what is all this about?
why am I being moderated??

It's probably one of those things - have the forum staff create more work for themselves as they can't trust user-posted comments to be above board.

I think honestly I'd prefer being able to post and then have people report posts that aren't acceptable, for the user then to receive a warning or infraction based on their offence(s). That's how it's worked when I've been staff on other forums. so perhaps some enjoy clicking "allow" for all the posts that come up from new users.

All new accounts are under moderation for a while. It will be lifted eventually.
