Hey, haven't been here in a while. But yeah, I've recently started drifting again on FM4 and have got back into it, and later this year I'm planning on making the transition to next gen. I'm considering picking up FM5/6 and maybe buying a pre-owned wheel and whatever. I was wondering whether DL community is dead or not and whether there's tournaments being hold, public lobbies etc and switching to new gen. Just asking for everyone's honest opinions on how the community's doing and if it's genuinely worth coming back.

Most of the community is on FH2 because people dislike the physics because they do not want to take the time to learn how to tune in FM5. FM6 should be active at release, and some old guys might come back. VFD will be back for the season, and other events that hate to cooperate with us will be back as well. $299.00 Thrustmaster tx is a better wheel, but if you have previous experience with a rubberband wheel. The $99.00 thrustmaster is a choice. My honest opinion is the game is a barely buy, but 80% of the forza tandem community is full of kids with high egos that have no respect. Lol that why other events hate us because I state the facts. Glad you're back

Yeah, guess I'll see how everyone reacts to FM6 and make a judgement from there. And I use an MS wheel, is the cheaper Thrustmaster somewhat similar to that? If so I'm pretty happy with that and would take that, I'm not looking for mad quality and features, just something that's like my MS wheel and I can drift with it really.

$99.00 thrustmaster has no force feedback. It only has vibration.

Ah, damn really? I'll take a look around for the one with FF preowned and see what it goes for.
