New cars accessible on January 10

Car Pass DLC available from the Autoshow menu:
  • 1938 MG TA Midget
  • 1966 Volkswagen Double Cab Pick-Up

Both of these cars are new to Forza games. The VW is a late 1st-generation Type 2 (identifiable by its split window). Wikipedia discusses its rarity in the United States due to a tariff war between the U.S and France and Germany in the mid 1960s.

New cars accessible on January 24

Car Pass DLC available from the Autoshow menu:
  • 2005 Honda NSX-R GT
  • 1929 Mercedes-Benz Super Sport Kurz Barker Roadster [SSK]

The NSX-R GT was last seen in the Xbox 360 generation of Forza games, last appearing in FH1 and as a Unicorn in FM4. Compared to the standard NSX-R the GT actually has lower stock horsepower but 30 points higher Performance Index due to better handling. The Mercedes SSK is new to Forza, and now the second-oldest model in the game (the 1926 Bugatti Type 35 C is in the Vintage Racers division). The SSK was the first non-Italian car to win the Mille Miglia in 1931.

New cars accessible on January 31 (Series 5 | Winter)

Car Pass DLC available from the Autoshow menu:
  • 1966 Hillman Imp
  • 1963 Opel Kadett A

Both models are new to Forza.

Quote:
1966 Hillman Imp
It’s name implies a devilish spirit or a magical creature. The Hillman Imp is a bit of both by the nature of the innovations it brought to the British car market. While it would never match the production or sales numbers of its top competitor in the tiny city car segment, the BMC Mini, it did offer new features that were far ahead of its time. Consider its miniscule 875cc rear-mounted motor, one of its many firsts for a British production car, or that the inline four-cylinder block and head were made of aluminum. Plus, there were technological conveniences like an automatic choke for easy starting and gauges to provide key engine status measurement. All these features contributed to great success in both rally and touring car racing, a provenance that you will surely appreciate wherever you choose to roam with it.

1963 Opel Kadett A
You may remember the beloved Opel Kadett A named “Oliver” that Richard Hammond of Top Gear fame slogged through the Makgadikgadi Salt Pan of Botswana. He became so attached to the little car that he had it restored and owns it to this day. Hammond’s love of this classic comes with good cause as it was a secret weapon of Opel developed specifically to invade the dominance of Volkswagen during the 1960s. Even though it delivered similar levels of horsepower (around 40 hp) it did offer better heating as well as more interior and luggage space. The Kadett’s popularity and engine reliability provided a resurgence for Opel and the car was exported to many countries including the United States. Whether you punish yours in the muck and mud or reserve your driving strictly to the road is entirely up to you.

New cars accessible on February 7 (Series 5 | Spring)

Car Pass DLC available from the Autoshow menu:
  • 1968 Ford Mustang GT 2 + 2 Fastback
  • 1965 Ford Transit

Both models are new to Forza.

Quote:
1968 Ford Mustang GT 2 + 2 Fastback
There are few more memorable car chases in the history of Hollywood films than the unforgettable sequence in Bullitt, starring Steve McQueen. Under the hood of this baby is the same 390 V8 making about 325 hp that burned rubber around the streets of San Francisco. Which of course further ingrained McQueen, who loved to drive in his private life, as one of the great car driving heroes of the big screen. Movie screen fame aside, just consider the 2 + 2 Fastback itself, a car so desirable that you can still build one today provided you have a donor chassis. Just another pony car? Hardly. This is the car that helped make the Mustang the legend it is to this day.

1965 Ford Transit
Practicality not excitement is the Ford Transit’s strength, but it does it so well and has hauled so many goods over the years it is much more than just an endearing mule. The Transit is a beloved workhorse that delivered everything from rubber duckies looking for the perfect bath to rock bands searching for stardom. Ask Scotland Yard and they will tell you that the Transit has been the culprit getaway vehicle in an astounding number of crimes, despite its inability to “getaway” with any significant quickness. It’s bland, and its functional down to its 73 horsepower V4 and live beam suspension, but sometimes getting the job done will earn you more credit than winning races.

New cars accessible on February 14 (Series 6 | Summer)

Car Pass DLC available from the Autoshow menu:
  • 2018 TVR Griffith
  • 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible

The Griffith is new to Forza. It's now the highest performance Modern Sports Car in the game, with a PI of 844 vs. the 2019 Porsche's 840 (all other Modern Sports Cars are A class or lower). The Eldorado has previously appeared once in the Forza franchise, as a DLC addition to FM4.

Quote:
2018 TVR Griffith
After 20 years, the return of the heraldic TVR brand brings a new member to the 200 mph plus club in the Griffith. The group of private investors who acquired the TVR brand back in 2013 have not gone out on a limb with the Griffith design, but created just what fans might have envisioned themselves. The Griffith is cut like the top exotics with sweeping, purposeful lines that create downforce and aid engine cooling. The optimal 50:50 weight distribution, helped in part by mounting the Cosworth V8 well behind the front axle, provides a base for handling that will make its top speed secondary to what it can do in the corners. Your first chance to drive the rebirth of TVR is right here.

1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible
Named after the sophisticated French resort town patronized by the likes of Napoleon and Queen Victoria, the Biarritz convertible defined elegance and grace in the late automotive world of the 1950s. It also redefined the term “land yacht.” The car was almost 19 feet long and nearly seven feet wide. The huge tail fins, the tallest ever made, and the unique “rocketship” taillights were just a few of the styling cues that set this car apart. Powered by a 345 horsepower triple-carbureted 390 V8, this 5,000-pound luxury cruiser could almost reach 130 mph. Turning radius was a mere parking lot width of 24 feet and the air-ride suspension while providing a comfy ride gave the Biarritz its distinct “floatiness.”
