It isn't broke so it can't be fixed. If you reached your limit you have to wait 24 hours. Happens to me sometimes. It's designed that way.

Anyone still wanting an Apollo should be able to get one easily in the AH now - provided you have about £17 million to spend (will be £20 million by this time tomorrow). Amazing what a difference the max buyout is making.

The Hoonigan RS200 is also now readily available for about £12 million if anyone needs that.

Wow now anyone can sell some of the cars for 20 million cr. With the increase and now common to see in the AH, I don't think they are worth 20 million cr if they are no longer rare to find in the AH.

With this being done now you don't need to be a legend tuner or painter to sell rare cars for 20 mil.

Close to everyone having an Apollo they wanna sell are waiting for the max buyout to be 20Million. I'm curious to see if they all willl be sold at the max buyout price...
I have already sold some of mine at 17 million just in case, i'm rich enough to do so ;)

Everything is awesome! Average players like me have a chance to sell their duplicates for way more than before. And now a lot more rare cars are being sold, so us shlubs can acquire cars we don't already have for a fraction of what they used to go for, if you were lucky enough to find them at all.

At one stage when I looked last night, there were between 10-15 Apollo’s listed at the £16.8 million figure. This was compared to all of them selling in seconds the day before. Some of them had been listed for over 5 minutes, so it’s making a difference. As you say, when it hits £20 million (1am tonight UK time being my prediction as that seems to be the time the price changes) I’d expect supply to outstrip demand in the short term at least.

By way of comparison, the Rimac has been £20 million for a few days. There are a regular supply at that price in the AH. My sense is that most are still selling at that figure currently - I bought one for £11 million buyout and sold it for £20 million this morning and it took about 10 minutes to sell. However, I can’t see that lasting indefinitely. At some stage, the price will surely drop again.

The Track tor is a good example of what may happen. It rose to about £3.5 million a couple of days ago. The market has then been saturated and a lot are now going unsold or for low bids. Max buyout is now down again to £2 million or so and should drop further.

I just picked up an Austin Taxi yesterday for $11,000,000 and now I can only re-sell it for $724,000 so that was a nice wast of about $10,000,000. Not sure what is happening with the auction house right now, can someone tell me why this is happening?

You must have purchased the Taxi from someone with legendary status, who can sell for much higher sums. My currency is £ and I (standard status) can only sell a Taxi currently for £600,000. On the plus side, it was £400,000 a couple of days ago as set out in my list on the previous page in this thread.

Basically, the Taxi is so rare that it will take time for the new system to push its price for standard users up to a level that’s sensible. Sit on it for a couple of weeks and I suspect you’ll be able to sell it for a profit.

For anyone looking to make swift credits, I’d be looking at cars in the £5,000,000 to £10,000,000 range but which do not have cars available every search in the AH. For example, I suspect we may have the amusing scenario where an 09 Corsa is worth £20 million shortly.

May also be worth buying up Mustang Spec 5s, as I think a lot will be sold this week - whilst they are a prize car. The current low buyout should therefore go up fairly quickly.

This is also a good way to identify the really rare cars. The Capri’s max buyout now being well below its market value can only be due to the small number being sold.

This has broken the auction house. Cars that should be hard to find are just flooding at 20 million. Cars selling more often should decrease in value not increase. Cars like the 812 and POs are just decreasing in value while I'm watching stuff like the Apollo (already flooded) Dino Demon etc increase in price and eventually start having pages of it cause nobody will pay 20 mill for them.

Not only of being flooded with the cars, the incentive for legend tuners and painters is now gone, if this new system is for increase on cars that are selling then why did they start with the rare cars first when they where hard to find in the ah

Not necessarily 😉

Lots of people have different agendas for using the AH, some painters (myself included) welcome the ability to sell Auction House exclusive designs at a price which they feel is more representative of their time and effort than the paltry sum of 100 Credits for a download.

Where do you find those rare cars, they are never available in the Auction House, even after this last update.
I'm looking for a Honda Prelude Si and a Ford Capri FE since forever, I'd pay 20 mils for them in a heartbeat.

The update hasn’t really affected the ultra rare cars. It’s made some rare cars much easier to acquire - for example, the Apollo or an Austin taxi - but the Ford Capri FE is so exclusive that it’s sale price has barely changed. You need to have some patience and luck if you want to try and obtain one of those through the AH.

I just saw a chevy ZR2 sell for 20 mil on the auction house. I quickly checked how much i cound sell mine as i was absolutly sure it wasnt worth that much and turns out i can auction mine (stock tune and no paint job) for a whoping 158 000 credits. So what gives? Sure im not a legendary painter or tuner but even that wouldnt explain the 19 842 000 credits difference.

So again, what gives?

I used to have fun buying and quick-flipping Trackhawks, Jeep SRT’s, and ‘11 Raptors. Now it’s pretty hard with the market so saturated with millions of overpriced inventory. But, will try to make the best of it.

I only just found out about this. I've just put a bunch of Limos in the Auction if anyone wants one.

As for the incentive for artists well you can sell cars not in your HUB for more money as rare cars.

It means that the designs aren't shared, so sold only on the cars.

Re-posted From Other Thread:

Ok, this has got to be user ban or something as I am not able to buy or bid on any car I just get bid fail error even though the cars are there and there is hours before the end of the auction but I still get the bid fail error and says try later. Same is happening even with the Buyout it says failed try again later.

Its obvious that it's not wide spread all users as the auctions are still taking bids and getting successful buyouts. So it;s just my user account that is being affected and I want this fixed now!

I have paid my money to own and play the game and have complied with all the rules even though it's obvious there is blatant abuse happening by other users who are not getting blocked or banned.
