If you did earn the Prowler in the Forzathon event the Speciality Dealer DOES NOT tell you you already own it.

I really need to get in the habit of checking my garage before I buy things in the dealer, at least the car wasn't very expensive. Sold the Fthon one and kept the dealer one (I like the production number thing in the garage).

At least the game told me I already owned the TVR.

Exactly, I sold the other one and bought the dealer one just for the 10 points lol. Doesnt make much of a difference, i'm already tier 44
Forza junkie since FM2. Horizons are the break I need from the track.

Hi, I figured out a nice D class tune for the VW bus to take corners like a champ, so try that

- drag tires
- narrower tires (I think I went down to 215 or 235 maybe) in the front

you can compensate understeer due to drag tires through tuning (although obviously they will not perform great if you're in simulation settings with the tires wearing off crazy fast), the care is pretty stable, corners like a champ and accelerates like mad, especially for a D class car

it's pretty competitive for this class. I'll try a C class tune tomorrow but at some point the narrowness of the tires will show the limits. but D class works like a charm and C class also might work.

Anybody who tunes a VW Bus is alright in my books. Bless your soul, friend.

Useful tip, thanks!

I don't know why they don't implement the same grey/non-grey background like elsewhere.

I think the Prowler is a sleeper car in B Class? Spent some time making a tune for it yesterday and I can get around Road Atlanta about .5 seconds faster than in my S2000? Maybe it's the weird, incredibly low geared, 4 speed transmission that is really good at laying the power down?

Love it so far.

edit: btw, the time on Road Atlanta is 1:34.3xx

because each car is individually numbered so treated as a different car

The speciality dealer never gives me an indication if I have any car already even ones likes the TVR which I bought the last time it came around. I always have to check.

While I'm one of the first to call T10 out on strange design decisions (there are plenty of folks 'round here who know this by now), I think this whole "I don't know if I have the car already" thing is a little overblown. I have about 500, and I have a pretty good grasp on which I do, and which I don't have. While I've made 1 or 2 mistakes (bought and extra Zagato and Titan Warrior when it made its first of 12,000 SD appearances), I don't think it's that serious of an issue.

For those that want lower car numbers, meaning they have to buy quickly and may not have time to check their garage: doesn't ManteoMax tell us what's coming to SD before it actually does? Maybe I'm wrong on that.

Anyway, super happy to have a chance at the Scirocco this week. Feel bad for all of those that sprained their thumbs trying to win that ridic bounty that awarded it the first time, but it is what it is.

Scirocco was the prize for beating either Shmoo or GR1MALIAN IIRC, who were within reach for most.

The hardest car to win in that BH was the VW Bus.
May the forced induction be with you.

Now that all of the cars will be unlocked, I wonder what the Specialty Dealer is gonna have in store.

I'm guessing that the numbered cars will be something in-between a standard car and an FE car, that is, they'll have something unique about them, whether it's a unique color or even a different conversion option.
May the forced induction be with you.

I presume from the next update onward, speciality dealer cars may have a good discount off of their actual value or maybe we'll actually see them do something with the Collector number.

Something I noticed about the Jag. The Specialty Dealer version has whitewalls, the one I had from Leagues, did not.
Rules of troubleshooting:
1) Have you tried turning it off and on again?
2) Is your Internet working?
3) https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status < Check here for service issues.
4) If all else fails open a service ticket and/or forum post.

Where is the source for that

Or is it just an assumption/expectation

This is just expectation , after all cars are unlocked after july update (expect unicorns and fe cars)
But also maybe they offer expensive cars with lower prize or with a bigger collector score who knows.

Cars added VW Corrado, Lambo Reventón, Jeep Grand Cherokee '08.

However... The old cars were not removed. They weren't available to buy, but they were there.

I wonder if ALL of the cars are gonna have special runs now, and the goal is to collect all of them to maximize tier bonus.
May the forced induction be with you.

Actually surprised it even got updated since all cars available here are now unlocked
Is there much purpose to getting an extra 1-50 tier points from the same cars

Apparently there will be changes coming to the SD soon, so who knows what T10 has up their sleeve.

That’s because when you buy the car, it’s homoligated. If you change the tires to stock they will be white walls.
