Hello all!

So, with the Hot Wheels pack dropping in a few minutes' time, I figured I'd share out some Hot Wheels replica liveries I have made over the past that closely resemble the toy models that I have in my collection from when I was younger and up to now when I come across a cool looking livery to try out. Would make sense to race the cars we have on the Hot Wheels orange tracks to match the very toys that have done it in many homes across the globe.

I'm still a bit of a novice at making liveries, so I hope these don;t look utterly terrible, but I'll let you all be the judge for that.

So to start off with, here is one of the first replicas I did, using a Lotus Esprit model I got when I was a young lad in the early 00s:

File Name: HW Esprit
Gamertag/Creator: RECEPTOR 17

And this is the model in question:

Next is one I'm rather proud of I worked on initially in FM5, which is a replica of a Saleen S7 Hot Wheels die-cast I have from around the same time as the Esprit above:

And here's the toy itself to compare:

File Name: HW Saleen S7
Gamertag/Creator: RECEPTOR 17

Next is a more recent creation, which is a replica of a Hot Wheels' "Track Aces/Stars" version of the Subaru Impreza from 2003:

And here's the model I own of it:

File Name: Track Stars 2007
Gamertag/Creator: RECEPTOR 17

And finally for today, here is a replica of not quite the same car, but close enough with an Aston Martin V12 Vantage S, done up in the livery of a Vantage GT3 Hot Wheels car I own.

And the original itself, unfortunately I haven't got the talent to make the Hot Wheels logo from scratch just yet, so I left that box blank in FH3 instead of the now gone white Aston Martin logo that was in FM6 for now until I can make one or Forza provide a Hot Wheels universal logo to add:

File Name: HW Vantage GT3
Gamertag/Creator: RECEPTOR 17

And that's that for now, I'm planning on making a Twin Mill III and Boneshaker replica very soon when the cars are released as I have a model of each to try and replicate (I think one of them is used in Rocket League currently so that''l be fun to try).

Until then, I hope you like the liveries currently posted and enjoy the racing on the orange loops and jumps from tonight on!

17 out.

I saw someone in an online freeroam session that was in a Porsche 993 GT2 which had the livery and matching wheels of the Super Treasure Hunt HW model released last year. It was near identical to the HW version.
Forza Faithful since FM4.

Thank you Hotrod King! I'm not good at the full blown amazing art pieces a lot of the community can do, but I hope I'm improving as I do some more replicas.

I'll have to look out for that one if I ever get the Porsche expansion. Thanks for flagging that one up to me!

Been a short while as we have enjoyed and played through the wonderful Hot Wheels expansion, but I've made a new Livery replica in the meantime, which I had originally made in FM6 on a 90s Mazda Rx-7, but the car it was on hasn't come over to FH3, so the livery was left behind until I remade it onto another Mazda RX-7, this time the 1990 Savannah variant (of which there'll be another replica livery for in the near future).

With this one, it is relatively simplistic, but effective as it is on the toy model too, form the 2014 Night Burnerz collection:

Gamertag: RECEPTOR 17
Livery Name: Hot Wheels 2014
Car: 1990 Mazda Savannah RX-7

Hopefully my next plan is to recreate a Falken scheme on one of the Porsches I've earned from a Forzathon a while ago:

So until then, stay tuned, please feel free to leave a comment etc, and thank you for stopping by!
