Get a pop-up when launching on PC with an error that says "Dependent libraries or components are missing from your system. (Code: FH001)" I have an Alienware R7 with 1080TI graphics. Wondering if anyone else is having this same issue.

Hello,

Can you send over your dxdiag to forzafb@microsoft.com and put "for NitroGlitter" in the title? That way I can take a look.

Thanks

Nitro Glitter, I just sent over the dxdiag. According to a Reddit post, it appears others with Alienware computers are having the same issue.

The demo won't even launch.. it goes to the loading splash screen and then just crashes back to the desktop. FH3 works fine.

@MisterBlue 2000 Can you send over to dxdiag to forzafb@microsoft.com so I can take a look. Make sure you put "Nitro Gltiter" somewhere in the title so I can pull it faster.

Thanks

Thank you. As soon as I get this working I'm going to pre order the ultimate edition. I've no idea what I'm doing wrong?

FH3 FM7, Apex and every other game I have work perfectly fine. I'm sure I have the latest drivers.

Look forward to your help. I've emailed the details

It's sound related. I have multiple sound devices on my PC. If I disable them all it starts. I can then enable my main device after starting the game. I then get sound in cut scenes but no where else.

Same issue for me.
Sent my dxdiag over.
Would really like to try the game before pre-order.
Side note: Any pre-order bonuses that I will miss out on if I don't pre-order and just decide to try the game on game pass?
Can I just buy ultimate later on and get pre-order bonus?

Thanks

I have also sent my DXdiag log to you as well. My PC is an Alienware Aurora R7, and have tried disabling sound devices to no avail.

CPU:Intel® Core™ i7-8700K Six Core OC 4.70 GHz 12MB Cache LGA1151 +

Managed to make some progress by disabling all sound devices.

The game launches and runs. I then enable 1 sound device.

No audio during the game apart from during cut scenes. Game just refuses to launch with ANY sound device enabled.

Hoping the team can come up with a fix asap.....

Same issue here,
Alienware R7 with a 1080Ti and 32Gb ram

Just get the same message as everyone else in this thread

""Dependent libraries or components are missing from your system. (Code: FH001)"

Have tried disabling all my audio devices as suggested in this thread but it still won't load up.
Just sends me to a microsoft page where it fails to diagnose the problem, just gives a generic help page.

Yep put me hand up for this as well and not a Dell but a NUC Question guys Are you using HDMI or Display Port.

Using HDMI cables are cert 2.1 so are for 4K and above wondering if I would have more luck with Mini Display Port to HDMI cabel. Also have the option of USB Type C Thunderbolt connection to HDMI. just have to order the cabel. As for the Sound I use Plansonic RIG 800 They are a USB sound Device.

Press Windows Key-search check for updates-click check for updates-should be a firmware update for Alienware users. I just downloaded the update and reinstalling FH4 now. Will update if this fixed the issue

FALSE ALARM....did not fix the issue

I am using DisplayPort - Doesn't work. I have multiple monitors though... one is HDMI the other is DisplayPort.
I'm going to play around with my ports and see what happens.

The GPU driver update made it even worse. Before I could play FH3, but now I can't even play FH3 because apparently it's using my integrated gpu and disabling integrated gpu from device manager does nothing, it's still the same. Error FH501. And FH4 still has Error FH001.

Edit: Okay I fixed FH3 error FH501 by installing older driver, I'm currently using 390.65 version, but this is too old for FH4, at least it says so, and anything newer will force me to use my integrated gpu on FH3.

GTX 960 2gb

Guys I may have found a workaround.

My PC has Intel integrated graphics (INTEL UHD GRAPHICS 630), and thought that it may be trying to use that instead of my 1070. I simply disabled Intel graphics via Device manager and now the game boots up.

If anyone has Intel integrated graphics or a second display adapter, try this potential solution and see if your game launches.
