Thanks for the list and the optimism. In true Forzathon fashion probably only a third on that list will work but here's hoping :) I think I will wait a bit until trial and error results are posted here :D

No doubt someone will try 20 times in a car that doesn't work, and not have the sense to try another one!

They all worked last time
Just some people dont know how to use the filter correctly and were using cars they classed as classic but not what the game does

I just hope people only post the ones they CAN'T get to work so i can go use them

The race needs to be done in single player ..online adventure doesn't count for the race

Hold my tea fam! I'll do that in a car that is not even on the list, then post how the game never gave me the reward.

Did an online adventure in the Ferrari 250 GTO and the adventure mode challenge didn't pop (I got in the session just after it started though so it might have been that), did another one in the 250 LM and it popped.

Race in any event popped on first adventure mode race, doing the others now 👍

Is there any way to choose the class in an private online adventure?

The Ferrari 166MM Barchetta and Jaguar MK II 3.8 are barn finds and both work as classic racers. I used the Ferrari with an A class tune/upgrade and got the Lola. Other racers, using Jaguar MK II 3.8 cars upgraded to A800, finished ahead of me but they were probably better drivers. Obviously completing the first event will automatically complete the fourth challenge. I'll have a look later at the lucky escapes but there are easier ways of getting 120,000 CR.

You need to do every event from 1 to 4 to complete it
If you join after that 1st event it wont count

So that would have been it

Just had to do it 3 times in hell due to being disconnected just before the championship results screen
And then joined as the 1st race ended
Not fun being smashed around pillar to post for 4 races
Let alone an extra 7 on top of that

No excuse for anyone to try and fail numerous times this week. I just used the Ford Lotus Cortina 1966 for them all

^^^^ Thanks for your post and the car advice Cherry Sparkles :)

Based on your advice I used the Lotus Cortina also and everything worked/unlocked. Always loved that car as well. Cheers (Y)

Played through events 2-4 of an existing online adventure to get to the beginning of the next one, only to have the selected event omit any eligible cars for this forzathon.

No problem, I'm quite nostalgic about the Ford Cortina Mark I (as it was called in the UK in the 1970's). One of my earliest memories was sitting on my granddads knee allegedly steering it while he did the pedals :)

I used 4 different Classic racers changed for each challenge and they all worked...

I did have to do the Online adventure twice as I joined just too late in the first one... I did Collision Off Racing Always S2 In the Alfa TZ...

Got mine modelled after my fathers 1964 Mk1 Consul Cortina 2 door, light blue with a white roof. Fond memories of that car, one of my earliest memories is helping him take one of the wheels off it to do something with the brakes. Got me all nostalgic now haha

The Mercedes 300SEL 6.3 did NOT work for me on the "Complete a race" challenge. Probably because it was added as a Forzathon reward.

#Forzathon History Lesson (August 11TH - August 14TH) Here is all you need to know!

Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzHgVe2LtDw

For anyone who would prefer NOT to watch a video, this is for you! Another #Forzathon event is here and active now, and it is your second chance to win the Lola T70. It will end early on Monday, August 14TH. The 4 challenges, achievements:

COMPLETE a race in a CLASSIC RACER - Win 55,000 XP - Unfortunately, you can't combine this with the second challenge. Just go into your auto show, sort by championship, and find the "classic racers." Plenty of options, just pick one to fit your budget, if you don't have one already. You'll use this car for the second challenge as well. Find any sprint or circuit race, and complete it using your classic racer. Blueprinting a circuit race to one lap is the quickest and easiest.

COMPLETE an ONLINE ADVENTURE using a CLASSIC RACER - Win the Lola #6 Penske Sunoco T70 - Get in any classic racer, go to your social tab on your menus, and select online adventure, OR, preferably, private session, private online adventure. If you have friends to play with, a private match is much easier. You can do racing or games, and it does not matter since the races will not count towards the first challenge, since it is online. To COMPLETE an adventure, you must start at the first event, and play through the fourth event. This is why I recommend NOT playing public, since it can start you at the second, third, or fourth event, and then you are just wasting time. Once you complete the full adventure and get through the long loading screens, you'll get your reward, the LOLA!

Perform 20 Lucky Escape Skills - Win 120,000 credits - Drift or E-drift skill, and then a near miss skill, simultaneously. Doesn't have to be pretty, just drift, and then come close to some traffic or drivatars, without hitting them, all in one motion. I recommend using a "Drift Skills Boost" HE car if you have one. You will get a lot more skill score, which will lead to more skill points.

COMPLETE ANY event - Win 15,000 XP - Disregard this challenge, it will already be done if you completed either of the first 2 challenges.

That is all you need to know! I hope that this helps everyone in one way or another. If you have any questions, issues, or tips I may have missed or forgot, just let me know! As always, thanks for watching/reading, and have a wonderful day!

Which race did you do, as that car should have worked as it is classic racer?

The head to heads don't tend to count as a "race" based on previous forzathons.

Unlucky! I'd upgraded my Cortina to A class to give me the power to drift/near miss then went online forgetting that A class isn't as popular as S1 so Cortina not valid. Went back to the garage, upgraded to S1 (Nice tune as it happens) went back online joining the start of the 4th race...obviously then had to do 4, 1, 2, 3, and 4 again.

It was a championship race. Switched to the Alfa TZ2 in the next one and it popped.
Also hearing that the Alfa 33 doesn't work either.
