Thanks. I struggle with low contrast shots, and tend to shy away from them. It's very easy to go too low and have everything appear grey and flat (which, admittedly, isn't a problem when you're shooting a B&W photo of some misty forest). And I have my tv set up to show a bit more contrast than default (my own peference) so when I try them, sometimes it comes out a bit higher than I wanted. I will also admit that those two, and particularly the first one, took a fair bit of editing to reach the final product.
Here's one that only got the standard editing from me, which I neglected to post in here this morning

I'm still trying to decide what to do for my set today. It will probably have a lot of drifting shots though, I bought myself one of those kontrol freek joystick things shaped like a big U and so I can play now with sim steering on, having a great time having to do (slightly) more thinking about steering angles and throttle input while drifting. Maybe that will be the set actually, drifting
