don't know if anyone else has gotten this, my FM6 froze up on me, when I went to go restart it comes back with a prompt that says "load failed, an unknown error has occurred, please try again later" well I have hard restarted my xbox, uninstalled, and reinstalled FM6, and still the same message, and wont let me access forza motorsports 6

Have you tried the game on another profile? JUst to make sure it isn't your Xbox One? Hope you don't have to restart your progress.

I don't actually get a message, but since my Ultimate Edition has been active, when I launch the game every now and then, it will freeze on the loading screen. I tried quitting the game and going back into it a couple of times, but it still did the same thing. I then decided to shut the Xbox down completely, pull the power plug out of the back of the Xbox, wait about 10 seconds, plug it back in and start the Xbox back up again, and the game launched successfully.

Incidentally it happened to me again today and I unplugged the Xbox, restarted it and it didn't fix the issue this time.

Surely we aren't the only two having this problem!

Among other things mine keeps freezing up also on its own and whenever I accidentally hit RB button on load tune and it locks all my friends and me have the benchmark tweeting out reading faster times on 0 to 100 than 0 to 60 lol lots of patching to do

so I have unplugged the xbox one for 10 seconds, reset both my modem, and router, and blam-o.... nothing

I have this issue 90% of the time I put the game on, it's getting frustrating now. Logging out and back in again doesn't work, the game stays frozen in the opening/title screen. I have to do a hard restart every time 😕

dude, the hard restarts do nothing, I have done everything, and still screwed up... anyone know how to contact turn 10? and did I lose all my cars and credits I worked for?

The game save losses have been present for as long as Forza has existed. lol
It really picked up in Forza 3 and has been happening ever since. That's why i'm wary when they say 100% new codebase. Yeah, no. lol
This issue is probably down to the early access and them now getting the servers ready for tomorrow's full release for the US, and more players the rest of the week.
It should clear up after then hopefully.

ok, so after 40 mins on the phone with Microsoft.... going thru rebooting, and re-downloading my profile... they said the early access was a beta version, and they ended the beta yesterday, and there should be an update tomorrow when the game releases, and everything should be alright... we will see

Dude chill out the game doesn't even really come out till tomorrow. U really thought they were releasing the full version early? No, they did that to test it and get the bugs out and in my book a very smart idea.

first of all, if that's what they did, would have been nice to know in the first place... so that way i'm not wanting to throw my one out the window, second of all I spent over an hour on the phone with Microsoft trouble shooting everything in the book, and the answer was simple, the version that was released on the 10th was a beta version, and they ended it yesterday... that's funny, I have 2 friends that are still able to play it... so do we have any idea when its gonna be released online tomorrow?

I haven't been looking too much but I think it's about 11. I've had 9 car spins, 3 Mod spins and a CR spin, so that sounds like 12 or 13 to me.

I've had the ultimate edition of forza 6 since the 10th, but I randomly got this issue yesterday. The game won't launch, I'm reinstalling it but i don't think it's solving the issue. The message says 'Load failed. Unknown errors, please try again later'. Please help!

I am seriously disappointed with turn 10, and their support... I have a legit issue with my game, I have spent hours on the phone with Microsoft diagnosing on why I can't access my game, and now trying to contact turn 10, and all I have found is an email address, I have made several emails to try to figure this out, and no response... not even a phone number is listed to talk to a warm body.... this is seriously a lack luster way to conduct a company, and way to look out for your customers, I know I am not the only one having issues with FM6, and T10 has offered not even a response to what is going on... sorry to say if T10 doesn't get this resolved... this will be the last time I ever purchase a forza motorsports game ever, I jumped ship on gran turismo because I believed forza was a superior product to what poly phony was putting out, especially after the major delay with GT4, and GT5, I have been with forza since the very first one, and never have this kind of issue ever happened

Sorry to hear that you ran into this, um, unfortunate situation. I have also been left with almost zero help in the past, but I just decided it was because T10 doesn't have money or space in their small team for a dude to just sit there and run support.

Anyway, why don't you tell us your exact issue and run us through the steps you have taken so far. Many people here are very resourceful and have found workaround or full solutions for issues regarding FM6.

according to the BBB, they have between 100-300 employees, you cant tell me that they can't have one of those monkeys doing support... so far I have done everything from re-booting my xbox, deleteing, and re downloading my profile, I have reset my network modem, and router, I have even purchased the actual game on CD, and absoultly nothing has changed

Have you tried the steps in the first post of this thread exactly as indicated?

Have you tried going to My Games & Apps, Manage Game, select your save under Saved Data, and Deleted it, with a restart of the console and game?

Send an email to forzafb@microsoft.com with subject "FM6 game save" and a link to this thread. They have been providing replacement credits for lost saves in FH2 and FM5.

What were the steps that led to the game working this time?
