Using a dell i7577 with gtx 1060.
The game runs but my car is slow. The first real story race, not the tutorial, the other cars fly rights past me with no real change for me to catch up?

Should be fine. Running it on a 965m no problem. You cannot use the highest settings. I use medium. You can set the drivatar difficulty lower and check you assists.
