Nov. 24 final: 1:37.343

Nov. 21 update: 1:38.345

Nov. 18 update: 1:39.090

Nov. 17 Week in Review update:
Quote:
As of this writing, Dan’s time is a 1:39.186. This Bounty Hunter closes on November 26 at midnight Pacific, which means there’s plenty of time for you to set your best time. Keep in mind that everyone who sets a lap (fast or slow, clean or dirty!) will be receiving the 2010 Audi TT RS Coupe after the event is closed.

Earlier in the week we dropped our first Bounty Hunter Reward Car poll, allowing players to vote for the exclusive reward car for this event. After thousands of votes, the results are in: Players who beat Dan’s final posted time will win the 2016 W Motors Lykan HyperSport. It was a close race in the end, with the Ferrari Scaglietti and the Lykan running neck and neck the entire time. So close, in fact, that we’ve decided to also offer the Scaglietti to folks as a secondary reward. All players who score a clean lap under 1:40.000 will also be sent the Scaglietti once the event has closed. That’s a chance to win THREE amazing exclusive cars in one event!

One final note about the Bounty Hunter: Dan’s final lap time will be set no later than 5 p.m. Pacific on Friday, November 24.

November Bounty Hunter – Dan Greenawalt
Last month we kicked off our Bounty Hunter series in sterling fashion with 2017 IndyCar champ Josef Newgarden. Now we’ve got a new challenger for you: Turn 10 creative director Dan Greenawalt! The new Bounty Hunter event begins today, and you’ll find it in the Featured Events channel of Rivals. As always, the goal here is to beat the Bounty; doing so will get you a sweet exclusive car as a reward (more on that in just a bit).

Our November Bounty Hunter event will run until November 26, which gives everyone more than two weeks to train up to try and beat Dan’s final fastest time, which will be set during the week of November 19. We’ll be sure to keep the community updated on Dan’s current time to beat, as well as his final posted time well ahead of the event’s closing. If you want to find out how you compare as the Bounty Hunter event rolls along, be sure and follow Dan (GT: Nebuchadnezzar) on Xbox Live. We’ll be driving Dan’s own car – the 2016 Ford Shelby GT350R – on one of his favorite Forza tracks, Laguna Seca.

Now for the good part: rewards! For everyone who takes part in this month’s Bounty Hunter (that is, setting a time on leaderboard) will receive the 2010 Audi TT RS Coupe. Those who beat Dan’s time will also be rewarded with an exclusive car, and the Forza Community gets to vote on which car that will be. On Tuesday, Nov. 14 at around 10 a.m. Pacific, we’ll post a poll on our official Forza Motorsport Twitter account, giving everyone the chance to vote on the exclusive car that will end up being the November Bounty Hunter Reward car. The poll will be live for three days and we’ll announce the winning car in next week’s edition of the Week in Review.

Make one of the cars included in that poll a Ford GT FE painted by LittleVixen to look like the Anniversary Edition & I might decide to use the tweeter service... Other than that, just did a few sighter laps, damn that car is fun stock, Dan must have a blast driving that sweet machine in reality.

Wonderful. I can see the car being locked behind the time being a regular car, rather than an FE one....

Hrm... Laguna Seca, eh? I might even brush off some rust and give manual shifting a go when I get around to this one...

I don't use Twitter either but more people use it than the forums.

He's set a 1:42.xxx so far. Just got home from a night shift so excuse the lack of detail. I'm tired! Managed a 1:40.xxx hardcore time in my sleep deprived state, I'll set something reasonable after I've had some sleep!

I'm on Twitter so hopefully whatever I choose wins. ;)

Had a couple of short (4 - 6 lap) runs & clocked a 1:38.628 which will do for a marker.

I very rarely beat the Bounty but always surprise myself with my final time. It's a tricky lap to put together but as I turn the assists off one by one, I'm hoping to knock another second off by the deadline… good luck peeps!

**edit** 1:38.477

I did a slightly longer run than that Midnyte, might have clocked about 16 laps altogether.

Struggling to get one lap strung together, either killing it half way through the track then literally down hill from the corkscrew on or start poorly and finish well.

In the end though worth it as managed 1:37.613 sitting 240th - which still only puts me top 8% at the moment. How the really quick guys are pulling 1:34's is beyond me.

Will have to see how Dan improves & keep my fingers crossed.

So do we have to add him as a friend, like the last one, or do I have to keep checking here for his current time?

I've added him this time around. I didn't think I had much chance with the other fella but hoping to do o.k. against Dan.

I'm sure folks will update his time on here though, so completely up to you

Lol - it did take me 16 laps though.

I reckon you'll destroy that time before the end Midnyte. Hopefully I'll go quicker as well but Dan well not so much ;)

After about 20 minutes of lapping I'm into the 39s. If Dan's schedule is as busy as I'd like to think it is, I shouldn't have to worry.

I mean he's just messing around for now right? He has all assists enabled.

Anyone know how he compares skill-wise to say Mechberg? I beat his VIR Bounty Hunter in F6 and that was fun, a decent challenge but no where near as hard as Josef Newgarden's Bounty last month.

4 Laps in and I’m at 1:38.1xx. It seemed quick but not as quick as I can go. A few corners felt like that had the wrong entry speed a braking point, and I could tighten it up coming out of corners.
