the prestige is forced whereas in CoD it was optional.

Do PG devs play other games to know these things?

No way its legit. I think I have something like 1225 hours driven but 3141 hours spent in the game. I still have 400 levels before I get my 10th star. Completely maxed with 10 stars and 2999 seems impossible as of today

Yeah it takes too long imo - people like us who have played the game way more than most people will ever play it, should be closing in on the top levels by now.

I realise PG wanted to promote longevity by giving people something to aim for but I think they got a bit carried away and underestimated how long it would take.

Watching Mixer streams helps with the levelling and actually playing the game on stream levels you up faster but I'm not sure how much. So a streamer who plays the game on mixer could be way ahead of regular players.

Thats why i'm way ahead of regular players. I stream the game every now and then but its been a month or 2 since I've done that. I probably should have my 10th star by now but its coming.....soon
